Chapter 267 The Little Fox Has Been Caught!

She probably thought she was very intimidating, enough to make wild beasts tremble, but little did she know that in the eyes of others, her deliberately fierce appearance was just adorably silly.

After warning the majestic tiger, Su Yuxi slightly raised her proud chin, pointed with her small feet at several plump chickens, a robust wild boar, and three fluffy rabbits. With each order, the tiger's eyes dimmed a little.

The prey that was about to be caught was gone just like that.

In the end, her underlings all got a decent share of the prey, and the few pigeons that no one wanted were for the big tiger.

As the tiger, renowned as the king of the forest, under the intimidating gaze of Su Yuxi, he meekly left the little pigeon behind and dared not utter another complaint.

Given its size, these few pigeons wouldn't even be enough to fill its teeth.

But since it was the last one to arrive, it had to put up with it even if it was unwilling.

Su Yuxi kept two speckled chickens for herself, and divided the rest equally among her underlings, and no one dared to object.

Everyone worked together to drag the food away, and Su Yuxi picked up the head of the speckled chicken and prepared to leave.

She had only taken two steps when she suddenly stopped and turned to look back.

What did she see?

Is this some kind of ghost?

How did she come to see Fu Huaijin standing by a big tree several hundred meters away?

Am I seeing things?

It doesn't seem so.

The man, as beautiful as a painting, really came looking for me.

With a thud, the two chickens in Su Yuxi's mouth fell out.

The children walking ahead all stopped and turned to look at her.

Su Yuxi felt a pang of sadness, tears welling in her eyes. She took off running towards him, but halfway there, she seemed to remember something, stopped in time, turned around, and ran back like a whirlwind.

The animals, unaware of what was happening, panicked at the sight of humans and instinctively grabbed their food and scattered in all directions.

Su Yuxi didn't dare look back. She started her four-wheel drive and ran for her life. She wasn't human anymore; she was a fox. If she got caught, she would be skinned alive.

As she was running, suddenly, with a thud, her head felt like it had hit a wall. Her body was thrown back by a force, and she stumbled a few steps, rolling on the ground. Before she could even stand up, she was picked up by a pair of large hands.

A tender look flickered in the man's eyes as he carefully held her tightly in his arms, as if she were a priceless treasure he had lost and found again.

Su Yuxi covered her head, frowned, and looked up to see Fu Huaijin's angular and handsome face.

She opened her mouth and swore a couple of times, but to others it just sounded like a few soft, coquettish whimpers. Logically, her voice should have the power to bewitch people, but it seemed to have no effect on this man.

This man is really hard to kill. He was so badly injured last time, but now, only a few days later, he's back to his old self. What's up with this man?

"Did you hurt yourself? Are you hungry? I'll take you to find something to eat." Fu Huaijin's expression was normal; he treated her like a precious pet, as if he didn't recognize her at all.

When Su Yuxi heard that Fu Huaijin wanted to take her back, she struggled fiercely, twisting and turning in his arms, calling for her friends to come and save her.

She doesn't want to go back.

But those were just greedy cronies who only cared about food. Faced with such a powerful human, they dared not approach and instead hid to the side to watch, not daring to get close.

Several people were itching to pounce, but Fu Huaijin gave them a sharp glare, and they immediately pulled their heads back.

"Don't move, I'll take you home." Fu Huaijin suppressed the surging emotions in his heart, and carried the struggling little fox step by step back, completely ignoring how the little fox struggled and scratched in his arms, he just wouldn't let go.

Su Yuxi felt incredibly frustrated, unable to break free from this damned man's embrace.

If you don't believe me, try again.

She twisted and turned, rolled around all over... but it didn't work.

Left kick, right hook, and a fierce bite—I'll bite you to death.

In the end, Su Yuxi was exhausted and too tired to struggle anymore. She gave up resisting completely, curled up quietly in his arms, and fell asleep without realizing it.

The embrace was so warm and comfortable that I fell asleep as soon as I closed my eyes, forgetting my plan to escape halfway through the journey.

Inside the carriage, Fu Huaijin gently stroked the little fox's fine fur with his warm palm, his eyes so tender they could melt ice, as if he were looking at his beloved wife.

The driver and bodyguard glanced at it in the rearview mirror and couldn't help but wonder if their master had gone mad, suddenly looking at a fox with such affection.

And wasn't the purpose of the search to find the wife? But they haven't found her yet, so why have they withdrawn the team?

No one knows the answer, and no one dares to ask for it.

Fu Huaijin brought the little fox back to the villa and, under the strange looks of everyone, went straight into the bedroom. He didn't care at all about the dust on her feet and placed the fox on the soft bed so that she could sleep peacefully.

He squatted by the bed, gazing tenderly at the beautiful little fox, his fingers gently rubbing her ears, his joy no longer able to be suppressed.

"I'm sorry... Xixi." Fu Huaijin guessed that the reason she became like this must have been partly because she helped him. If it weren't for her, given the dangerous situation at the time, he might have already died, and there would have been no chance for someone else to save him.

"Xixi, do you feel like you can't appear in front of everyone like this? Don't worry, as long as I'm here, no one will dare to say anything."

In fact, he had guessed long ago that Su Yuxi had been hiding her little secret. She thought she was hiding it very well, but in fact, she had already revealed her true nature without anyone noticing.

For example, every time the pleasure of lovemaking reaches its peak, she will unconsciously reveal her little tail. Although she can quickly retract it, how can these little actions hide them from her husband?

He didn't want to put pressure on her, so he didn't expose her.

"Since you don't want me to know, then I'll pretend I don't know."

"Sweetie, don't try to run away anymore. Get some sleep, and you'll be fine when you wake up."

Fu Huaijin's eyes gradually filled with an uncontrollable obsessive longing, and a strong will to survive suddenly rose in his heart.

He didn't want to die, because if he died, his Xixi would belong to someone else, and how could someone else touch such a wonderful Xixi?

Yes, he wants to live, to live to be a hundred years old, and to stay by Xixi's side.

If it weren't for preparing food for her, Fu Huaijin would almost never want to let the little fox out of his sight.

After he finished cooking, he rushed back to the room almost without touching the ground, his gaze lingering and unwavering as he waited by her side.

After Su Yuxi had slept enough and opened her eyes, she turned her head and met Fu Huaijin's gaze.
