Chapter 119 Say Goodbye to Scumbags for good

After exposing his true colors, she breathed a sigh of relief... She never knew that cursing someone could feel so satisfying, like a year's worth of pent-up resentment being released in one fell swoop, making her incredibly excited.

Who told this idiot to have no self-awareness at all, pretending to be stupid and trying to fool her? Luckily, she was determined and resolutely resisted the scumbag's sweet talk.

Using such foul language seems to damage one's image.

Su Yuxi secretly glanced at the man beside her. Seeing that he was calm and had no unusual reaction, she breathed a slight sigh of relief.

Lu Yunzhou stared blankly at Su Yuxi, who was coldly calling him a scumbag. He had once hoped that she would show different emotions towards him, that she would be jealous, scold him, and order him to keep his distance from other women, because that was the true emotion of a couple.

Perhaps he shouldn't ask for so much; wouldn't it be enough if she were willing to stay by his side?

But there's no going back in life.

Looking at his fixed gaze, Su Yuxi squeezed out each word through gritted teeth: "Lu Yunzhou, you really, you make me feel disgusted."

"Stop bothering me. From now on, be a decent human being."

She said all she had to say, and felt no further interest in the man.

"Let's go." Su Yuxi tugged at Fu Huaijin's sleeve. The two looked at each other, and although they didn't exchange words, it was clear that they were both in good spirits.

"Hmm." Fu Huaijin responded lightly, and took the small hand that was pulling him in his own. She was slightly surprised for a moment, but she didn't say anything. She followed his lead and let him lead her.

Lu Yunzhou's gaze followed the two figures as they walked further and further away until they completely disappeared through the doorway. His originally straight back gradually bent down.

He was filled with regret and self-blame.

His mind was in turmoil, repeatedly echoing the same question: Why, why did I become like this? Was it because this circle was too tempting? Was it his greed? Or was it that sliver of hope in his heart?

Wouldn't it be better if he were always so gentle and devoted to her?

Lu Yunzhou asked himself the same question over and over again, but in the end, all he got in return was silence.

After Su Yuxi came out, she let go of Fu Huaijin's hand. The party in the banquet hall was still going on. She had no desire to go back to find the man, so she took Fu Jin home.

Once in the car, Su Yuxi felt extremely uneasy. Looking at the brightly lit streets and the unanswered messages she had sent, she was filled with worry: She wondered where Qianqian had been taken. She couldn't get through on the phone or get a reply to her messages. The man was extremely fierce, and Qianqian had a volatile temper. What if she got beaten up?

"Fu Huaijin, do you know someone named Principal Lin?"

She had only asked casually, without any hope, but when she saw the man nod, she was overjoyed: "Then can you help me ask him where he took Qianqian?"

Fu Huaijin's eyes narrowed slightly. He was wondering how Lin Xiao knew about him, but when he heard about Wan Qianqian, he understood everything.

He picked up his phone, lightly touched the screen with his fingertip, dialed a number, and put the phone on speakerphone. After a short while, he heard a deep male voice on the other end of the line: "Hello."

As soon as the call connected, Su Yuxi snatched the phone, holding it in her hands as if it were a precious treasure, and shouted into the phone, "Hello, I'm looking for Qianqian."

A female voice was heard on the other end. After a moment's hesitation, she took the phone down and looked at it, finding that it was indeed Fu Huaijin's number displayed on it. There was no mistake.

"Wait."

Soon, Wan Qianqian's voice came through the phone.

"Xixi, I'm fine. You should go home now that you've had enough fun." Wan Qianqian had just climbed out of the river and hadn't even caught her breath when the man on the bank threw his phone at her.

She answered the call smoothly, wiped the water off her face, and when she saw the name on the caller ID, she quickly guessed that it was Su Yuxi calling. She didn't have the ability to get Fu Huaijin to call her.

"What are you doing? Why are you panting so much?"

Wan Qianqian glared at the man not far away, took a deep breath, and tried to calm herself down: "It's nothing. It's hot tonight, so I came out for a swim. I just came back from swimming a lap."

"Swimming?" Going swimming so late at night? She couldn't believe it.

"Are you sure you're okay? Should I come over to you?" Su Yuxi asked worriedly.

"It's okay, I'll go back after I finish swimming."

"Be good, go home first, I'll come find you tomorrow."

After reporting that she was safe, Wan Qianqian made an excuse to hang up the phone.

Su Yuxi frowned as she watched the phone being hung up, her mind still preoccupied with Wan Qianqian's safety.

They didn't notice Fu Huaijin's dark expression as soon as he got in the car.

When she got home, she simply abandoned him and ran back to her room to sleep.

The next morning, as the sun rose, bright sunlight streamed through the French windows and shone on the two people enjoying breakfast.

Suddenly, there were light footsteps at the door. A servant came to the door and whispered that a man named Lu Yunzhou was looking for Su Yuxi outside the manor.

Upon hearing this, Su Yuxi looked up from her seafood porridge and glanced at the servant. Her brows furrowed as she pondered to herself, "I made myself perfectly clear yesterday, so why did he come all this way?"

Fu Huaijin pursed his lips, slowly put down the knife and fork in his hand, and glanced at the maid with a cold look. The maid was startled and quickly lowered her head, nervously clutching her clothes and not daring to breathe.

She didn't know what she had done wrong, or why the young master was angry; she had simply come to report as usual.

Su Yuxi also noticed his emotional fluctuations, and her gaze involuntarily fell on him.

"Get out." Fu Huaijin coldly uttered these three words, then abandoned his breakfast and got up to go upstairs, not even sparing the person next to him a glance.

Su Yuxi was left bewildered, along with a trembling servant.

When Su Yuxi was the only one left in the restaurant, she belatedly realized that Fu Huaijin hadn't said a single word to her since she got up in the morning.

I don't know what happened to him, but his face was more tense than usual, and he was shrouded in an imperceptible gloom.

She sighed softly and shook her head slightly. Men's thoughts are hard to guess, and the thoughts of a mute man are even harder to guess. Anyway, it's none of her business.

After a pleasant breakfast, I went to get my phone to call Wan Qianqian, but she didn't answer. However, I did see a business card that she had pushed towards me earlier.

It was that classmate of hers who supposedly had multiple relationships at the same time.

She didn't want to add him, but when she saw the profile picture, her eyes widened in shock, as if she had seen something unbelievable. She jumped up from the sofa in surprise and called out a name: "Sister Chichi!"

How could it be her?

What is she doing here?

Countless questions welled up in my mind.

But after her emotions calmed down, she felt it was impossible. In her eyes, Sister Chichi was gentle, generous, beautiful, and intelligent, and she was very good to her. If she were the one who came out, how could she not come to find her?
