Chapter 62 Rou Rou, Never Leave Me

Chapter 62 Rou Rou, Never Leave Me

"I'm not leaving!" Mo Chi hugged Chu Rou. "Wife, I need to explain things to you."

Chu Rou was held tightly by Mo Chi, and she sneered, "I'm not worthy to be your wife, I'm just a little assistant."

"Qi Hang's family and our family have a very good relationship." Mo Chi buried his head in Chu Rou's chest, took a deep breath, and exclaimed, "So fragrant!"

"If he knew about our relationship, our whole family would know."

Chu Rou became even angrier upon hearing this. "So, you never intended to marry me at all, did you? You just wanted to play around with me, didn't you?"

"How could I possibly treat you like that!" Mo Chi hurriedly explained, "Our family situation is a bit special."

"As you can guess, my family is quite wealthy. My father is very assertive, while my mother is more easygoing and doesn't compete or fight for anything."

Chu Rou was puzzled, "What are you fighting over or grabbing for at home?"

Mo Chi remained silent for a long time before slowly speaking, "I have two older brothers, half-brothers."

"To be precise, my father had three sons with three women."

Um... Chu Rou blinked her big eyes. Mo Chi's family situation was indeed a bit complicated.

"Then your mother is..." Chu Rou wanted to ask Mo Chi's mother if she had a formal title, but she couldn't bring herself to say it.

Mo Chi understood what Chu Rou meant: "My father only married my mother after my elder brother's mother passed away."

Chu Rou nodded, thankfully Mo Chi wasn't an illegitimate child.

"Wait a minute!" Chu Rou sensed something was off. "Didn't you just say you have two older brothers? Where did your second brother come from? Where's his mother?"

“My second brother and the others didn’t get promoted,” Mo Chi continued to explain, “It’s because of the existence of them, mother and son, that our family conflicts are so intense.”

Chu Rou seemed to understand yet not quite, "You mean your second brother wants to make more money?"

Mo Chi nodded, which was pretty much the gist of it. He looked at Chu Rou with a wronged expression, "Rou Rou, my second brother and his mother are really bad. They will do anything for profit. I'm afraid they will do something to harm you."

Chu Rou wavered, "But they'll find out sooner or later, won't they? Do you intend to hide me forever?"

"Of course not. You know how hard I've worked. Give me some more time to become stronger so I can protect you from all dangers. Then I'll let everyone witness our love."

Mo Chi spoke sincerely, and Chu Rou touched his head, "Then how long are you going to make me wait? Will you really marry me?"

Mo Chi needs time to grow, but how long can she wait? It can't be another five years, can it? How many more five-year periods does she have left to wait?

Mo Chi sensed the change in Chu Rou's emotions and promised, "We'll get married in half a month, but I can't take you home for the time being."

"Three years! I need three years. I'll give you a grand wedding in three years."

Mo Chi let Chu Rou sit on his lap and stroked her face. "Rou Rou, is that alright?"

Chu Rou's eyes welled up with tears, and she bit her lower lip. Heaven knows how she got through the past two days.

With a sob in her voice, she asked, "You're not lying to me?"

Mo Chi kissed away Chu Rou's tears, a bitter and astringent feeling, knowing that his Rou Rou must feel the same way.

Mo Chi raised his hand and swore: "If I lied to Chu Rou, may I be struck by lightning, burned to death, drowned, or..."

Chu Rou used her mouth to stop the words that Mo Chi was about to say.

Mo Chi passionately returned Chu Rou's kiss. He missed her so much; his heart felt empty after two days apart from her.

He didn't know if this was love, but he couldn't live without Chu Rou.

Only he knew how much it hurt him when Chu Rou ignored him.

In front of her, his pride and dignity were nothing; he just wanted to lie in her arms and hear her softly call him "Mo Bao".

The two were consumed by lust, like dry tinder meeting a raging fire, ready to ignite at any moment.

Mo Chi picked up Chu Rou and carried her to the bedroom.

"Rou Rou...wife..." Mo Chi kept calling Chu Rou's name, "Please never leave me, okay?"

“Okay,” Chu Rou tried her best to match Mo Chi’s rhythm, “I want to have a baby for Mo Bao!”

Mo Chi kissed Chu Rou's little lips, "Let's start having a baby today!"

Mo Chi and Chu Rou's baby-making mission has begun.

...

After their tender moment, Chu Rou lay in Mo Chi's arms, resting with her eyes closed. Mo Chi had been holding back for two days, and his exertion was so intense that Chu Rou was somewhat overwhelmed.

Mo Chi felt physically refreshed, but still felt a bit aggrieved. So he started teasing Chu Rou again.

Chu Rou opened her eyes, wanting to get away from him, and turned her back to Mo Chi. "Stop messing around, I'm still tired!"

Mo Chi leaned down and gently bit her earlobe. "What's wrong with Shen Yan? You don't want him to take my place, do you?"

Chu Rou turned around and glared at him, "What nonsense are you spouting!"

“Last night, Uncle Shen called me and asked me to take care of Shen Yan, saying that he often doesn’t eat on time and has developed stomach problems from hunger.”

"That's why I invited Brother Shen Yan over for breakfast."

Mo Chi frowned. "How can I let you do something like this!"

He picked up his phone from the bedside table, found Huang Shan's number, and dialed it directly.

It rang several times before the other end answered, "What is it? You're disturbing my studies, don't you know that?!"

Mo Chi muttered to himself, "This isn't the time to pursue him. He's so impatient when he answers the phone now." Without wasting words, he said, "Shen Yan has a stomach problem and doesn't eat on time. This is your chance to shine."

"Huh?" Huang Shan hadn't reacted yet. "I'm not going to study anymore?"

“What’s the use of just studying?” Mo Chi pressed his nose. He was really fed up with Huang Shan. She was so single-minded. “You have to hang around in front of him all the time. I doubt he even knows you anymore.”

"Oh!" Huang Shan asked again, "Then what excuse should I use to approach him?"

Mo Chi was at his wit's end. In order to eliminate a love rival, he could only patiently give Huang Shan some advice: "Aren't you studying law? Take your books and go ask him questions when you have free time. I'll send you the location of his law firm and his phone number in a bit."

Mo Chi hung up the phone and sighed, "If it weren't for me, Huang Shan would probably be single for life."

Chu Rou was stunned by Mo Chi's outrageous move. "You just sold out Brother Shen Yan like that? What if he doesn't like Huang Shan?"

Mo Chi didn't care about that at all and casually said, "It's like climbing a mountain for a man to pursue a woman, but it's like piercing a thin veil for a woman to pursue a man."

Chu Rou scoffed, "Huang Shan chased after you, but she didn't win you over!"

After sending a message to Huang Shan, Mo Chi smiled and hugged Chu Rou, "That depends on who's pursuing me. If you're pursuing me, I'll just agree, won't I?"

"When did I start pursuing you?" Chu Rou asked, her eyes wide.

Mo Chi stroked his chin. "The first time we slept together, you seduced me. It seems like the first time we kissed was also initiated by you."

Chu Rou hesitated for a long time, unable to say a word. It seemed that it really was she who had taken the initiative.

Just then, Mo Chi's phone rang. He picked it up and glanced at it; it was Qi Hang calling.

"Mo Chi, let's get together at Zhuoling Manor tonight, and I'll introduce you to a few of the shareholders."

Mo Chi wanted to transfer the shares of Zhuoling Manor to Chu Rou. After hanging up the phone, he said, "Rou Rou, come with me to Zhuoling Manor tonight."

Chu Rou:......

That place is her nightmare, okay?
