Fu Jingyu's cold attitude really made Qiao Shu unable to help but curse him in his heart, but he still followed Fu Jingyu obediently.
Fu Jingyu glanced at her, not missing the resentment in her eyes, and a smile appeared on his lips.
It's not that we don't want her to stay here. It's hot outside and it's cool here.
But he was worried about leaving her here alone, so it was better to keep her under his watch.
Besides, the little girl would definitely do something bad without him watching over her. It's not good for a girl's health if she touches too much cold water.
Back in the fields, Qiao Shu frowned at the scorching sun and the pain in his hands.
But knowing that she still had to do her job for the day, she walked straight to the field.
Now it was Fu Jingyu's turn to feel uncomfortable. She should have just stayed under the tree and rested obediently, but why did she run to the fields when she was such a good boy? Did she not want her hand anymore?
But he looked at Qiao Shu and said, "You go and rest."
Qiao Shu no longer wanted to please this cold-faced and ruthless man, and said angrily: "After all, the captain asked me to work hard, I dare not rest."
Fu Jingyu could hear the thorn in her tone and was too lazy to say anything else. He just said, "Then it's up to you."
After he finished speaking, he turned and left, leaving Qiao Shu with only his back.
Qiao Shu watched his receding figure, clenched her fists, and wished she could swing the sickle in her hand at the man, but unfortunately, she couldn't do that yet.
He walked to Fu Jingyu, squatted down and started to work.
As a result, everything went dark before my eyes and my body went limp, and I was about to fall to the ground.
Fu Jingyu, who had been silently paying attention to Qiao Shu, was quick to reach out and support her.
"Go and rest." The low voice revealed a bit of anger.
Qiao Shu opened his hazy eyes, raised his head and looked at Fu Jingyu. Looking at the face so close to him, he was stunned for a moment, then realized that his previous behavior was very embarrassing, and immediately struggled to stand up from Fu Jingyu's arms.
Fu Jingyu was afraid that Qiao Shu would fall down again, so he didn't let go.
"Let me go. I don't want you to care about me."
She struggled to get out of Fu Jingyu's arms.
"Don't move."
Fu Jingyu's voice was low, revealing a hint of majesty.
Qiao Shu was shocked and stopped struggling. Fu Jingyu let her go, grabbed her wrist, and made her sit down under a tree nearby.
“Thank…thank you!”
Qiao Shu thanked him in a panic, because they were very close to each other at this time, and the man's scent and warm breath sprayed on her ears, making her whole body hot.
"Don't move."
Fu Jingyu saw that she was restless and warned her.
Then he took the sickle from her hand.
Seeing Qiao Shu about to move again, Fu Jingyu frowned and said helplessly: "Can't you just stay here obediently?"
Qiao Shu blushed when she heard Fu Jingyu's low voice.
Seeing that Qiao Shu finally obeyed, Fu Jingyu breathed a sigh of relief.
"Didn't you have breakfast?"
He saw that Qiao Shu's reaction was hypoglycemia.
Qiao Shu shook his head, then remembered that he had two eggs in his pocket and took them out.
"I got up too late this morning and forgot about it."
She stuck out her tongue playfully.
Fu Jingyu looked at her with a doting look in his eyes: "Then eat quickly, I'm going to work."
As I turned around, someone grabbed the corner of my clothes.
Fu Jingyu lowered his head to look at the delicate and soft little girl, and stretched out a pair of hands that were only half the size of his own, with slender and white fingers.
She grabbed his white coat. The coat had obviously turned white from washing, but her fingers were whiter than the coat.
"Don't leave yet."
Qiao Shu called out to Fu Jingyu.
