On a summer evening, a man and a woman walked along Huanjiang Road. Under the gentle sunlight, the river surface shimmered, reflecting the sky at all times.
Ke Bing walked behind somewhat awkwardly, her eyes darting around, occasionally turning her head to look at Chang Huanhe, and occasionally looking up at Jiang Cheng's back.
They had just left the school gate not long ago, and perhaps to avoid the gaze of their classmates or something else, they lingered on this road without saying where they were going.
Like strangers walking on the same road.
Anyone who didn't know them would think these two didn't know each other.
"Um... are we going to walk there?" Ke Bing spoke first.
"I've called a car, let's sit for a while."
Jiang Cheng awkwardly found a bench to sit on, while she sat on the other side.
Under the sycamore trees, dappled sunlight streamed in, and a gentle breeze stirred the ground.
The sky in the distance was a fiery red, as if it were on fire.
They sat there quietly, at a subtle distance, with the overflowing river in front of them and turbulent emotions churning within them.
It's not their fault; it's their first time, and most people who haven't dated before are just as awkward.
"You look great in your clothes today."
I feel fine.
Ke Bing wore light makeup, with delicate eyeliner, and her cheeks were slightly flushed, making her look very charming. The beauty mark under her eye made her face even more captivating.
The floral skirt was playfully billowed by the wind, then slowly fell down.
"The car is here."
The two uneasy passengers sat in the back seat, the scenery rushing past on either side...
When they arrived at the movie theater, the movie had already started. After quickly checking their tickets, the two entered the dimly lit screening room.
Not knowing which seats were theirs, they just randomly picked a spot and sat down.
As expected, the movie "Peach Blossom Hero vs. Chrysanthemum Monster" didn't attract many viewers. Only a handful of people occupied the entire screening room, making it seem almost like a private screening.
Despite the terrible movie and the empty environment, which didn't create much of a movie-watching atmosphere, Ke Bing was exceptionally happy.
She spent the whole night dreaming about it, and then sat in the movie theater, watching the film like any other boy or girl.
Jiang Cheng noticed that the light, sometimes black and sometimes white, illuminated her cheeks.
Ke Bing's lips were constantly turned up in a smile.
She was so happy...
It would be even better if we had a bucket of popcorn.
Just as she was thinking this, Jiang Cheng magically produced a bucket of popcorn. "Here, do you want some?"
"When did you buy it?" Ke Bing's beautiful eyes were full of surprise.
"I bought this when you were checking my ticket." He placed the popcorn on the armrest next to the chair.
I popped two into my mouth. "They're pretty sweet, honey and cream flavored."
Jiang Cheng picked up a popcorn and pretended to stuff it into Ke Bing's mouth.
She pursed her lips shyly, but still opened her moist lips.
He withdrew his hand, stuffed the popcorn into his mouth, and said coldly, "Take some if you want."

Thirty minutes later.
On the screen:
At the summit of the Forbidden City, Peach Blossom Knight waved his hand, and countless sword energies swept from the west. With a roar, he instantly entered the realm of a terrestrial immortal!

Ke Bing watched intently, slapping Jiang Cheng's hand repeatedly and exclaiming, "The special effects are so cool!"

By the time the two of them finished watching the movie and came out, it was already getting dark. After taking the elevator to the outside of the building, she was still chattering on and on about the plot, looking very excited.
She walked and talked, her face beaming as she swept across the bustling street.
Then, Ke Bing's smile froze on her face. She suddenly stood still and stopped walking. Her mind went blank, and her face turned deathly pale.
The color had vanished.
In just a moment...
Because, in front of her stood a familiar figure, and parked a familiar car.
Ke Youfang.
The man's face was so dark it seemed to drip water, and his eyes behind his glasses shot out two cold glints as he stared intently at her.
That look in his eyes sent chills down your spine.
What's he doing here? Wasn't he busy with something?
In an instant, Ke Bing felt a chill run down her spine, filled with shock and fear. Her heart plummeted into an abyss, a fear that defied description.
"What's wrong?" Jiang Cheng asked in confusion, not knowing why she had stopped leaving, until he followed Ke Bing's gaze.
This was the first time Jiangcheng had ever seen what this pervert looked like.
To be honest, Ke Youfang was very handsome, with the look of an elite manager. His hair was neatly combed, and he had some stubble on his cheeks, a hooked nose, and deep-set eyes.
It looks very hostile.
Like a pale vampire living in an ancient castle.
"Bing'er, go home." He uttered these two words coldly, glancing at Jiang Cheng.
In that instant, he felt as if Ke Youfang's gaze was so sharp it could pierce him.
Jiang Cheng was taken aback, then calmly raised his eyes. He hated this kind of pervert who abused his adopted daughter. He couldn't use conventional methods to deal with this kind of person, and he wouldn't give him the slightest respect.
Ke Bing took a step forward, walking cautiously toward her father.
