Chapter 13 Coercion and Enticement tushumi.cc

"Please don't make things difficult for me, Master. Once that important person leaves, I will definitely take Huaiyue to apologize in person..."

“Aunt Hua, you’re usually so clever, how come you’ve become so confused this time?” He An narrowed his eyes and said to Hua Jiao, “I’m here today to do something for that important person…”

Hua Jiao's eyes darted around: "What do you mean by that, Master?"

“Mom, you should know that the noble person cannot stay in Yingtian forever. The Prefect is the true ruler of Yingtian.”

“You’re a smart person, why don’t you give the adults face? We’ll share the glory and the adults won’t forget you, Mom…” He An persuaded patiently.

Hua Jiao's expression changed slightly, and the force in her hand unconsciously loosened a little.

As the saying goes, even a powerful dragon can't suppress a local snake; she, a wealthy woman, wants to do business in Yingtian...

“That’s right, Aunt Hua.” He An pushed her hand away and walked towards Huaiyue’s room.

Hua Jiao stood there for a few seconds, not daring to offend either side.

She gritted her teeth and randomly grabbed a servant who happened to be coming upstairs: "Go to the inn..."

"Young Master Huaiyue." When He An pushed open the door, Huaiyue was leaning against the window. Hearing the noise, he turned around and looked over, his eyes lazy and casual.

Even though He An didn't like men, he was stunned for a moment by that glance.

It is said that even heroes cannot resist the charms of a beautiful woman, and even a famous figure like Song Ting could not escape this temptation.

A beauty's embrace, a hero's grave.

"Young Master Huaiyue," He An cupped his hands in greeting and said.

Huaiyue glanced at the two burly servants behind He An, who had already gently closed the door.

"What is the advisor trying to do?"

He An took a step forward: "Does the young master wish to leave Zuichunlou?"

Huaiyue leaned to the side, raised an eyebrow slightly, and said casually, "I don't want to."

His answer was so decisive, without the slightest hesitation, that He An's expression froze for a moment.

Then he switched to an ingratiating smile: "Young master, you've been trapped here for so long, don't you want to be free?"

"Freedom?" Huaiyue chuckled softly, her bright eyes gazing at He An.

For some reason, that look made He An feel inexplicably uneasy.

"Is the advisor sure he wants to give me freedom, rather than pushing me from one cage to another?"

He An: "..."

He An: "Young master is joking. Of course, I am thinking of you wholeheartedly. I really can't bear to see you trapped here and suffering."

Huaiyue smiled again, but still refused: "Thank you for your kindness, Master, but I think this place is quite nice."

“I eat well, I dress well, and my mother treats me well, so I don’t want to leave for now.”

At this point, his gaze lightly fell on He An's face: "If there's nothing else, please leave, Master."

"What if I insist on redeeming you, young master?" He An took a few more steps closer.

Huaiyue blinked slowly.

“Young master is wise; you and I both know what happened at Zuichun Pavilion that night.”

When bribery failed, He An resorted to threats. He didn't really care about her; she was just a lowly slave selling smiles at the Drunken Spring Pavilion.

"With that important person here, the prefect can only suffer in silence no matter how heartbroken he is. But once that important person leaves, do you think the prefect will let the people here go?"

“The master only has one son, whom he cherishes like a precious treasure. He would never let him die in vain.”

"Therefore, this matter can never be resolved peacefully, but you are different from others, young master, you still have a tremendous opportunity..."

He An explained the pros and cons to Huai Yue, who lowered her head and laughed. He An thought he had finally persuaded her, and he also smiled.

But then Huaiyue raised her head and said in a slow, drawn-out tone, "Unfortunately, I am unwilling."

He An's expression suddenly changed.

He considered himself to be subservient to this male prostitute, but the man repeatedly embarrassed him.

He immediately felt displeased and said coldly, "It's a pity that Mother Hua has already agreed."

“Then please take Mother away, Master,” Huaiyue said.

"You!" He An was furious. "I'm not going to waste my breath on you now. Since Mama Hua sold you to me, you have to come with me."

"A male prostitute that anyone can have their way with, does he really think he's some kind of prince or nobleman?"

"Even if that person likes you now, it's only for a fleeting infatuation. Such a nobleman wouldn't even be interested in the current princess, so how could he possibly treat you sincerely?"

He An waved his hand, and two servants behind him menacingly surrounded Huaiyue.

Xiao An spread her arms to block Huai Yue's view: "What do you want to do?!"

"Since you know that my young master has a powerful backer, then don't come any closer, or that powerful backer will definitely not let you off!"

He An sneered: "We are here to share the burden of that important person."

Huaiyue paused slightly in her movements.

A moment later, he patted Xiao An on the shoulder: "This is none of your business, go to the side."

Xiao An stubbornly pursed her lips, refusing to give in: "No, young master, Xiao An wants to protect you."

"What can you protect?" Huaiyue chuckled. "Don't lose your life."

Xiao An, however, remained defiant: "Anyway, we must protect the young master."

This means they absolutely refuse to leave.

Huaiyue sighed, looked up at He An, and said, "If you insist on this, then we have no choice but to—"

"What else can we do?"

"I had no choice but to take my body...to see that noble person."

He turned his back to He An, his gaze sweeping across the noisy streets, where a familiar figure was galloping towards him on horseback in the distance.

The well-fed, glossy black horse neighed and knocked people and things along the way, causing chaos in the street.

Some people were cursing, some were chasing, but the people on horseback ignored them and kept heading this way.

The shouting and cursing increased.

What a magnificent sight, Commander!

Huaiyue was amused by the scene and laughed. She sat on the windowsill with her legs dangling outside the window, swinging leisurely.

This action nearly scared Xiao An to death: "Young Master, this is too dangerous, come up quickly!"

Huaiyue, however, did not listen and even began to hum a tune.

He An pressed closer from behind, provoking him: "People only act desperately to maintain their dignity because they don't want to serve others."

"How come it's the other way around when it comes to you, young master? Are you so inseparable from men?"

“But you don’t need to threaten me like this, young master. People like you want to live more than anyone else. Otherwise, as men, you wouldn’t want to be played with.”

"So, young master, you'd better get down from the windowsill quickly. If you accidentally fall, even the gods and Buddhas can't save you..."

Huaiyue simply smiled, then leaned forward, not even glancing at the person behind him.

"Young Master!" Xiao An was terrified.

Huaiyue's voice was low and light: "Does the advisor think I wouldn't dare to jump?"
