"I'll kill you, I'll definitely kill you." Clearly, the slap had stunned Jiang Lu, causing her to break down completely. This made Bai Yueyue think that the other party might very well say: "My parents have never hit me."
"Slap!" Another slap landed, this time not only symmetrically on Jiang Lu's face, but also jolted her awake.
"Sorcery! You're a monster!" Jiang Lu was so frightened she lost her voice. The other party could slap her from more than ten meters away. What else could this be but sorcery? "Quick, everyone, attack together and chop off her limbs!"
Jiang Lu's followers looked at each other, none of them daring to step forward. After all, you said the other party was a monster, and they were all high school students, not high monks. They were obviously frightened by the situation.
"You bunch of idiots, do you think she'll let you off the hook if you don't go for it?" Jiang Lu was furious with these people; they were clearly there to cause trouble.
"She's right, I'm here to beat you up." Bai Yueyue's voice was light and cheerful, but to these people, it sounded like a devil's death knell.
Finally, someone couldn't take it anymore and rushed up. Bai Yueyue simply slapped that person against the wall.
"Who else?! I'll take on ten of them!" Faced with Bai Yueyue's arrogant attitude, the group didn't dare utter a single word, which annoyed Bai Yueyue. These people weren't cooperating at all. Then, "You looked at me! Wow, you actually yelled at me! You're asking for a beating!"
The person Bai Yueyue pointed at stared wide-eyed, pointing at himself: "Huh? Me?"
But no sooner had he finished speaking than Bai Yueyue slapped him against the wall again. Then, like a wolf among sheep, Bai Yueyue slapped each of them against the wall, making them impossible to remove.
However, Bai Yueyue was still kind; she only made them unable to take care of themselves for the next week.
In the end, only Jiang Lu was left. Her hands trembled as she gripped the knife, and she threatened in a terrified, trembling voice, "You, you monster, don't come any closer!"
"I've already said I'm not a monster. Are there monsters this good-looking? Also, I don't like your hair. It lowers my overall image." Bai Yueyue crushed Jiang Lu's knife in her hand.
Jiang Lu then rolled her eyes back and fainted before Bai Yueyue could make a move.
"Are you trying to scam me? You're so cowardly, yet you dare to be so arrogant." Bai Yueyue didn't care, and she even slapped Jiang Lu twice.
Although I came here to fight—no, to beat someone up—the other party didn't put up any resistance, making me look like a fool for coming all this way. They're not even as honest and kind as the people in my own city, who at least know to use guns and cannons to bombard me.
Then Bai Yueyue looked at the girl on the ground who was still bleeding and sobbing.
Bai Yueyue knelt down and helped her up, gently hugging her and whispering, "It's alright now, no one will bully you anymore."
"Um... um, thank you, thank you." It took a long time for the girl to stop crying.
"What's your name?" Bai Yueyue asked, carefully placing her hand on the other person's face, using her gentle magic to heal the wounds on their body.
"Liu Shuyi," the other person said timidly, "You, you should run! Jiang Lu's family is very rich, she will definitely take revenge on you."
Bai Yueyue found it amusing that the other person was already in such a sorry state, yet still wanted her to run away.
"And what about you? Aren't you going to run?" Bai Yueyue finally asked.
Liu Shuyi fell silent and lowered her head: "I, I'm fine. I'll just wait another year until Jiang Lu leaves."
Liu Shuyi certainly wanted to run away, but her family's situation simply did not allow her to transfer schools like Nianxin, and her older sister was still receiving treatment in the hospital.
Bai Yueyue used her index finger to lift the other person's head, making the other person look directly at her, but Liu Shuyi obviously didn't dare, her eyes constantly darting away.
"Look at me," Bai Yueyue said in a gentle but firm voice. Only then did Liu Shuyi dare to look at the silver-haired girl in front of her like a startled hamster.
Seeing Liu Shuyi looking at her, Bai Yueyue continued, "I won't run away. Now that I'm here, you'll never be bullied again."
“But…” Liu Shuyi was still worried. After all, Jiang Lu had a really bad reputation at her school. It wasn’t that no one dared to defy her, but the person was crippled the next day.
Jiang Lu is very cunning. She would never provoke someone of higher status than herself, and she often gives gifts to teachers, which makes those above her unwilling to deal with her, while those below her can only be bullied by her. Even if the police are called, Jiang Lu's parents will bribe them to stay out of it.
"My little darling, trust me." Bai Yueyue's voice left Liu Shuyi speechless with doubt.
"Hmm..." Liu Shuyi nodded gently, and Bai Yueyue then withdrew her hand.
"Alright, you can go now. I need to clean up this mess," Bai Yueyue said.
Liu Shuyi was initially a little worried, but when she looked into Bai Yueyue's eyes, she felt inexplicably at ease.
"Then, can you tell me your name?" Liu Shuyi asked cautiously. "Of course, it's okay if you don't tell me."
“The silver-haired witch,” Bai Yueyue said.
"Okay, wait a minute! Ah! You're the Silver-Haired Witch! You're not photoshopped!"
Clearly, many people still see Bai Yueyue as a result of hype or simply don't believe in her existence. After all, this is the first time Bai Yueyue has come to another city as the Silver-Haired Witch. People in other cities have never actually seen Bai Yueyue; they can only see her on their phones and televisions.
"Thank you! Although you may not need it, I will definitely help you if you ever need my help in the future," Liu Shuyi said. "Also, can I add you on WeChat?"
