Chapter 1: The Real and Fake Young Masters Are Indistinguishable
It was already late, but the lights in the room were as bright as day.
He Wei gently kissed Chu Rou's lips and wrapped his arms around her.
As their lips intertwined, Chu Rou felt He Wei's embrace tighten and noticed the changes in his body.
Chu Rou was a little nervous. In their five years of dating, He Wei had only ever kissed her, and nothing more.
They agreed to get their marriage certificate tomorrow, with the wedding scheduled for three months later.
Chu Rou thought that she wouldn't refuse He Wei if he wanted it.
She closed her eyes, waiting for He Wei's next move, but He Wei released her.
He kissed her cheek and whispered in Chu Rou's ear in a low, husky voice, "Rou Rou, it's getting late. I'll head back now. I'll come pick you up tomorrow morning to go to the Civil Affairs Bureau."
“He Wei,” Chu Rou stopped He Wei from leaving, “you can actually stay, we’re going to register our marriage tomorrow anyway.”
He Wei smiled indulgently and pinched Chu Rou's nose. "What, can't wait? Tomorrow night, I'll let you call me husband in bed."
Chu Rou blushed instantly. She pushed He Wei toward the door, saying, "Let's go, it's getting dark, drive carefully."
After seeing He Wei off, Chu Rou sat alone on the sofa, covering her face and giggling to herself. Tomorrow she would become Mrs. He.
Chu Rou opened the hidden photo album on her phone, which contained snippets of her and He Wei's lives over the past five years.
He Wei was her senior, two years ahead of her. They met in a school club. At that age when love was just beginning to blossom, He Wei confessed his feelings to her, and she agreed without hesitation.
He Wei is tall, handsome, and talented; he is the dream lover of every girl in the university.
Chu Rou felt very lucky to have caught He Wei's eye and to have gained his favor.
She flipped through the photos one by one, reminiscing about the wonderful times they spent together.
In these photos, besides her and He Wei, there is occasionally another person who appears: her best friend He Yin.
He Yin was her college roommate and her closest friend. Chu Rou, adhering to the principle of sharing everything, sent He Yin the news that she and He Wei were going to get their marriage certificate the next day.
He Yin, who usually replies to messages instantly, has been silent for a long time today.
Chu Rou held her phone for a long time, and just as she was about to put it down, a voice call invitation came in. Chu Rou looked at it and, sure enough, it was He Yin calling.
Chu Rou smiled and pressed the answer button. Just as she was about to speak, He Yin's charming voice came from the phone:
"Honey, did you just come from Rou Rou's place?"
"Take off all your clothes and lie down properly, then stop talking nonsense."
Chu Rou felt as if her heart was being squeezed, and she felt a tightness in her chest. It was He Wei's voice; she couldn't be mistaken.
What followed was a sound that made Chu Rou want to vomit.
Chu Rou hung up the voice call and sat up straight on the sofa.
Betrayed by both her boyfriend and best friend, Chu Rou felt as if she had fallen into an icy abyss.
Why?
Why is He Wei going to marry her tomorrow, yet he went to sleep with He Yin today?
Judging from their tone of voice, this wasn't the first or second time, yet she knew nothing about it.
She didn't know if they were too good at pretending, or if she was blind, or if she trusted them too much.
"I'm such a fucking idiot!"
Chu Rou wanted to slap herself, but then she thought that she wasn't the one who made the mistake, and if anyone should be hit, it should be that scumbag couple.
In a fit of anger, Chu Rou deleted all the photos she had just looked at and blocked all of He Wei and He Yin's contact information.
She stood up and paced around the house, her anger growing stronger and stronger. If this continued, Chu Rou felt she would be driven mad with rage.
She picked up her car keys and went out.
Chu Rou drove around and around on the road, but her chest still felt tight. She parked her car in front of a bar.
She had never been to a bar before, but He Wei wouldn't allow it.
He Wei forbade her to drink alcohol, go out at night, have contact with other men, or make too many friends, fearing that her social circle would be too chaotic. Therefore, she only had one friend, He Yin.
