Chapter 65 Chapter 65 End of the text

He Anting poured her a cup of tea, held her neck and slowly fed her a cup of tea. After drinking one cup, he asked, "Do you want more?"

Jin Yao shook her head: "I don't want to drink anymore."

She was sick and needed to drink more water to promote sweating and get better quickly. However, Jinyao hated drinking water when she was sick, and it was very difficult to coax her to drink water.

She probably came to her senses belatedly, and looking at the top of the tent, shame suddenly surged up in her. What had she been doing just now?

She, she, she actually...

Jinyao silently clutched the quilt tightly to cover her face.

"Don't cover your face. You'll feel suffocated." He Anting pulled down the quilt, looked at her flushed face, and comforted her, "It's okay. I won't remember what you did just now."

Jinyao said pitifully: "Really?"

He Anting coaxed her: "Of course."

Jinyao felt relieved and nestled into his arms again, whining and moaning, sometimes saying her waist hurt, sometimes her stomach hurt, sometimes her legs hurt, or she just sighed.

He Anting also accompanied her patiently.

Her illness came on like a mountain, and it took her four or five days to recover. After she recovered, she lost weight and had no appetite for anything.

Yun Qiao took great care of her food. "Young Madam, please eat more. This porridge is made with tan mushroom soup. Try it."

Jinyao put down her bowl and chopsticks dejectedly: "I'm full."

He Anting looked at her and saw that she only ate half of what she used to eat: "You don't have to eat anymore. Just recover slowly."

"After Ye Yunzheng finishes his work report tomorrow, they will leave." He Anting said calmly.

Jinyao touched her swollen belly and uttered an "oh." She cautiously looked at his expression. Seeing that he didn't react, she became curious: "Are you not jealous anymore?"

He Anting frowned: "I have never been jealous."

He is simply annoying.

"Okay, okay, if you don't want to eat, then don't eat." Jin Yao tried to comfort him perfunctorily. Perhaps he was used to it and accepted it, so he didn't react as much as before.

"Hurry, let me hug Xiao Ping'an." She hadn't hugged him for a few days and missed him very much.

Yun Qiao held Ping'an in her arms. The sturdy little child, probably seeing his mother, kicked his legs excitedly, clenched his teeth excitedly, smiled with his eyes curved, and hugged him and kissed him twice.

He Anting looked at the mother and son hugging each other and playing, a faint smile appeared in his eyes.

Ye Yunzheng walked on the path without looking around. He had just come out of the uncle's mansion. Now his second brother inherited the title of the prince and got married. The family was very happy. After he returned, he could not help but notice that the atmosphere suddenly became cold.

He felt uncomfortable staying there, so he simply went back to his wife.

"Look, Ping'an, it's Xiaoyu." A sweet voice suddenly sounded in his ears. He paused and turned his head to look.

Then I saw a woman holding her child and watching the small fish in the pavilion.

Ping'an was amused and giggled. There were only mother and son and a few maids in the pavilion. Ye Yunzheng walked over as if possessed.

Jin Yao looked at the person who came, was at a loss for a moment, but still smiled and said nothing.

Ye Yunzheng looked at Ping An in her arms and said abruptly, "Can I hug you?"

Jinyao became alert in an instant and hugged the child tightly.

Ye Yunzheng found it funny: "I won't hurt him. This is the He Mansion. I'm not that stupid."

Jinyao didn't feel embarrassed when his true feelings were seen through. He had to bear the consequences of what he had done.

"I just think he's cute, nothing else."

Jinyao suddenly remembered that his physical condition prevented him from having children, and she hesitated.

"Forget it." Seeing that she was really in trouble, Ye Yunzheng did not force her.

Then he turned and left.

Let it be. Jinyao thought there was no need for them to say another word. She didn't need to make her husband unhappy because of an outsider.

She may have become much colder-hearted, but she felt that it was a smart move.

Jinyao handed the child to Yunqiao: "Go back."

During another autumn hunt, Jin Yao officially accompanied He Anting as his concubine and immediately boarded the carriage to the palace. Originally, she didn't want to go because that place made her feel really embarrassed.

But He Anting expressed his incomprehension after hearing this, and said that he still planned to visit his hometown again. This made Jin Yao so ashamed and angry that she finally agreed to let him go.

Ping'an was placed in the county lady's residence, and the couple followed the imperial army to the palace.

This time, she sat openly in the spacious carriage, chatting and laughing with the wife of Duke Hengguo all the way, stopping occasionally to accompany the queen for a walk, feeling very comfortable.

In just one year, everything has changed.

At that time, she was still huddled in the narrow carriage, and neither she nor Yun Qiao dared to show their faces.

After arriving at the palace, she moved into the bedroom where officials rested. Yun Qiao never stopped talking, but this time she was not so idle. Almost as soon as she moved in, other officials' families came to visit her.

Tea drinking, chatting, and elegant gatherings were all very close together, and she handled them with ease. There was no timidity in her every move. She no longer deliberately imitated the manners of those noble ladies. She was relaxed and at ease, and no one dared to say anything.

After finally seeing off those noble ladies, another eunuch came to tell them that the Queen and the Emperor would be hosting a banquet to entertain all the ministers in the evening.

