◎One more Angel Railway◎
Chi Huai was leaning on the bed. He had just taken a shower, with his slightly longer bangs sticking to his forehead. He looked less aloof than usual and looked like a harmless golden retriever. He exuded an inexplicable obedience that made others want to stroke his fur.
But as the water drops flowed down, across the beautiful collarbones, passed through the chest, and finally disappeared into the body covered by the bathrobe, there was an indescribable charm.
Lin Chaojin put her hands behind her back and clasped the wardrobe, her face calm and composed. "Okay," she said as she walked towards him step by step. She knelt on the bed and reached out to smooth his hair, revealing his forehead.
"You actually have a widow's peak," Lin Chaojin said curiously as she moved closer to look at the widow's peak on his forehead.
She didn't notice that she was a head taller than him in her kneeling position. As her body continued to lean forward, the faint fragrance of her body wafted towards him.
"Yeah," Chi Huai replied softly, not avoiding her touch on the head. He placed his hands on her waist, and gently stroked it with his index fingers through the fabric.
"Itchy," Lin Chaojin's waist was a sensitive area, and she immediately put her hands on his shoulders to push him away.
Chi Huai took advantage of the situation and put his arms around her waist tightly. Suddenly, Lin Chaojin felt that she had changed her position and was lying on the bed.
"Swish", I heard the sound of a bag being torn open, and when I looked up, I saw the person on top tearing it open with one hand.
Lin Chaojin poked his shoulder with her index finger and asked, "When did you prepare this?"
Chi Huai lowered his head to meet her peach blossom eyes with a slight blush at the corners, and his eyes were as bright as water waves. He couldn't help but lower his head and kiss her left eye, then moved to her right eye, and answered her question in a low voice, "Well, I prepared it when I was cleaning the room just now."
Lin Chaojin's eyelids trembled and she couldn't help but close her eyes. Her fingers suddenly grabbed his arm, letting her fingertips sink into it. She thought to herself, "You are really well prepared."
She had no time to let her thoughts run wild after that.
The next day, Lin Chaojin woke up from Chi Huai's arms. She was able to keep her expression unchanged. She looked up at the person who still had his eyes closed. For the first time, she understood the possibility that those monarchs were obsessed with beauty and did not attend court.
"Awake?" Chi Huai opened his eyes, his voice hoarse from just waking up.
"Yeah," Lin Chaojin pushed him away, got up from his arms swiftly, got off the bed and walked towards the bathroom.
Chi Huai, who was simply pushed away by her, glanced at the closed bathroom door with a gloomy look, raised his hand to his forehead and sighed.
After they finished breakfast, Chi Huai leaned against the door frame of the room and watched her get ready.
Lin Chaojin put on the last touch of lipstick in front of the mirror, looked at him through the mirror, looked away and walked over. The man took the bag from her hand.
Looking at the person walking in front with the bag, Lin Chaojin couldn't understand how they had developed to this point. They had progressed directly from being sex buddies to being able to go out and play together like a young couple.
Lin Chaojin got into the elevator and was about to walk out on the first floor when the man reached out and pulled her back, pressing the button for the basement floor again.
The elevator door reopened with a "ding" sound. The man did not let go of her hand, but directly took her wrist and walked towards the parking lot. After a few steps, he stopped in front of a black supercar, opened the door and motioned her to get in.
Lin Chaojin raised her eyebrows, said nothing, and sat down. With a "bang", the door closed and the man also sat down.
"Where are you going?" Lin Chaojin looked at him and asked.
Chi Huai started the car and said with his thin lips, "You don't want to drive on Route 66."
"You looked at my circle of friends," Lin Chaojin supported her head with one hand, tilted her head and looked at him with raised eyebrows.
Chi Huai neither nodded nor said no.
The sports car just "whoosh" out of the parking lot.
Passing through the bustling city center, the iconic palm trees of Los Angeles on both sides quickly receded, and the summer sea breeze blew on my face through the convertible sports car.
Lin Chaojin rested her right hand on the car door frame, her chin resting on her hand, letting the wind blow her hair around, with the corners of her mouth raised, enjoying this holiday contentedly.
There was a "click" sound, which was the sound of Chi Huai turning on the car's CD player, and then a song sounded in the speeding car.
Lin Chaojin hummed a few lines along with the prelude.
These palm trees they sway but,
Here the palm trees sway in the wind,
Each night and each day,
However, every day and night,
I'm California dreaming about you,
I dreamed of you in California,
…
Then another male voice sounded. Lin Chaojin turned her head and met those eyes as deep as the sea. Chi Huai glanced at her, turned his head and hummed:
But it's you that I think about every time when my mind zoning,
When my mind wanders away from the world, all I think about is you.
It's you that I think about every time that I get lonely,
When I'm alone, all I can think about is you.
…
The car drove for a while and then stopped in front of a beach. Lin Chaojin was the first to open the car door and get out. This place was not like Manhattan Beach where people came and went at all times.
Lin Chaojin couldn't help but take off her high heels and held them in her hand. She stepped on the beach, walked a few steps, turned around, with a smile on her face and her hair fluttering, "Chi Huai, come here quickly, it's so beautiful here."
Chi Huai was holding a camera in his hand. When she turned around, he captured her bright and beautiful face through the lens. "She is very beautiful."
Lin Chaojin walked over and held his hand, "When did you get the camera?" and pulled him to run for a while on the beach.
