Yan Songyu's heart clenched again. Would Yan Mu finally find out the truth?
Jiang Chengli was caught off guard by this direct question and was unsure whether to admit it or not.
"You were caught cheating on me? So you conspired with your lover to kill my mother?"
Yan Mu's gaze toward Jiang Chengli grew colder and colder. These words were practically spat out one by one from her mouth. Yan Songyu was floating beside her, and she clearly saw her swallow a mouthful of blood.
Jiang Chengli vehemently denied it, "No, that's not how it is, Mumu, I didn't cheat on you, I did all this for you."
"Kill my mother for my sake? Ha..." Yan Mu sneered, "Jiang Chengli, I still underestimated your shamelessness."
Jiang Chengli adjusted his gold-rimmed glasses and said gently, "I'm telling the truth, Mumu. You'll thank me."
"Thank you for killing my mother who loved me the most and cared for me the most?" Yan Mu glared fiercely at Jiang Chengli, wishing he could tear his shameless face apart.

Jiang Chengli tried to pat Yan Mu on the shoulder to comfort her, but Yan Mu dodged it with disgust.
“I am your mother, Mumu. Yan Songyu is an idiot. She is not your mother.”
Suddenly, a woman's voice came from Jiang Chengli's phone. She shouted it out, and even though it wasn't on speakerphone, her voice still echoed throughout the entire office.
Yan Songyu immediately looked at Yan Mu's expression, only to hear her shout, "You're not allowed to insult my mother! You vicious murderer!"
Yan Mu subconsciously retorted to the woman, but only after she finished yelling did she belatedly realize that the voice was very familiar.
"I am your biological mother, Mumu. Yan Songyu is a despicable woman who destroyed our family! It's good that she's dead. You should be happy! Your life and your wealth and status were all given to you by me!"
Yan Songyu smiled bitterly. She was indeed stupid, unable to even recognize her own daughter. In fact, Zhou Yue's last sentence was indeed correct, except that Zhou Yue had stolen Fei Fei's life for her own daughter. Only she was a complete, blind, and utter fool.

Yan Mu recognized Zhou Yue's identity.

Her throat went dry instantly, and every word she uttered felt like a razor blade scraping across her throat. "What do you mean... she, she's my biological mother? What, what do you mean Feifei has absolutely no relation to her? Then whose child is Feifei?"
Jiang Chengli reassured her, "Mumu, calm down. Now that you know, I will tell you everything."
"Answer me! Stop talking nonsense!"
Yan Mu's mind went blank, and he could only vent his anger by yelling.
"Yan Songyu's! She's that bitch Yan Songyu's child, so she deserves to die a horrible death, hahahaha..."
Zhou Yue is truly in a state of near-madness.
Yan Songyu, in a fit of impotent rage, punched and kicked, yelling and cursing: "You're the one who deserves to die a horrible death! The overwhelming amount of information caused Yan Mu's vision to go black. She fell to the ground, and when Jiang Chengli tried to help her up, she pushed his hand away and backed away.
"Don't try to fool me. You must have been caught by me and want me to keep quiet so you can get away with this. That's why you made up such an absurd lie. I won't believe it."
Yan Mu trembled as she reached for her phone. "I'm going to call the police. I'm going to arrest you all and avenge my mother."
Jiang Chengli easily took Yan Mu's phone. He smiled very gently, but in Yan Mu's eyes, it was the smile of Satan. "Mu Mu, you're deceiving yourself. You've already believed it, haven't you?"

Yan Mu roared and shoved Jiang Chengli away.
Jiang Chengli dusted off his clothes, stood up from the ground, and slowly walked behind his desk, taking out a document from the drawer.
"Mumu, what your mother said is true." He handed the document to Zhou Mu. "I knew I couldn't hide this from you for long. This is your paternity test results with your mother. You'll see when you see it."
"It's all fake! It's all fake! Jiang Chengli, you'll stop at nothing to get yourself out of this. I won't let you have your way."
Yan Mu tore up the paternity test, but the piece of paper with the words "supports the existence of a biological parent-child relationship between Zhou Yue and Yan Mu" fell right in front of her. Yan Mu's pupils suddenly dilated, and she stared at the words, shaking her head incessantly.
"Mumu, if you don't believe me, we can do a paternity test right here and now."
Yan Mu huddled on the ground, her eyes bloodshot, tears falling one by one onto the floor with exceptional clarity, as if she was about to reach her breaking point. She bit her arm.
Jiang Chengli glanced at Yan Mu's phone and laughed, "Are you still going to call the police to arrest us? Mu Mu, for your adoptive mother's sake, are you going to send your biological parents to jail?"
Yan Mu was so engrossed in his own world that he kept shaking his head.
Jiang Chengli smiled and squatted down next to Yan Mu, finding the video she had recorded. "You will choose us, right? Yan Songyu is dead, but your biological parents and we are still alive and well, and can still be with you."
As he spoke, he pulled Yan Mu's finger and placed it on the permanent deletion button. "You made the right choice in choosing us. We are a family. Without Yan Songyu and Yan Binghua, we can be reunited."
