Chapter 48 Grandparents are coming

"Hey, Seven, why are you so late? Were you trapped by that silver-haired witch? What, do you want me to come help you?" In this almost isolated space, a group of people sat down early. Among them, a red-haired woman who looked to be around 27 years old asked the girl who had just arrived, while painting her nails.

"Four, you'd better shut up if you don't want me to pluck all your hair out." The woman called Seven didn't even glance at him and went straight to her seat.

Seven looked around. This almost airtight space had only ten seats, representing their ten core members. Including himself, all ten members from three to nine were already there. One and two, needless to say, were definitely coming. But…

Seven turned her gaze to the empty seat of Ten. She had never seen Ten before, and Ten had never attended such meetings. She really didn't know how One could tolerate it.

"Hmm? Are you going to fight?" Four's eyes flickered, while Seven waved his hand in front of his eyes.

Then he stood up, pointed seven fingers at four, and faint lightning crackled at his fingertips: "Don't bother me with your little tricks."

Seven's words enraged Four, who, in a fit of anger, slammed his fist on the table and stood up, instantly creating a tense atmosphere. Everyone else quietly moved away from the two of them.

"Wow, let's fight! I've been wanting to see people fight for ages!" A little boy, about a meter tall, clapped his hands and laughed.

"Enough, you two shut up. And you, Eight, stop stirring things up." In this situation, accompanied by an irrefutable voice, a black figure flashed by and pressed Four and Seven into their seats at the same time.

Then the shadowy figure disappeared, and two men entered one after the other.

"Second, you're too rough! It hurts so much!" Fourth Sister, pinned to her seat, glared at the man in black standing behind her.

The second response was a smile: "Sorry, this was something I was asked to do."

"Stop messing around. As for the fourth and seventh parties, I gave you all orders not to interfere. If you have any objections, come and talk to me after this meeting. Now, let's begin the meeting," he said coldly after taking his seat.

"Tch, fine, fine." Four looked helpless, but she didn't dare to say anything to One. Everyone, including Seven, sat down obediently.

"Alright, next, Seven will report on the progress of the Silver-Haired Witch Project."

"Yes." At One's command, Seven stood up. "Regarding the Silver-Haired Witch, she's essentially a high school student living in a sheltered environment. She doesn't have a particularly strong sense of vigilance and acts very emotionally. Therefore, as long as we gain her trust, we can easily control and supervise her. So I..."

If Bai Yueyue were here, she would be heartbroken. Does she look that stupid?

Of course, if Xiaoya were here, she would definitely nod in agreement; that's just how stupid she is!

Bai Yueyue, on the other hand, is also facing a big problem.

After dealing with the "little tiger," Bai Yueyue thought that Li Jieyue had been very busy lately, so she bought some roadside food on the way back. She had done this many times in the past few days, so it was fine.

So, when Bai Yueyue reached the door and saw the open door, she was startled and triggered something.

Looking at the food from the roadside stall in his hand, he quietly took two steps back and finished eating it in two or three bites.

"Hey, Yueyue, if you were photographed looking like this, you'd definitely lose a lot of fans," Xiaoya said disdainfully, looking at Bai Yueyue who had taken out a piece of paper.

"How could that be? I'm the world's number one beautiful girl! They'll just call me a stupid, gluttonous beautiful girl. That's cute, you know?" As a beautiful girl, how could Bai Yueyue accept being told that her appearance was shameful? So, she accidentally raised her voice.

Then……

"Don't make noise at the door, come in quickly."

Ah, Mom's voice is as gentle as ever, though it would be even better if the anger in her tone wasn't so obvious!

With no other option, Bai Yueyue gritted her teeth and went inside.

As soon as I entered the house, I saw that not only Li Jieyue, but also Bai Zhenhao had returned.

Both of them looked exhausted, and Li Jieyue's anger was quite obvious.

When she met Bai Zhenhao's gaze, she wanted to ask him what was wrong with Li Jieyue, but then she saw Bai Zhenhao frantically gesturing for Bai Yueyue to leave.

"Well, Mother, goodnight. I'm going to wash up and go to bed." The unspoken understanding between father and daughter allowed Bai Yueyue to immediately grasp Bai Zhenhao's meaning.

"Stop!" Li Jieyue's voice rang out.

Bai Yueyue trembled with fright, then turned around stiffly like a puppet, meeting Li Jieyue's gaze, whose background seemed to be filled with a blizzard. Bai Yueyue swallowed hard.

"Bai Yueyue, what time is it now?" Li Jieyue didn't yell, but looked at Bai Yueyue gently. But why is it so cold? It's winter, why not turn on the air conditioner at home!

"Ten...ten o'clock twelve!" Bai Yueyue straightened up, glanced at the alarm clock on the wall, and replied in a trembling voice... "Wanla!"

"Hmm, how long is the curfew I gave you?" Li Jieyue stood up and approached Bai Yueyue with a kind smile.

"9:30..." Bai Yueyue completely softened. She would rather fight a group of thugs than face Li Jieyue like this.

"Good, it seems you still remember. Also, don't just wipe your mouth while you eat, because you smell quite strong too..."

Maru-la, absolutely Maru-la!

"ah!"

Half an hour later, Bai Yueyue wished she could lock herself in her room, cry and become a machine focused solely on studying, then refuse to eat or drink, making Li Jieyue look worried.

Of course, Bai Yueyue would never do that. Despite Bai Yueyue's appearance, Li Jieyue's education of Bai Yueyue, especially after she became a girl, was excellent.
