Chapter 326 Dream World, Awakening in a Bed

He opened the hatch, slowly lay down inside, and at the same time, the countdown in his mind was down to only three seconds.

"Brain-like replica number four, execute the command!"

"Bang!"

The entire dimensional collision chamber was illuminated by a bright blue light, so dazzling that it could not be seen with the naked eye, enveloping the robotic arm and countless materials, layer upon layer!

The cabin began to tremble violently, the vibrations so intense that they could shatter the molecules of a steel body into pieces.

Jiang Cheng felt his brain suddenly become chaotic, making it impossible for him to think normally. Most of his senses also lost their function, his physical form began to become blurred, and his cognition was completely blocked. He didn't know how much time had passed; it felt like an eternity.

Only then did he experience the feeling of weightlessness as he fell.

It felt like falling off a cliff, with a bottomless abyss below.

Darkness engulfed him, from head to toe, and he vanished completely from the prime plane...

Time, first and foremost time. Jiang Cheng could no longer feel the passage of time. He couldn't even keep up with the countdown he had planned to do to stay conscious. He immediately entered a state of chaos. No matter how hysterically he tried to wake himself up, his head remained embedded in the mud. Sticky, ink-like liquid was stuffed into his mouth, nose, and ears.

He couldn't open his eyes and could only wait.

It was this waiting that made Jiang Cheng realize how panicked and even devastated a person can be when they lose their sense of time; only a steadfast will constantly prevented this feeling of separation.

After what seemed like an eternity, he became somewhat numb, and the feeling of falling finally disappeared.

Jiang Cheng felt himself stop, and his mind went blank.

A surge of ecstasy welled up inside me.

We've already entered the dimensional rift!

Jiang Cheng was extremely excited because he was a scientific researcher, and always had been. This was his only career, and one he would never abandon. He still remembered the day he first discovered the secrets of the human genome; his thirst for knowledge surged up like a tidal wave, making him extremely excited.

Now, faced with a new world that humanity has never reached before, a realm of complete location, he could not refuse even more.

With a mix of anticipation and fear, he first called out to Gu Qingwan in his mind. Her clear and beautiful voice echoed in his mind, "Boss, I'm here," before he dared to open his eyes.

As the human eye is an organ that receives information, Jiang Cheng was afraid that what he was about to see would be too shocking and would attack his already weak consciousness. Only now that Gu Qingwan had activated and begun to protect him could he act without any worries.

The instant I opened my eyes!

A miracle came into view of Jiangcheng.

What kind of world is this...?

In the pitch-black area, he couldn't see his own hands and feet, and could only touch them with his hands. Only when his body suddenly swam forward did his delicate face stand out in the overlapping space. He had fantasized about it many times, but seeing it in person, he still felt that his imagination was too poor.

At the farthest point in the distance, in this black world, there are two indistinct orbs of light. They are enormous, yet so far apart that they inspire fear. It feels like looking up at the sky through teary eyes, where the bright full moon becomes a shimmering reflection, quietly reflected in the lake, forming continuous patches.

All around, countless rays of light linked from one end to the other, so numerous they were beyond counting, filling the entire world and emitting a faint glow. They swayed constantly up and down, left and right, intertwining with each other, then suddenly released like a taut string, piercing through Jiang Cheng's body and breaking away from the other side.

This world is much like God's infant, playing with colorful balls of yarn when bored, tossing them around haphazardly and then leaving them to their own devices, which is why it appears so chaotic and disorderly.

Jiang Cheng was deeply shocked. He stood in the darkness for a long time, constantly looking at the lines.

Only then did I realize that every space has lines responsible for maintaining the order of its flow. There are more than one of these lines, from X-lines, Y-lines, U-lines, Z-lines, N-lines, to M-lines. These construct a basic set of rules, distinct from yet seemingly similar to other worlds, their paths never changing, always the same! But the processes are vastly different. They coincide at the points where they are supposed to collide, then separate again, becoming parallel, awaiting their next encounter.

So, which space should we choose?

Jiang Cheng didn't know, but he had to make a decision as soon as possible.

He couldn't stay in the dimensional rift for long, so he casually reached out and grabbed one of them.

"Bang!" The instant it gripped!

Jiang Cheng felt a burning sensation throughout his body and began to tremble uncontrollably. He felt as if his body was being torn apart, along with his consciousness, and even his eyeballs were split in half!

An indescribable stinging sensation filled my entire mind.

Consciousness blurred in an instant.

Fortunately, there was Gu Qingwan.

In Jiangcheng's ocean of consciousness, a transparent membrane protected a pale blue ball of light. No matter how the waves crashed against it, or how the tides carried it to the deep sea or tossed it into the sky, the ball of light remained unmoved, as if it had fallen into... a long slumber.

He felt like a fish.

In the boundless deep sea, surrounded by murky water, countless mayflies drift about, surging with the tide, chasing an unknown destination.

The creature penetrated its body, oblivious to it, and could clearly smell the stench in its nasal cavity, enough to make it vomit.

The pressure of the deep sea was similar, as if tens of millions of tons of rocks were pressing down on him.

He was exhausted. He looked up at the sky with anticipation, where there was a light, like the surface of the sea, or perhaps the end of the deep sea? Could he swim there to escape the pressure and breathe fresh air?
