Chapter 22 The Inheritance of Chinese Culture

This was recorded in its entirety, and so many people were watching!

Only two people in the audience were sneering; they knew why Jiang Cheng was standing there dumbfounded!

Because the manuscript he had had been switched!

These two people are Qi Feng and Sun Yuchen!

"Add some fuel!" Qi Feng muttered.

Sun Yuchen, the lackey next to him, received an order and casually grabbed a can of chilled Coke from underneath and opened the tab.

He reached his hand behind him, making a throwing motion.

It slammed down hard on Jiang Cheng on the stage!

An accurate parabola!

With a loud "bang!", it landed squarely on Jiang Cheng's suit!

This unexpected situation stunned everyone. The can of Coke hit Jiang Cheng, and foam immediately overflowed, splashing everywhere!

His clothes were soaked!

Jiang Cheng's face was also smeared with cola, and his body instinctively shrank back, lowering his head to shake off the water stains.

"What's going on!"

The head of the teaching department frowned and growled in a low voice.

The students and school leaders never expected this to happen!

The discussions gradually became noisy and started to get out of control.

Jiang Cheng, after a moment of stunned silence, fell silent...

Manuscript, Coca-Cola...

He seemed to understand something.

None of this was a coincidence; someone was deliberately trying to frame him.

Jiang Cheng closed his eyes, exhaled a breath of stale air in frustration, tore off a few blank sheets of paper, and slowly and methodically wiped his clothes and cheeks under the watchful eyes of everyone.

After wiping, his heart gradually calmed down, and the previous panic subsided.

"Fine, you want to embarrass me, huh?"

Jiang Cheng's heart gradually grew cold, while his outward appearance became increasingly relaxed.

He crumpled the water-stained manuscript into a ball, put it in his pocket, and returned to the microphone.

The audience was stunned! Even the school leaders were puzzled.

You've ruined your speech draft, so you're not going to give the speech?

"Thank you to the classmate who brought me the Coke. I know it must be tough to give a speech in this heat, so I'm very grateful for your consideration," Jiang Cheng said with a smile.

The entire room was astonished!

No one could have imagined that this would be his next move!

Anyone could see that what was thrown at him wasn't out of consideration; it was clearly meant to tell him to get out of there!

How could someone remain calm and composed while expressing their gratitude in this situation?

"As you can see, the banner on our stage is about the inheritance of Chinese culture. Today, I would like to discuss with you my understanding of Chinese culture."

He spoke at a measured pace, explaining things in a gentle and detailed manner.

The students in the audience were utterly shocked!

Is this a plan to give a speech without notes?

"I have always been a person with a strong sense of national pride. In my eyes, the Chinese people have the spirit of 'Why shouldn't a man carry a sword and conquer fifty states beyond the passes?'"

Jiang Cheng's expression was serious, as if he had suddenly gotten into the zone.

Today, he's going to improvise!

Who cares about the manuscript! Just say what you want to say!

National pride! Why even think about it beforehand!

Every son and daughter of China can speak eloquently!

"We possess the heroic spirit of 'If only we had General Li Guang, the Flying General of Longcheng, we would never dare to let the barbarian horses cross the Yin Mountains!'"

"We have a message that Han Xingquan does not understand; I offer my blood to Xuanyuan, a scholar's passionate blood!"

"We believe that wherever the sun and moon shine, it is all Han territory. The entire land is filled with the glorious splendor of the king and his subjects!"

Jiang Cheng's tone became increasingly impassioned, using timeless verses that even a three-year-old could recite to express his thoughts.

"In my eyes, Chinese culture is a culture that understands humility; in my eyes, Chinese culture is a culture worthy of respect!"

"When I open the history books, I see how many famous and extraordinary people have passed on our culture!"

"If the heavens had not given birth to Confucius, the world would have remained in darkness forever."

"Shang Yang, a reformer whose achievements will last for millennia and whose policies will be implemented without fail!"

"There was Qin Shi Huang, the First Emperor of Qin, who swept across the land and never forgot his ambition to unify the world!"

"There was Xin Qiji, a man of both literary and military talent, who would examine his sword by lamplight while drunk and dream of bugles echoing through the camps!"

"Sima Qian was a man who investigated the relationship between heaven and humanity, understood the changes of the past and present, and established his own school of thought!"

"They told us how our culture should be passed down."

The murmurs below the stage gradually subsided, and even the school leaders became serious, with no one whispering anymore.

"We are not fools who have lived through thousands of years and no one cares about the voices of the dead; we are brave people who learn from history and grow stronger."

"The five thousand years of Chinese culture is comparable to any civilization in the world. We are giving civilization to time, not time to civilization!"

"The Great Wall, stretching for thousands of miles, is a testament to our resistance against foreign aggression."

"We are strong but not bullying, powerful but not domineering! With swords drawn, we dispel the clouds, and all the feudal lords come to the west!!"

"In the heart of the Qin Plain, spanning eight hundred li, we observe the legacy of the Qin Dynasty, which, after six generations of succession, wielded its long-term strategies to govern the world! Its might shook the land and its power resounded throughout the four seas."

!

"Do you know how many foreign tribes have bowed down and submitted to our Chinese civilization!"

Jiang Cheng's words were eloquent and his tone was unwavering.

"Five thousand years have passed, and who are our old rivals left on the chessboard? Everyone should have the answer in their hearts."

"As a descendant of the Chinese nation and a pioneer of the new generation, I, as an ordinary student, hope that the wings of the Chinese nation will flourish like a forest, and that the culture of the Chinese nation will have a long and rich history!"
