Chapter 236 Is the lady... dead?

Su Yuxi gripped the gun in her hand without the slightest relaxation. She stepped onto the bed and moved step by step toward the balcony.

Fu Huaijin's gaze remained fixed on her figure. Realizing what she was about to do, his expression turned genuinely anxious. He quickly walked around the foot of the bed, closing the distance between them: "Xixi, don't be impulsive. Let's talk this out."

"Don't come any closer." Su Yuxi's expression hardened. This time, she wasn't foolish enough to fire a gun. She and the bodyguards were already on opposite sides. If she fired rashly again, regardless of whether she hit them or not, they would only think that she had attacked their master. They wouldn't care whose wife she was, and they might very well shoot at her.

"Come any closer and I'll shoot. I'm not joking." Su Yuxi shouted angrily at them, her slender arm not trembling, pointing firmly at Fu Huaijin.

That resolute demeanor quickly made the bodyguards suspicious again. Was there really something wrong with this person? Otherwise, what kind of temperament could make a loving couple from just a few days ago now stand facing each other with guns drawn?

He also noticed that Su Yuxi seemed to want to jump off the balcony.

But the villa has a ceiling height of four meters, and they are on the third floor. Even seasoned men like them would have to think twice before jumping from here. If she jumps, she will be crippled if she doesn't die.

The captain lowered his eyes and thought for a moment. The most important thing now was to keep her calm, so he asked her a question: "Madam, it's very dangerous over there. If you suspect that this master is an imposter, what evidence can you provide to prove it?"

We can't just say it's fake without any evidence.

Otherwise, a DNA test would have to be done first, but that's not something they can decide; he would report the matter to his family.

Su Yuxi shook her head.

She identified men by the scent she left on them, something outsiders couldn't understand and that had no persuasive power over them.

The bodyguard continued to persuade her: "Why don't you put down the gun first, calm down and find the master's weakness?"

Although this seems a bit like an attempt to smear one's own master.

Standing to the side, Fu Huaijin didn't mind and immediately chimed in, "Yes, Xixi, if you think I have a problem, then stay here and slowly find out what's wrong with me, okay? It's too dangerous over there, come over quickly."

Su Yuxi lowered her eyes and fell into deep thought, and everything around her seemed to quiet down.

Half a minute later, she made up her mind, gave everyone a charming smile, and just when everyone thought there was a turning point and could breathe a sigh of relief, they saw Su Yuxi quickly run to the balcony, put one hand on the balcony railing, and with a light step, she went over the edge of the railing and fell straight down.

Everyone gasped, and cries of terror rose from the crowd: "Xi Xi..."

"lady……"

When they rushed to the balcony and looked down, expecting to see a horrifying bloody scene, they were surprised to see Su Yuxi holding a gun, running to a car, opening the door, pulling the astonished driver out, getting in herself, and driving off, leaving behind a trail of exhaust fumes and the bewildered looks of the crowd.

The bodyguards who stayed outside had no idea what was going on, and when they saw it was their own wife, they didn't chase after her.

It wasn't until they received orders from above that they belatedly realized they needed to drive out and chase after the person.

Fu Huaijin, known for her loving wife persona, naturally participated in the affair.

He sat in the car with his head bowed, his eyes deep and his aura chilling.

He couldn't figure out where things went wrong.

He was a perfect replica of Fu Huaijin's appearance, temperament, and habits. Even the bodyguard who was watching him didn't recognize him and didn't even make a move. So why could Su Yuxi recognize him at a glance?

This sudden turn of events completely disrupted all his plans.

hateful.

Su Yuxi drove her car through the highway. Her driving skills were not superb; she could only barely drive. She had no idea how to do those cool driving skills.

Although she initially had the upper hand, she had to slow down and be careful when turning, otherwise she was afraid the car would fly off the road.

After several close calls, the car behind quickly caught up.

She gripped the steering wheel tightly, her fingertips turning slightly white from the excessive force, and she would occasionally glance at the cars behind her through the mirror.

As they drew closer, Su Yuxi cursed inwardly, "A bunch of idiots, can't they even recognize their own master?"

Fortunately, the road ahead was straight. She slammed on the gas pedal, not caring how fast the car was going. She felt like the wheels were about to take off.

Seeing how fast she was driving, the people behind her were afraid that if they followed too closely, they would cause an accident to the car in front, so they told them to slow down and just not lose her.

Fu Huaijin, who was in the car, wanted to tell them not to worry about so much and to intercept the person first, but he was a sentimental person and it would be illogical for him to say such a thing.

So he had no choice but to bite the bullet and slow down as the bodyguard instructed.

Su Yuxi noticed that the car behind her had slowed down, so she also slowed down a little, and the two cars maintained a subtle synchronization.

Over time, she figured out what these people were up to. They wanted to stall until the car ran out of gas, until she had to abandon it, especially since sports cars are so fuel-intensive and can't really be driven for very long.

She wanted to make a phone call, but when she reached for her things, she realized she had nothing but her gun.

She was so stupid.

The car had now reached the coastal highway. To the left was the vast, boundless sea, and to the right were rolling mountains. The car behind was right behind us, keeping close behind.

As Su Yuxi gazed at the waves crashing against the rocky cliffs, an idea suddenly popped into her mind.

Since you can't shake them off, why not give it a shot?

Not far away is a steep bend. Even the most skilled driver would slow down and safely navigate such a bend.

But Su Yuxi didn't. Not only did she not do that, she did the opposite, stepping on the gas pedal to the floor, and the car, like a wild horse, rushed towards the dangerous bend.

Her action startled the car following behind. The bend was so narrow, and she was speeding through it. Wasn't she just courting death?

However, it's too late to say anything now.

As Su Yuxi's car turned, a screeching sound of brakes echoed across the road, leaving two deep skid marks on the smooth asphalt. The car veered off course without incident.

With a loud bang, they saw the rear of a car disappear around the corner, followed by a violent crash.

They watched as the car tumbled down the cliff face, finally crashing its fuel tank into a rock in a desperate manner.

The fuel tank leaked, and sparks flew from the collision and friction between the metal and the rocks. The car exploded instantly, but was engulfed in flames in the blink of an eye.

A pile of scrap metal, along with the people inside the vehicle, crashed into the sea. Under such circumstances, there was absolutely no chance of survival.