When they were close to the sea, she let go of his hand, scooped up a handful of water and splashed it on his face. "Hahaha," Lin Chaojin looked at his wet hair and lapel and couldn't help laughing.
Chi Huai casually shook off the water on his head, glanced at her, then threw the camera on the beach with one hand, rolled up the sleeves of his shirt with the other, and approached her with his eyes locked on her face.
Lin Chaojin saw his movements and met his gaze. Sensing danger, she instinctively took a few steps back, turned around and wanted to run to the side.
However, Chi Huai was faster. He took a few steps forward with his long legs, and held her waist tightly from behind with his hands with bulging veins. He lifted her up and walked a few steps into the sea, intending to throw her into the sea.
"Ah, Chi Huai, don't, I was wrong." Lin Chaojin was easily lifted up from behind by him. She kicked her feet in the air and held his arms tightly with both hands. Seeing him walk into the sea, she quickly begged for mercy, her voice unconsciously filled with coquettishness, "Chi Huai."
Chi Huai stopped walking after hearing her words, put his chin on her shoulder, opened his mouth and bit her ear, rubbing it gently with his teeth, "I was really wrong."
"Yeah, I was wrong," Lin Chaojin was locked in his arms, feeling at a disadvantage, so she could only admit her mistake in a soft voice.
Chi Huai didn't scare her anymore. He carried her away from the sea and put her on the beach. He picked up the camera and hung it on his arm. Then he helped her pick up the pair of high heels that she had thrown aside and put the shoes at her feet.
Lin Chaojin stepped on the sand without shoes. "Dirty."
After hearing this, Chi Huai lowered his head to look at her feet stepping on the sand. They were delicate and white, and were only scratched by the fine sand, leaving a few red marks on them.
Chi Huai squatted down again, picked up her high heels and held them in his hands, then stood up and opened his arms, "I'll carry you back."
Lin Chaojin looked at his open arms, thought for a second, then pounced over, jumped up, wrapped her legs around his waist, and clung to him like a koala.
Chi Huai hugged her, put his hands on her lower back, held her high heels in his hands, and turned to walk towards the car on the beach with her in his arms.
Walking to the car, Chi Huai opened the door and gently placed her on the seat. He bent down and squatted in front of her, placed her feet on his legs, and looked up at her. "Tissue."
Lin Chaojin watched his movements, her body trembling, and she wanted to retract her foot, "I'll do it myself."
But Chi Huai held her ankles and stopped her from moving. "Tissue," Chi Huai looked at her and continued lightly.
Lin Chaojin was in a stalemate with him for a while, so she could only take the bag in the car, take out a few tissues from it and hand them to him.
Chi Huai took it, lowered his head and frowned, and carefully wiped off the fine sand on her feet inch by inch.
Lin Chaojin lowered her head to look at his profile and the smooth jawline. He was obviously a cold and aloof looking man, but now he condescended to bend down to help wipe her feet.
The feeling of the tissue rubbing against her feet made Lin Chaojin feel itchy. She frowned, and the look in her eyes was unclear.
After wiping her feet clean, Chi Huai took her high heels and put them on for her one by one before standing up again, "Okay."
"Thank you," Lin Chaojin retracted her foot, lowered her head and spoke without looking up at him.
Chi Huai glanced at her and said, "No need," then walked around to the other side, opened the car door and got in.
The car was driving for who knows how long before it stopped. Lin Chaojin looked at the scenery not far away, then turned to look at him in surprise: "Isn't this the Angel Railway in La La Land?"
Chi Huai got out of the car and walked around to open the door for her, holding out his hand, "Get out."
Lin Chaojin raised her eyes and glanced at him, her gaze falling on the palm he extended, then she placed her hand on his. Chi Huai grasped it, wrapped her small hand with his big palm, then pulled her up and walked over with her.
The two paid two US dollars and jumped on the train amid the conductor's teasing smile. They thought the conductor must have thought they were a young couple who came to check in.
The train ride didn't take long. Lin Chaojin glanced at the place where the heroine Mia and the hero Sebastian were sitting and kissing in the movie.
"Do you want to come over and sit down?" Chi Huai leaned on the horizontal bar she was leaning on with one hand and asked her while looking down at her.
"No need," Lin Chaojin raised her head and met his gaze.
"Yeah," Chi Huai said as he lowered his head and pressed his lips against hers, prying her mouth open. Lin Chaojin raised her hands and wrapped them around his neck.
The colorful lights of the city shining in from the car window shone on them, as if building a bizarre dream world for them.
With a "click", a shutter sound was heard.
Lin Chaojin reflexively buried her face in Chi Huai's arms.
Chi Huai put his hand on her head and turned to face a foreigner with a kind smile.
The man with the ponytail shook the Polaroid camera in his hand and handed him the photo he had just taken. "Hey boy, the scene you just had was so beautiful that I couldn't help but take a picture."
Chi Huai glanced at him, took the photo, saw the two people in the photo, pulled the corners of his mouth, looked up at him, and said, "Thank you."
The man waved his hand and got off the train.
Lin Chaojin poked her head out from his arms and glanced at the photo in his hand. She saw two young and beautiful men and women hugging and kissing on the train. Their exposed profiles looked a little hazy and sweet under the light.
Lin Chaojin's ears suddenly felt hot. Was this her expression? She reached out to take the photo.
Chi Huai dodged it, put the photo in his trouser pocket, took her hand and walked off the train, "Let's go."
Lin Chaojin watched his movements. It was obvious that this man would not give her the photo, so she could only follow him and move forward.
