Chapter 21 I Became a Beast God in the Beast World (11)

Chapter 21 I Became a Beast God in the Beast World (11)

Early the next morning, before dawn, an unprecedentedly large force for the rabbit-beast tribe set off. Only the elderly, weak, women, children, and two fast-running warriors remained in the tribe. After instructing them to hide, the force departed.

The strongest warriors, such as Benyue and Juchi, walked at the front, with the orcs in the middle carrying baskets full of supplies. Zhou Jue and Hui Er walked in the middle of the group, with Xiao Bai and Luo Ying on either side of her.

Zhou Jue did not put the supplies back into his Starry Sky Box. This time, he invited Xiao Bai and Luo Ying along, intending to train them and Luo Qi to be his successors, so he brought them out to see the world.

The road to the Great Plains was difficult; they traversed forests and forded streams, walking for the entire morning. Just as they were about to emerge from the forest, a group of uninvited guests blocked their path.

There were more than a dozen muscular wolf-like beastmen with gray-black fur, fierce eyes, and exposed claws that gleamed with a metallic sheen.

"It's...it's the Iron Claw Wolf Tribe!" Ben Yue's expression changed, and he immediately gripped the stone spear in his hand, protecting Zhou Jue behind him.

The rabbit-beast tribe members tensed up instantly, trembling with fear written all over their faces.

The leader, an Ironclaw Wolf-Beastman, was taller than the other werewolves and had a hideous scar on his face. He glanced contemptuously at the "old, weak, sick, and disabled" group of Rabbit-Beastmen, his gaze finally settling on the baskets they carried on their backs.

"Heh, a bunch of little rabbits, daring to bring so much stuff to the gathering?" The scarred werewolf sneered. "Looks like you've had a good haul. How about this, leave half of your stuff as toll, and I'll let you pass."

"And leave this thing on your body...this thing behind." Although the scarred werewolf had never seen a basket before, that didn't stop it from recognizing how useful it was!

"This is robbery!" Benyue roared angrily.

"Robbery?" The scarred werewolf seemed to have heard the biggest joke in the world. "I'm negotiating with you. If you're not happy, you can leave everything behind, or you can leave your lives behind."

The werewolves behind him let out low growls, rubbing their fists together, their threat unmistakable.

The rabbit-beast tribe's beastmen turned pale with fright. They knew very well that once a fight broke out, their small number was no match for the Ironclaw Wolf.

Just as Gray Ear was about to open the oral medication, Zhou Jue walked out from behind Ben Yue.

She remained calm, showing no sign of tension.

“We won’t give it to you,” she said calmly.

The scarred werewolf paused for a moment, then grinned maliciously: "Little rabbit, a female, you've got some nerve! Looks like you don't want to live anymore!"

He took a sudden step forward, his powerful aura making the rabbit-beast tribe members breathless.

"I'll say it again, get out of here." Zhou Jue's voice remained calm, but it carried an undeniable air of authority.

"You're asking for death!" The scarred werewolf was completely enraged. He roared and his sharp claws shot out, ready to grab Zhou Jue.

"Master Wu!" Benyue and Juchi cried out, trying to rush forward to defend them, but it was too late.

At this critical moment.

"Bang!"

A loud bang shattered the tranquility of the forest.

The scarred werewolf, who was lunging forward, stopped abruptly. He looked down in horror and saw a deep hole in the ground in front of him, emitting blue smoke.

The entire forest fell silent. All the werewolves froze in place, staring incredulously at the black "Thunder Weapon" in Zhou Jue's hand.

"Now, can you get lost?" Zhou Jue slowly raised his hand, the dark muzzle of his gun pointed at the scarred werewolf's head.

"Sorcery! It's sorcery!" a werewolf screamed in terror.

The scarred werewolf's fur stood on end, a wave of deathly fear instantly engulfing him. He could feel that if the other party made that same sound again, a hole would appear in his head, just like the ground beneath his feet.

He had no doubt about it.

"Get out...we're getting out! We're getting out right now!" The scarred werewolf scrambled backward, leading his terrified companions, and rushed into the depths of the forest without looking back, disappearing without a trace in an instant.

With the crisis resolved, the rabbit-beast tribe's beastmen were still in a state of shock and had not yet recovered.

"Witch...Witch Master..." Benyue stammered, his gaze towards Zhou Jue filled with fervent worship.

"That's...that's amazing!"

"Is this the power of the Thunder Weapon?!" I had only heard about it before; this was the first time I had ever seen a shaman use a divine artifact!

Zhou Jue silently put the gun back into the Starry Sky Casket, thinking to himself: Eight shots left. It seems this thing really is the greatest deterrent in this world.

Zhou Jue stepped forward, dug the bullet casing out of the soil, and put it away. She wanted to take the foreign object with her and try not to leave any trace.

"Alright, let's keep going." She clapped her hands, breaking the silence.

The group set off again, but the atmosphere was completely different. All the rabbit-beastmen, watching Zhou Jue's retreating figure, straightened their backs considerably. With such a powerful shaman by their side, what did they have to fear?

After walking for about another hour, they arrived at their destination.

The sight before them stunned many of the rabbit-beastmen, as it was their first time here. In the past, Benyue would bring a few warriors to exchange for salt.

On the vast plains, hundreds and thousands of orcs gathered, forming dozens of areas of varying sizes. The roars, conversations, and bargaining sounds of the various orcs mingled together, rising into the sky in a lively and bustling atmosphere.

Here you'll find bear-men as tall as mountains, leopard-men who are agile and nimble, deer-men in herds... all sorts of tribes gather here, displaying their respective goods.

"Master Wu, where...where are we going?" Gray Ear asked, somewhat at a loss.

"How did you do it in the past?"

“Lord Wu, when we arrived, we went straight to exchange for salt, and left immediately without stopping,” Benyue replied.

Zhou Jue understood: "No rush."

She scanned the room, calmly analyzing the situation: "Find a corner, lay out the animal hides first, and put the rest away. Don't take them out."

She settled her people in a secluded corner, offering only a few ordinary animal hides as a pretext for exchange.

"Wait for me here. Don't cause any trouble, and don't exchange with anyone. I'm going to look around," Zhou Jue instructed, and told them to cover their baskets up to avoid exposing them for now.

Xiao Bai immediately raised his hand: "Lord Wu, I'll go with you!"

Zhou Jue thought for a moment and nodded: "Okay, stick close to me."

"Luo Ying, you come too."

“Lord Wu, let me come too. I’ve been here before, so I know a little better,” Benyue added.

"No, it's precisely because you've been here that you should stay here to avoid offending the other orcs. This place needs you more."

After saying that, Zhou Jue left with Xiao Bai and Luo Ying.