She hurriedly washed and changed her clothes.

At the banquet, people drank and chatted. Jin Yao missed the banquet last time, so this was her first time in a sense. She looked at the few dishes on the plate curiously and asked He Anting in a low voice.

He Anting also lowered his voice: "This is not what I asked you to eat."

Not for eating? Then just look at it.

Jinyao felt it was a bit of a pity. She looked at the complicated dishes and suppressed her appetite.

After three rounds of drinks, she felt a little tired from sitting, so she wanted to get up and go out for a walk. He Anting immediately turned around and asked, "What are you going to do?"

"I'm going for a walk."

"I'm with you."

Jinyao exclaimed, "Aren't you busy?" She saw so many people coming to toast her.

"It's okay. I've had enough tonight."

Oh, you are going to avoid drinking, Jinyao understood, and the two of them quietly left the hall and took a walk in the night breeze.

He Anting suddenly asked, "Do you remember which room it was?"

Jin Yao was stunned: "Why are you still thinking about this? I don't know." Then she quickened her pace and wanted to leave this place.

He Anting grabbed her sleeve and said, "I want to go and take a look."

Jinyao didn't know what he was thinking. What was so good about it?

But she couldn't stand his stubbornness, so she had to let him go. She thought that after a year, she probably wouldn't be able to find him.

The two of them walked under the intricate corridors, accompanied from time to time by Jin Yao's mumbling voice: "There are so many houses, can you find it?"

"It's so dark, He Anting, let's go."

He Anting said nothing, but just took her hand and looked around the house.

After walking for an unknown amount of time, He Anting suddenly said, "We're here. This is the one."

Jinyao was shocked. Did she really find it?

The two stopped in front of a house. He Anting reached out and pushed open the door. Jin Yao followed him into the dark house.

It had been a long time, and she only remembered that she was very scared that night, and she had no recollection of the rest of the furnishings in the house.

He Anting closed the door, and the last ray of moonlight was also shut out. Jin Yao heard the sound and turned around to ask, "Why are you closing the door?"

Then she was grabbed hard around the waist, her back hit against the door, and her ears and neck were sprayed with rapid, hot breath: "It doesn't matter if Yaoyao forgot. I can make Yaoyao remember it today."

Jinyao understood that this man just wanted to have some excitement.

No matter how she was asked to do this with him in public... she was still ashamed.

"No, not here."

Before she could finish her words, her tone changed. The fierce and passionate kiss made her face blush and her heart beat faster, and all the words were blocked out.

The tip of his tongue scraped across her upper palate, and the sensitive spot made her shrink involuntarily. Her lips and eyes were all wet, and she could hardly bear it.

She could feel his blood boiling, and he held her waist tightly, embedding her in his arms.

Jin Yao felt her face flushed. She was already a mother, yet she was still hanging out with her husband like this. What if others found out?

She cursed He Anting in her heart for being so vulgar and would never agree to his strange requests again.

She retained a bit of her rationality and hoped that He Anting would be quicker.

"You're not concentrating." He Anting said in a low voice, pinching her jaw and forcing their noses to touch.

"How could I not be concentrating?" Jin Yao wanted to deny it, but as soon as she opened her mouth, she found that her voice was soft and weak, as if she was acting coquettishly.

He Anting said: "Your voice makes me feel distracted."

Jin Yao was still confused, then realized something and said angrily: "What if someone hears it?"

"It's okay, no one will know." His voice became increasingly deep. Jin Yao had no choice but to hold him in her arms and go through the storm with him.

Inside the dim room, the atmosphere was voluptuous and fiery, while outside, it was deserted with only the moonlight hanging high in the sky. After the banquet, the officials who could not find He Anting anywhere gave up and returned to their bedrooms in groups of three or two.

In the small room, Jin Yao looked at the sleeping He Anting, raised the corners of her lips, and mouthed goodbye.

Then he quietly got up, changed his clothes, pushed the door open and left.

Everything is silent.

He Anting woke up soon after. He reached out to grab something, but found nothing. He then looked at the empty arms in disbelief, thinking that there was something wrong with his memory.

He leaped up, grabbed his clothes, put them on and left.

A rare panic filled his heart. He thought that everything that had just happened was just a dream, and he urgently wanted to confirm that it was true.

After returning to the house, he pushed open the door with big strides, ran to the bed, and saw his disappeared wife lying on the bed and sleeping soundly.

He was stunned for a moment, and the tension and panic in his heart suddenly dissipated. He calmed down and breathed a sigh of relief. After being relieved, he couldn't help but feel angry.

Jin Yao suddenly opened her eyes: "Why did you come back just now?"

He Anting couldn't bear to be angry with her, so he could only rub her face with a cold expression: "Why did you leave secretly? You scared me."

Jin Yao blinked: "What are you scared of?"

"I thought nothing had happened." He Anting kissed her cheek again and again. His eyes were deep as he looked at the scarlet mark on her snow-white neck. "You can only be mine."

Jinyao hung on his neck: "Of course I am yours."

He Anting rubbed her nose with his nose and smiled softly: "Well, Yaoyao is the apple of my eye."