She thought He Wei cared about her, but now that she thinks about it, he just treated her like a canary kept in a cage.
In the past five years, she has tried to please He Wei and become the kind of person he likes. She has almost forgotten what she is really like.
Her life is a joke, it's fucking hilarious!
She was going to do everything He Wei forbade her to do!
Chu Rou got out of the car and walked into the bar that looked pretty good.
Once inside the bar, Chu Rou's eyes were glued to the scene. The lights were dazzling, and scantily clad beauties were dancing seductively on stage. The intensely rhythmic music inexplicably excited her.
It was already late autumn, but the girls in the bar were showing off their shoulders, waists, and thighs. Chu Rou looked down at her own sweater and jeans, feeling completely out of place.
She found an empty table in the corner and sat down. The waiter brought her the drink menu, and Chu Rou ordered whichever looked good. She ordered three cocktails in total.
The waiter quickly brought over the drinks and also gave her a small plate of snacks.
Chu Rou picked up a glass of wine and took a sip. It tasted like sweet and sour sparkling water, and it was very delicious.
She took sips of wine while keeping her eyes glued to the performance on stage. She quickly finished three glasses of wine, but still felt she hadn't had enough, so she called the waiter over and ordered two more.
Chu Rou thought she was well hidden by sitting in the corner, but little did she know that she was a conspicuous person there. Her pure and innocent appearance, sweet looks, and most importantly, being alone, made her a target for people very quickly.
A middle-aged man with a buzz cut, wearing a short-sleeved shirt and with tattoos all over his arms, walked over and sat down opposite Chu Rou, holding a wine glass.
"The little girl is all alone?"
Chu Rou looked up and saw the man opposite her. He didn't look like a good person at all. She frowned in disgust. "Move over, this is my seat."
The man wasn't angry. "You're so lonely all by yourself. Wouldn't it be better if I kept you company while we drank?"
"No need!" Chu Rou picked up her wine glass and took a sip.
Just then, the man flicked a pill into Chu Rou's other glass of wine, his technique practiced and completely undetectable.
After taking a sip of her drink, Chu Rou saw that the man was still there, so she slammed her glass down on the table. "Didn't you hear me tell you to get out of here?"
The man raised an eyebrow. "She's got a fiery temper. Interesting." He stood up. "Call me if you need anything. I'm always ready."
Chu Rou rolled her eyes and ignored him.
Chu Rou drank both glasses of wine and her mind was still quite clear. It turns out that she has a pretty good alcohol tolerance!
She wanted two more drinks, but suddenly realized that her body was very hot. Could it be that the alcohol was having an adverse effect?
Her breathing became rapid and her body felt empty. Belatedly, Chu Rou realized that this was not a reaction to being drunk.
Chu Rou lacked experience but wasn't stupid. She guessed it was the crew-cut man from earlier. He was the only one who had approached her, so he must have drugged her when she wasn't paying attention.
She wanted to leave while she was still relatively sober, but found the crew-cut man standing at the door, clearly trying to ambush her. Unfortunately, she was too weak to move!
FUCK!
Chu Rou turned her head and saw the stairs. She picked up her things and went upstairs.

Mo Chi, the young master of the Mo family in City B.
To avoid internal family competition, he concealed his identity and came to City C to attend university.
Although he left City B, he still needed to receive inside information regularly, and he also had his own companies and businesses.
He arranged to meet his assistant at a bar today.
After finishing their business, Mo Chi and his men left the private room.
"Just do things the way we just discussed. Don't contact me unless it's absolutely necessary," Mo Chi instructed.
"Yes, young master."
The assistant bowed and left.
Mo Chi took out his smart glasses from his pocket, put them on, and prepared to leave.
As they reached the door of the adjacent private room, Mo Chi was suddenly pulled inside.
The private room was dark, with the lights off. Mo Chi switched his glasses to night vision mode and could see everything clearly inside.
The woman who pulled him in had shoulder-length hair, large, round almond-shaped eyes, a flushed face, and a slightly open mouth.
She asked breathlessly, "Are you a hostess?"
Mochi:......
