Nancy glanced at the time Chu Rou sent the message; just ten minutes had passed.
She replied: 【Chu Rou, where are you?】
Chu Rou received Nancy's message and excitedly replied: 【We're at the hotel. The assistant from yesterday brought the inkstone over.】

After hanging up the phone, Mo Chi looked up the Thomas family. After reading it, he understood his father's meaning; it was indeed worthwhile to cooperate.
Mo Chi put down his phone. "Rou Rou, what's the relationship between Nancy, whom you mentioned, and the president of Harvey Company?"
This question stumped Chu Rou. Nancy had never mentioned this person to her before. She shook her head, "I don't know!"
"Is this Nancy reliable?" Mo Chi asked again.
This time, Chu Rou nodded affirmatively, "You're reliable, otherwise how did you get out!"
Mo Chi thought about it and agreed. After all, it was a relationship between a man and a woman. Morrison was willing to get him out of trouble because of Nancy's words, so he must value Nancy.
Mo Chi didn't rush to call Morrison. He knew that forcing things wouldn't work, so he decided to wait and see how sincere Morrison was.
He picked Chu Rou up and kissed her. Mo Chi pried open Chu Rou's teeth and kissed her passionately. Chu Rou's mind went blank from the kiss, and she only cared about holding Mo Chi's face in her hands and kissing him passionately.
Mo Chi stopped in time; he couldn't do anything now, or he was afraid he would lose control if he continued.
He put Chu Rou down, resting his chin on her head to calm his breathing. "Rou Rou, did you go to see Old Bai for your follow-up appointment?"
"I went there. Old Bai said I'm much better. I'll be almost fully recovered after another twenty days of this." Chu Rou was also breathing heavily.
"Twenty days left?" Mo Chi began a silent countdown in his mind. Suddenly, a question occurred to him, "Did you bring your medicine?"

Mo Chi stood ramrod straight, his eyes lowered as he listened to Chu Weize's cold words, without offering any rebuttal.
He believed his father-in-law was right; he had underestimated the other party because of his lack of ability, which gave them an opportunity to take advantage of him.
Fortunately, Chu Rou was alright, otherwise he would have no face to live.
Chu Rou couldn't bear to see Mo Chi being wronged, so she stood in front of Mo Chi and said, "Dad, you can't say that about Mo Chi. I flew here because I was in a hurry."
“I asked Nancy beforehand, and she said she would help me, so I secretly followed her here.”
Chu Weize glared at Chu Rou, "You still have the nerve to speak up for him? I haven't even said anything to you yet. Why didn't you discuss such a big thing with me?"
"Don't you trust your father?"
