Lin Feng slapped the completed isolation zone diagram in front of Captain Yao.
"Captain Yao, hurry up! According to this map, immediately lead your men to establish an isolation zone!"
Captain Yao picked up the blueprints and frowned.
"Lin Feng, what's the rush about so early in the morning?" Captain Yao said, taking a bite of his steamed bun.
I sat leisurely in a grand chair and brewed myself a pot of tea.
"Oh dear, Captain Yao, it's extremely urgent! Look at this picture!"
Lin Feng pointed to the area marked in red on the map.
"This place really needs to be taken very seriously!"
Captain Yao was amused by him.
He asked casually, "It's so early in the morning, are you still asleep? What's the rush? Let me see!"
Lin Feng spread the blueprints out on the table and pointed to the dense lines.
"Look at this image, it's incredibly precise, I created it using the latest technology. Do you know how much effort I put into it?"
"If we wait any longer, it will really be too late!"
Captain Yao glanced at the blueprints and frowned. There were many small details on the blueprints that they hadn't noticed before.
He couldn't help but show a look of surprise.
"Wow, your map is incredibly detailed! You even managed to include areas that aren't marked on satellite images! It's really impressive!"
Captain Yao sighed, remarking that Lin Feng usually did things in a leisurely and unreliable manner.
Today, however, he became unusually serious and earnest.
His tone softened.
Although it's unclear why Lin Feng was in such a hurry to build isolation barriers.
However, he knew that the fire prevention period would begin in two months.
It's a bit early to set up isolation barriers now.
Indeed, it can be prevented before things happen.
"Okay, don't rush. I'll eat another bun and then immediately organize people to build the firebreak according to your blueprints."
Lin Feng snatched the last steamed bun from Captain Yao: "Hurry up, everyone's strength is great, call more people, I'll eat the last bun for you."
"Why??"
My steamed buns~
He's clearly the leader of the forest rangers, so how come he's been outmaneuvered by this kid?
Lin Feng: "Everyone says that the weather is dry and windy in the summer, and there are many trees in the forest. Especially since poplars and podocarpus were just planted recently, there are also tens of thousands of acres of bamboo forest and towering ancient trees!"
He pointed to a spot circled in red on the drawing.
"I think we should go to the area with the ancient spruce trees first!"
"Okay, let's go there first!" Captain Yao reluctantly chewed the last bite of his bun and mumbled, "Alright, whatever you say."
He thought to himself: This kid is starting to boss me around.
However, seeing Lin Feng's serious attitude, Captain Yao felt quite gratified.
The future ultimately belongs to the young, and everyone wants to see more rising stars emerge.
This kid has finally been reliable for once.
They immediately began allocating manpower.
Soon all the staff at the forest protection station base joined the team building firebreaks.
The long procession wound its way up the rugged mountain road.
Lin Feng walked at the front, holding blueprints in his hand, and stopped from time to time to observe the terrain.
Captain Yao followed behind him, occasionally looking up at the sky and then at Lin Feng.
"How did you find such a remote place?"
Looking at the locations he chose, they were mostly covered with a thin layer of fallen leaves, which would produce the best firebreaks.
And unlike in other countries, it doesn't burn continuously once a fire starts.
Lin Feng suddenly turned around and said to Captain Yao.
“I had already surveyed the terrain when I was patrolling the mountain before. The species selected within a 200-meter radius are basically not easy to catch fire, which naturally and effectively forms a natural biological firebreak.”
Captain Yao paused for a moment, then gave a thumbs up.
"Not bad, kid, you've got some skills!"
Lin Feng smiled smugly and continued to bury himself in studying the blueprints.
He suddenly stopped and pointed to a barren open space in front of him.
"This is it!"
Captain Yao stepped forward: "Let's start working from here!"
At Captain Yao's command, everyone sprang into action.
Viewers were utterly shocked watching the live stream.
[How come the streamer is kind of handsome?]
[This is the first time I've seen such a long line of people making firebreaks. I'm a little excited, isn't that something?]
[But could such a large area of forest really cause a fire? How long would it take to dig such a long route?]
"Actually, it won't be slow to operate. Just watch and see!"
"If a fire really breaks out, helicopters will come to drop water, and the firebreaks will be able to more effectively stop the fire from spreading."
Lin Feng pointed to the direction of the firebreak on the blueprint.
Captain Yao nodded.
The forest rangers cleared a path ahead with their tools.
Firefighters followed closely behind, using igniters to control the fire and burn away some of the weeds.
The fire quickly turned into a long dragon, and all the vegetation in the firebreak area that the forest rangers had dug earlier was ignited.
Several fire trucks rumbled behind the main force, each firefighter carrying a fire extinguisher and water, ready to extinguish any flames that were out of control.
Lin Feng said to Captain Yao, "By burning the vegetation in this area, we should be done."
The viewers in the live stream were still confused, but the comment section became noticeably more active.
Wait a minute, aren't you firefighters supposed to put out fires? Why are you setting fires here?
