Chapter 289 Request for Review

"Oh, you're reviewing? What kind of exam do you think this is? The college entrance exam?" The counselor sneered, "Stop struggling in vain and just go back to class."

"This is not a struggle. I am defending my normal rights." Liu Huanyi rested one hand on the counselor's desk and said word by word: "I request a review of my grades."

The counselor was inexplicably shocked by her aura. After a moment of silence, he said angrily, "Liu Huanyi, don't go too far. Do you think the whole school revolves around you? I have a lot of things on hand and I don't have time to accompany you."

Before Liu Huanyi could speak, there was a knock on the door.

The counselor yelled angrily, "Who is it? I'm busy right now. If you have anything to do, please come tomorrow."

"Teacher Wang."

The principal's voice sounded outside the door. The counselor was startled and hurried to open the door, nodding and bowing to the principal with a smile.

"Principal, why are you here? Please come in."

After the principal entered, he nodded directly to Liu Huanyi and said, "Student Liu, how are you?"

Liu Huanyi simply greeted the principal, "Hello."

"I heard that you are doing an internship recently. Which company do you work for?"

"The Huo family."

Liu Huanyi admitted that it was quite prestigious to work at Huo's company. At least when the principal asked, she could say Huo's name without hesitation.

"That's great. Huo's is a big company, and you can go there for an internship before you graduate. Student Liu, you have a bright future." The principal patted Liu Huanyi's shoulder appreciatively.

The counselor wanted to interrupt but couldn't, so he could only stand there and worry.

"By the way, I heard you guys arguing just now. What were you arguing about?"

The counselor finally got the chance and said quickly, "Principal, Liu Huanyi took the advanced exam but failed. She was not convinced and insisted that I pick out her score from dozens of exam papers for review. How is that possible?"

The counselor tried his best to describe his busy work, hoping that the principal would not only help him reject Liu Huanyi's request, but also affirm his work.

The principal said, "There are dozens of test papers in total. Is it so difficult to find one?"

"No...it's not that difficult." The counselor thought to himself, that's not right, the principal came here specifically to protect Liu Huanyi.

"Okay, that's what you said. Teacher Wang, I don't want you to have not solved this matter next time I ask about it."

The principal put his hands behind his back, nodded to Liu Huanyi, and turned to leave.

The counselor hurried to see him off. After seeing the principal off, he cursed in his heart: It's almost time to get off work, but he's still dealing with so many things.

But he still remained polite to Liu Huanyi.

"Come with me."

The counselor took Liu Huanyi to an office, which was decorated in a simple and elegant style. The whole room was filled with bookcases, all of which were filled with homework and test papers used to meet the inspection needs of superiors.

There were countless papers on the big desk in the middle. The instructor raised his chin and looked at Liu Huanyi arrogantly, "Your papers for the skipping exam are also in there. Find them yourself."

The counselor deliberately wanted to make fun of Liu Huanyi. He could flip through the test papers worth dozens of points quickly or slowly, all depending on Liu Huanyi's hand speed.

Liu Huanyi didn't take it seriously. He started flipping through the papers immediately and soon finished flipping through the entire stack of test papers.

None of hers.

"Are there any other test papers? There are none in this stack."

"How could it be that there is none?" The counselor knocked on the table impatiently. "You insisted on rechecking your results. Now I bring you here to find the test paper. If you can't find it yourself, it's none of my business."

Liu Huanyi nodded, "Teacher, I didn't say it was your fault, but I really couldn't find my test paper. Why don't you look for it?"

"What will you say if I find you?" The counselor crossed his arms, having already thought about it. He was just waiting for Liu Huanyi to take the initiative to ask him out for dinner.

But Liu Huanyi just said: "Teacher, why don't you find it first."

The counselor flipped through the papers very quickly, finishing the stack of skipping grade examination papers in less than a few minutes.

There is indeed no test paper of Liu Huanyi.

His face changed slightly. The theft of the test paper was no small matter, but he always felt it was impossible.

The test paper was well placed in the archives room, it couldn't have run away on its own.

"Impossible, I must have read it too quickly just now. Let me read it again."

Liu Huanyi stood aside and watched him slow down and look again, but still couldn't find her test paper.

"Teacher, I need an explanation."

The counselor had beads of sweat on his forehead and had to agree first.

"I see. I'm off work today. As soon as I get back to work tomorrow, I'll ask the graders if they've seen your test paper."

Liu Huanyi reluctantly accepted this solution and came out of the archives room. Feng Yu immediately walked up to her.

"How's it going? Did you find your test paper?"

Liu Huanyi shook his head and said, "I haven't found it yet. I'll look for it again tomorrow."

"It's not like someone stole your test paper. If the teachers didn't correct your test paper, you wouldn't get a grade, let alone pass the advanced examination."

The more Feng Yu talked, the more she felt that this was the case, but she was afraid that she was thinking too much about human nature.

Liu Huanyi had also thought about this possibility, but now he could only wait for the counselor to contact the teacher.

It was a rare opportunity to return to school, so Liu Huanyi and Feng Yu had a simple meal, but while they were eating, an uninvited guest arrived.

"Liu Huanyi, I heard that you didn't pass the grade-skipping exam. Don't be too disappointed." Zhao Xinzi spoke to her gently, encouraging her.

But Liu Huanyi felt something was wrong, so he ignored her.

"kindness."

Zhao Xinzi got herself into trouble and left in shame.

Feng Yu was surprised, "Huan Yi, why are you so cold to her? Do you hate her?"

Liu Huanyi thought about it and realized that she really hated Zhao Xinzi, so she nodded and admitted it generously.

"Hate."

"I don't like her either." Feng Yu stuck out his tongue.

The next morning, Liu Huanyi went straight to the counselor's office and waited for him to find the test paper for him.

"Liu Huanyi, why are you so persistent?"

The counselor saw her and couldn't help but frowned, "I will find it, don't worry."

"Well, I'll watch you look for it."

Isn't this a disease? The counselor cursed in his heart.

"Okay, just watch me find it."

If she wasn't allowed to watch, she might go and complain to the principal.

This morning, the counselor and Liu Huanyi spent all day in the archive room, not only searching through the papers on the table, but also looking through the papers on the shelves nearby.

"You don't need to look over there. That's from five years ago. Your paper will definitely not appear there."

The counselor was sweating profusely as he searched, wondering why he couldn't find it.

The papers are all here!

He quickly contacted the teachers who graded the papers and asked whether they had graded Liu Huanyi's paper.

"We grade all the papers in a sealed format, so you can't see the names."

Only the teacher who was counting the scores thought seriously, "Come to think of it, I don't think I saw her test paper."
