Chapter 241 Chu Zhuzhu, Goodnight!
Chu Rou and Mo Chi left the hotel, found a restaurant for dinner, and returned to the villa after dark.
Mo Chi was full of energy, while Chu Rou felt aches and her legs were weak.
Qi Hang had already returned and told Chu Weize what had happened that day.
After listening, Chu Weize tapped his fingers on the table, his eyes dark and unfathomable. After a long while, he finally spoke, "The Song family needs to bleed a little. So what if Song Hongyi is unaware? He's the one who doesn't discipline his daughter properly."
"The affair between him and Aunt Zhuang is quite surprising. Aunt Zhuang has been hiding in the Qi family for so many years, and Song Hongyi has been looking for her for so many years. He probably never expected that she was in City B."
Qi Hang asked in bewilderment, "Why doesn't Aunt Zhuang go to Song Hongyi? Why does she have to raise the child alone and live such a hard life?"
Chu Weize glanced at his son and said, "Aunt Zhuang went to see the married Song Hongyi. What right do you expect her to have? A woman kept on the side?"
Qi Hang raised an eyebrow. He hadn't considered this aspect. From a man's perspective, especially in wealthy circles, it's common for men to keep several women on the side, and their wives usually turn a blind eye.
However, their family is rather special. His father married into the family and always kept a mask on, so there were all sorts of rumors about him. As a result, few women came up to him, and his father had no interest in women outside the family. He focused all his attention on his career.
Having grown up in this environment, Qi Hang has always been chaste and never slept with women. The only woman who moved his heart was Chu Rou, who turned out to be his own sister.
But in his subconscious, there are a few women who are not wrong. "Isn't it good to be kept? Except for not having a formal title, you don't lack anything else."
Chu Weize leaned back in his chair, looking coldly at Qi Hang. "You think there's no problem? What if Mo Chi kept Chu Rou outside without giving her a proper status? Would you still think there's no problem then? How do you think Rou Rou would react?"
Qi Hang was stunned. If Mo Chi dared not give Chu Rou a proper title, he would definitely beat her so badly that she couldn't take care of herself.
Thinking of his sister Chu Rou's skills, it seems that he doesn't even need to lift a finger; she will probably do it herself!
"If Mo Chi does something like that, he'll be confined to a wheelchair for the rest of his life."
Chu Weize nodded. "So you're being hypocritical. You can't refuse to give your sister a formal title, but other girls are fine? Everyone is born and raised by their parents. Even if the girl agrees, what will your wife think?"
"Given the current development of the Qi family and the relationship between your sister and Mo Chi, there is no need for you to arrange a marriage. I hope you can find a girl you like to marry."
"Since you have married the woman you love, you must be loyal to your wife and your family."
Qi Hang doesn't have a woman he loves right now, so he doesn't quite understand what Chu Weize is saying, but he still listens to it. "Dad, I understand. I've never been interested in women anyway."
Chu Weize hummed in agreement. He was quite satisfied with Qi Hang in this respect. "I see that you've been in a pretty stable mood lately. You should go home and see your mother. The divorce is between her and me. It has nothing to do with you. She doesn't owe you anything."
Qi Hang lowered his head, his voice deep, "I understand, I'll go home tomorrow."
The two came out of the study and saw Chu Rou and Mo Chi returning.
Seeing Chu Rou's tired expression, Chu Weize and Qi Hang simultaneously glared at Mo Chi.
Mo Chi completely ignored the cold looks from his father-in-law and brother-in-law, and greeted them with a smile, "Dad, Xiao Hang, you're all here!"
Chu Weize turned his gaze to Chu Rou with a blank expression. "Rou Rou, Dad will get justice for you today."
Chu Rou pondered what had happened today. "Was it Deng Fei and Song Miao? Mo Chi said he would handle it."
Chu Weize glanced at Mo Chi again, his eyes even colder. "Mo Chi, can you handle this?"
Mo Chi's eyes darted around. "I'm young and inexperienced. If Dad can step in, he'll definitely do a better job than me."
"Hmm," Chu Weize's expression softened a bit, "You must be tired too, go back to your rooms and rest!"
Chu Rou returned to her bedroom and collapsed onto the sofa, exclaiming, "I'm exhausted!"
Mo Chi sat down next to her, trying to please her by massaging her legs and shoulders, saying, "My wife, you've worked so hard."
Chu Rou closed her eyes and enjoyed Mo Chi's service. "Oh no, I didn't drink my medicine today."
Mo Chi's subordinate paused for a moment, then cleared his throat guiltily. "You've been drinking this for over a week. We'll go to Elder Bai's for a follow-up appointment tomorrow."
Chu Rou thought the same thing. Her eyelids started to droop, and she didn't want to move at all. "Mo Bao, I want to sleep, but I don't want to move!"
"Honey, I'll carry you to bed!"
Mo Chi carried Chu Rou from the sofa to the bed, helped her take off her clothes and change into pajamas. Throughout the process, Chu Rou was like a doll, letting Mo Chi do whatever he wanted with her.
Chu Rou fell asleep the moment her head touched the pillow.
Mo Chi changed his clothes, crawled into bed, and found that Chu Rou was already asleep. He propped his head up with his hand and looked at her with fascination.
She was breathing in and out with her mouth slightly open, snoring softly; she was clearly exhausted.
Mo Chi liked her more and more as he looked at her. He tapped Chu Rou's nose with his finger and whispered, "Goodnight, Chu Zhuzhu!"
...
The next day.
After a night's rest, Chu Rou's body and spirit recovered, and she was full of energy for another day.
Mo Chi wasn't with me; I don't know where he went.
After washing up and changing her clothes, Chu Rou went downstairs.
After finishing her breakfast, she still hadn't seen Mo Chi, so she took out her phone and sent him a message asking where he was.
Mo Chi came out of the study, went downstairs to Chu Rou's side, and asked, "Wife, are you awake?"
Chu Rou looked up and asked in surprise, "Where did you come from?"
"I was discussing something with Dad in the study. I didn't expect you to be up so early," Mo Chi sat down next to Chu Rou, put his arm around her waist, and whispered in her ear, "Does it still hurt down there?"
Chu Rou had been thoroughly exhausted by Mo Chi yesterday, and her lower body was a little red and swollen. Being asked so directly made Chu Rou blush. She glanced around and, thankfully, no one was around. She pinched Mo Chi's waist and said, "How dare you ask such a question!"
"Hiss..." Mo Chi gasped, "Wife, please have mercy! I was wrong!"
"Hmph!" Chu Rou released her grip. "Have you finished discussing things with my dad? When are you coming with me for my follow-up appointment?"
"We've already discussed it, let's go to Elder Bai's place now."
Mo Chi also regretted his actions yesterday. It was He Wei's behavior that made him act impulsively. The thought of hurting Chu Rou's body filled him with immense self-reproach.
Mo Chi took Chu Rou to Elder Bai's clinic, where he had Qin Feng make an appointment the night before.
With his eyes closed, Old Bai stroked his beard as he took Chu Rou's pulse. His fingers twitched slightly, and his brows furrowed involuntarily.
He opened his eyes and asked, "Is there any medicine left from the last prescription?"
“Yes, there’s enough for several days,” Chu Rou said, taking a bag out of her bag. “I keep a bag in my bag every day just in case.”
Old Bai tore open the medicine packet, poured it into a teacup, and smelled it. His brows furrowed, but quickly relaxed.
