Chapter 1 God-Level Zoo System

At the end of June, in the sweltering heat of summer, graduation caps were tossed into the air, and a camera snapped a picture, capturing the final second of four years.

After dragging two suitcases into her father's trunk, Su Zhou plopped down in the back seat. The cool air inside the car dispelled the heat from her body, and she waved to her college roommate with a smile.

During her four years of university, Su Zhou was a local, while her three roommates came from different provinces. Due to differences in schedules, personalities, and other factors, her relationship with her roommates was only superficial. The university was one of the top universities in the country, and many students had clear future plans during their university years. Su Zhou was an exception.

Her parents are known for their laid-back attitude and never pushed their child too hard. Su Zhou relied entirely on herself for her studies. Influenced by this family style, she naturally didn't compete or strive for anything, and just coasted along. Apart from getting the necessary certifications and maintaining a decent GPA, she traveled to more than 30 countries during her senior year of college and didn't participate in the campus recruitment process.

“Zhouzhou, it’s your graduation day, let’s go out for a nice meal. Your old man will cook for you.” Su Zhou’s father was driving, wearing a beaded bracelet on his arm.

Su Zhou nodded. Her family owned a chain of restaurants, and her father's cooking skills were indeed excellent. However, apart from major holidays, she rarely got to eat his cooking.

The scenery of the campus receded little by little, but Su Zhou felt no ripples in her heart. For her, university life was just a small part of her journey through life.

The soft, electronic synthesized voice, with its exaggerated tone, suddenly appeared in Su Zhou's mind as her father in the front seat was nodding and swaying to the DJ. Su Zhou initially thought she was hallucinating. She strained her ears; the DJ's drumbeats were loud and rhythmic. Su Zhou hadn't quite understood why her father liked "rustic" DJs before, but after she got her driver's license and sat in the driver's seat herself, she understood.

This system is dedicated to helping the host become wealthy and achieve the pinnacle of life!

Still struggling to find a job? Still feeling lost about your future? The God-Level Zoo System, your little helper to get rich!

The mechanical voice appeared in Su Zhou's mind again, and she asked somewhat blankly, "Dad, are you listening to melodramatic novels again?"

Besides playing DJ music while driving, Dad's other hobby is playing melodramatic novels on the loudspeaker, often featuring things like "systems," so it's no wonder Su Zhou asked him about it.

Hearing his daughter's question, Su Yunhai scratched his head: "No, I'm playing music right now, why would I be listening to an audiobook? Honey, you must be hallucinating."

Auditory hallucination?

Su Zhou thought about it and realized that it was impossible not to feel anxious as graduation approached. All three of her roommates had received good job offers. Although her family was well-off, she was easily influenced by her environment. It was normal to experience auditory hallucinations while feeling anxious and giving up. So she stopped worrying about it.

Half an hour later, Su Yunhai placed Su Zhou's suitcase on the ground with both hands. Su Zhou, wearing headphones, squinted her almond-shaped eyes and praised, "Dad has great arm strength."

Although the villa wasn't very large, it was still quite expensive in Beijing, where land is incredibly valuable. Passing through the sunken courtyard, Su Zhou could smell the faint aroma of pork rib soup from afar. Back in her room, she arranged her suitcase. Su Yunhai had said he'd personally demonstrate his skills today, so Wang Xingyue assisted him in the kitchen.

Computers, tablets, textbooks, and clothes were all neatly arranged.

Su Zhou was lying in bed when she suddenly noticed an app with a panda icon in the corner of her phone. It was pixelated. She liked playing games, and besides MOBA games, she especially liked simulation management games. However, she had played all the well-known management games on the market and had never heard of an app with this icon.

"God-level Zoo, what a corny name. I don't think it'll get many downloads." Su Zhou looked at the app's name and made a small, merciless critique, but out of curiosity, she decided to click and take a look. Suddenly, a brilliant idea popped into her head.

etc--

The synthesized electronic voices I heard in the car not long ago seemed to be related to some kind of amazing zoo. Could it be that I accidentally downloaded this thing? These days, ad redirects are really outrageous. You can easily download something to your phone without even realizing it. But no matter what the reason, Su Zhou became a little curious about this ugly-cute app.

She clicked on it and found that the app was similar to common management simulation games on the market, but with more complete functions.

There are gold coins, experience points, and so on. The warehouse has many slots, and in addition to the original ten slots, the remaining slots are all waiting to be unlocked. The colorful ink painting style is sophisticated and not vulgar. Su Zhou murmured softly, "It seems to be a crystal clear ink painting style game. The art style is quite nice, and the color scheme is also very comfortable."

Currently, only the zoo section is unlocked. Clicking the zoo icon reveals that only the African lion, camel, peacock enclosure, and chimpanzee enclosures are open. Looking at the encyclopedia, there are countless animals, but most are grayed out. Clearly, you need to collect and unlock something to unlock the encyclopedia, which usually requires spending real money.

Su Zhou has concluded that, in addition to the zoo, there are other modules such as an aquarium, restaurants, water parks, and commercial streets waiting to be unlocked.

As a collector, Su Zhou's hobby in games is collecting. If there is an illustration, she wants to collect the whole illustration; if there is no illustration, she wants to collect all the skins and so on. After just one glance at this app, she decided to collect all the animals and unlock all the modules.

Just then, an unfamiliar phone call came in.

The phone number was local and appeared to be a personal number. Even though Su Zhou had no recollection of the number, she still chose to answer it.

"Hello, is this Ms. Su Zhou? Oh, it's like this, the zoo has been transferred to your name. When would you like to come and pick up the relevant contracts?"

"Contract? Zoo?" Su Zhou stood by the window, looking at the slightly withered roses under the blazing sun, and nodded, puzzled. "Oh, I see."

I went downstairs, but the food wasn't ready yet.

Su Zhou shouted to her parents, "Mom and Dad, I'm going out to get something. I'll be right back."

During the summer after she finished her college entrance exams, Su Yunhai and Wang Xingyue bought her a car to encourage her to take the driving test. She drove the car to the forestry department, market supervision department, and other relevant departments to complete the formalities. Watching the property rights be transferred to her name, Su Zhou felt like she was in a dream.

She whispered, "Uncle, who owned this private zoo before? How did it suddenly become my name?"

"Oh, it's a distant relative of yours who said in his will that he would leave this zoo to you."
