Mo Chi's face darkened, and he looked at Qi Hang warily. He had to keep a close eye on Chu Rou now and not let Qi Hang use the excuse of being his savior to get close to Chu Rou.
Qi Wende glanced at the file folder in Qi Hang's hand. "Have the results come out yet?"
"It's out." Qi Hang handed the file folder to Qi Wende.
Qi Wende took the document out of the file folder and flipped to the last conclusion: the parent-child relationship is confirmed.
This result was within his expectations, but after it was confirmed, Qi Wende was still deeply shocked. He silently put the appraisal report back into the file folder.
He turned to look at Qi Hang, "Have you seen the results?"
Qi Hang nodded; he had accepted the outcome.
He looked at Chu Rou. Perhaps it was their blood relation that made him find Chu Rou particularly pleasing to the eye and made him fall in love with her.
Turning his crush into his older sister might be a good thing. He could now stand openly by Chu Rou's side and have a legitimate reason to protect her.
