After dinner, everyone went for lunch and Qiao Shu sat in the yard.
"Shushu, don't you want to take a rest?"
Chen Xiaoyan asked.
Qiao Shu shook his head: "I won't go. My workplace is a bit far away, and I have to go there early, otherwise I won't be able to make it in time."
She had already made an appointment with Fu Jingyu to pick her up after dinner. She would rather sleep less and stay with Fu Jingyu longer.
Chen Xiaoyan did not doubt the truthfulness of what Qiao Shu said. After all, Qiao Shu's workplace was indeed quite far away.
"Okay then, you stay by yourself and take care of it for a while. I'm going to get some rest."

When Fu Jingyu heard the word "husband", his eyebrows raised slightly, and he walked up the mountain with her on his back in a very good mood.
Qiao Shu lay on his back, feeling sweet in her heart. Her man was so handsome, she liked him no matter how she looked at him.

Fu Jingyu raised his eyebrows: "That's my great grandmother's granddaughter."
"Grandma? Do you know her?"

Logically speaking, their family should be familiar with Fu Dafang's family. After all, they are all family members and are of the same bloodline. His grandfather and Fu Dafang's grandfather are brothers, and both are landlords.
But ever since he knew what his eldest grandfather had done to his grandfather, Fu Jingyu kept his distance from the whole family.

When she heard Fu Jingyu say that Fu Cuihua was his great grandmother's granddaughter, her heart skipped a beat. She had never thought that Fu Jingyu and she had the same surname. She thought it was a coincidence, but she didn't expect that they were really relatives.

So he had to find out what had happened and not let Qiao Shu be wronged or bullied by others.
