As the meeting ended, the lights in the corridor illuminated faces that were either deep in thought or excited.
Zhou Jue did not go to the helipad, where a state-of-the-art stealth starship, incorporating both Earth's and alien technologies, was prepared for her.
She returned to the base, to that familiar time-travel room.
She was surrounded by familiar faces: Chief Zhang, Commander Qi, Sun Jiuchou, and the Alliance Chairman.
"Not going by starship?" the chairman asked first, his voice not accusing, but confirming.
“The target is too big,” Zhou Jue replied, checking the items in his space. “It’s safer to have my system send me there.”
Commander Qi stepped forward, reached out as if to help her straighten her collar, but stopped halfway through, and finally just gently patted her shoulder.
“That place is unlike any other place we’ve encountered before.”
"And you go alone, without support, without coordinates, and even... without a clear enemy."
“I understand,” Zhou Jue nodded.
Commander Zhang sighed. This child he had watched grow up was now going to venture into the enemy's headquarters.
"How about... we bring some people?" the old man finally said after hesitating for a long time.

"I heard you're going outside, and it's dangerous. I want to go with you. If we need to fight, let me out!" The Listening Sea Beast looked at Zhou Jue and patted its chest.

“You two…” Commander Qi looked at the two of them, somewhat hesitant.

Zhou Jue looked at the chairman.
Without hesitation, the chairman nodded: "An extra helper means a better chance of winning. Xiao Jue, the two seniors are very capable, and they have been with you before, so there shouldn't be any problem with them working together."
"Alright! Thank you both, seniors." After saying that, Zhou Jue welcomed the two seniors back into his space.
After doing all this, Zhou Jue did not set off immediately, but instead immersed his consciousness into the space that belonged to the 'battlefield of national destiny'.
Under the gray sky, Quartermaster-007 and the dozens of awakened NPCs behind him stood quietly, having been waiting there for some time.

“I know you want revenge.” Zhou Jue looked at their faces, which were filled with sorrow and determination. “But it’s not the time yet.”
"That sea of stars is more complex and dangerous than we imagined. That 'main system' may just be someone's henchman."
"I need to investigate the situation first, find their weaknesses, and find the real 'culprit'."
"Before that, what you need to do is accumulate strength."
"Don't worry, I will give you a chance to get your revenge."
Quartermaster-007 trembled slightly, and he suddenly knelt down on one knee.
"Yes, sir!"
Behind him, all the NPCs knelt on one knee in unison.
"Yes, sir!" Their voices were firm and powerful; they had finally waited for this moment.
Zhou Jue's consciousness slowly withdrew from the secret box.

The atmosphere relaxed a little.
She took one last look at the three of them, one last look at the room that had witnessed so many partings and returns, and finally looked at Sun Jiuchou.
