"Let's talk this out, brother. We were wrong."
"You were really wrong!"
Lin Feng sneered, the light from the phone screen shining on the Bai brothers' faces, their eyes filled with fear and panic.
"I'll ask you one more time, what exactly are you doing here?"
Bai Laosan quickly revealed what had happened.
"I'll talk, I'll talk!"
"Actually, a few months ago, my brother and I came here by chance and caught a Yangtze alligator while fishing. It's the one next to you!"
Bai Laosan pointed to the small crocodile next to Lin Feng.
Lin Feng looked down at the small, menacing crocodile that was trying to bite their shoes, but its short legs couldn't reach them at all.
It must have realized that these two were the ones in front of it, preventing it from eating its delicious fish.
I'm angry!
The two brothers stared at the baby crocodile in horror.
"Then it came towards us. We didn't have any tools with us at the time, and I was afraid it would bite us, so I used a wire to strangle its mouth."
"We just grabbed our fishing gear and left because we were scared afterwards. Later, I kept thinking something was wrong, and we wanted to find the little crocodile to untangle the wire, but we couldn't find it! So...we just left!"
"That day, my brother saw your live stream and realized that the wire on that little crocodile was already around its neck."
"We also feel guilty!"
Lin Feng was skeptical. The two brothers didn't seem like vicious criminals, but one should always be wary of others.
If they really wanted to find the baby crocodile, why would they come to the deep mountains at night?
What is it that needs to be done here so late at night?
"So you really didn't consider seeing crocodiles here and wanting to sell them for money?"
"This crocodile is a nationally protected animal. Even if we were stupid, we wouldn't dare to have such a crooked idea!"
"Are you all soaking wet because you're trying to go into the water to retrieve the submerged wood?"
Lin Feng's eyes sharpened; this was the question he cared about most.
"That's what we were planning to do, but as soon as we went into the water, we were attacked by a group of crocodiles! Then we were hung up this tree!"
The Bai brothers were devastated; they regretted coming to this godforsaken place to try and salvage some ebony.
Bai Lu stood to the side, watching Lin Feng interrogate the prisoner, a slight smile playing on her lips.
"Your trap is indeed very clever!"
Lin Feng raised his eyebrows smugly, and the viewers in the live stream started spamming "666".
"Of course."
As he spoke, he took a bundle of rope out of his backpack and walked to the tree.
"You can stay here and reflect on your actions. We'll let you down when it's light!"
The Bai brothers looked at each other in dismay. They were in the middle of nowhere, and the thought of being hung up all night was unbearable.
[Well done, anchor!]
Let these guys experience what it's like to be tied up!
Haha, that was an amazing move!
"Brother, can't you be a little more lenient? We didn't do anything!"
Lin Feng: "Tolerance? When you almost strangled it, why didn't you think of being tolerant? Now you want me to be tolerant?"
"But we couldn't find it to untangle the wire later!"
"It's all a misunderstanding, brother. We were really wrong!"
Lin Feng: "In that case, we'll take you back first and hand you over to our superiors for processing tomorrow!"
Fang He untied the nets binding them and tied them up with rope.
Let's take them back first and put them in the pigpen with the other pigs.
At night, the two brothers were tied up and placed in the pigsty.
The two men were tied up on the cement ground.
There were large sows and piglets all around in the corner.
The two of them looked disgusted.
...
One night passed.
The weather was still a bit chilly in the morning.
Lin Feng put on his coat and prepared a pot of pig feed, then made himself a portion.
The tiger cubs clung to Lin Feng's trouser legs, begging him to give them some water.
Helpless, Lin Feng simply poured some pig feed into the little guys' ear bowls.
The tiger cubs slurped up their pig feed.
Why is this little tiger being fed like a pig?!
They quickly filled two more buckets and took them to feed the pigs.
As he approached the pigpen, he noticed that a large section of the fence had been knocked down by something.
Even the stone pig trough was overturned.
The pigsty looked as if it had just been through World War II, with the entire area smashed up.
The soil was scattered and disordered everywhere.
Lin Feng put the bucket aside to cool.
Upon entering the pigsty, they saw the two brothers tied together.
Lin Feng: "You've been here the whole time? What happened?"
Boss Bai: "Wild boars came at night, and seeing there was no food, they started groping the sow! They have no manners whatsoever!"
I can't believe such a thing actually happened!
Wild boars these days are becoming less and less like human beings!
Lin Feng: "Okay, I'll have someone come and deal with the wild boar, and then take you two away."
After several days of feeding, the sow recognized the person in front of her as Lin Feng.
The chubby body rubbed against Lin Feng.
His small eyes were filled with anxiety, as if he hadn't eaten all day.
Hmm hmm hmm.
Lin Feng touched the sow's belly; it was indeed empty.
(Hungry, food is coming!)
(Give me food!)
"Alright, alright, there's still one bucket left, I'll bring it to you!"
Lin Feng gently patted the sow to comfort her.
When they returned, they found that the entire bucket of pig feed had been eaten clean.
