Chapter Sixty-One: Grand Opening Sale for the Commercial Street

The little white tiger's limp body curled up in Su Zhou's arms. The autumn night breeze carried a rich fragrance of flowers. The zoo at night was even more beautiful. The exterior came with benches, streetlights, trash cans, etc. The streetlights looked like decorations during the day, but at night, their light resembled jellyfish swimming in the deep sea.

Hearing the little white tiger's mixed feelings of fear and satisfaction, Su Zhou quickened her pace.

The zoo currently closes at 8:30 PM, but this time at night can actually be utilized. Su Zhou remembers that many places she visited had light shows at night, with different lanterns offering different and breathtaking views.

Fushan has become incredibly popular due to the zoo's popularity, leading to the emergence of small vendors in the vicinity. Some elderly people even buy milk tea from nearby stores at a lower price and sell it here. It's only one or two dollars more expensive than buying it in a store, and there's no need to queue, so business is quite good.

Su Zhou herself doesn't object to these people making some money by taking advantage of the zoo's popularity. There are just too many ways to make money in the world, and she can't be the only one to earn all the money.

The tiger exhibit was pitch black. Su Zhou turned on the light and saw Weiwei drinking water.

She placed the white tiger cub on the floor and said to Weiwei, "Weiwei, I've found you a new companion. This is also a Bengal tiger. You're the same species, so don't take advantage of it."

Weiwei was kept at Wanling Zoo for a while and gradually became fat and strong. He used to be cute, but now he looks like a burly man.

The little white tiger was still a bit afraid of unfamiliar surroundings, and kept baring its teeth when it saw Weiwei. Then, seeing meat in Weiwei's food bowl, it wagged its tail, walked over, and lowered its head to eat.

To simulate and recreate the animals' natural habitat, the tiger enclosure is very well-preserved and aesthetically pleasing. If a knowledgeable zoologist were to visit the zoo, they would surely notice that the zoo's design is actually a simulation of the Bengal tiger's natural environment, and even the tree species have been copied.

This is why all the animals at Wanling Zoo feel relaxed and comfortable, and they do not experience any discomfort even with a large number of visitors.

Weiwei took two steps back, then lay down on the ground again, the tip of its tail dipping into the water in the pool. It licked its fur, its posture casual and lazy.

It seems that Weiwei is very satisfied with its life at Wanling Zoo. Even with the addition of an albino Bengal tiger with a slightly different coat color, Weiwei has not shown any aggressive behavior.

As the saying goes, there can't be two tigers in one mountain.

Tigers are territorial, but there are always exceptions. The small animals at All Souls Zoo exhibited completely different behaviors.

"You were rescued from poachers. If it weren't for those kind uncles who brought you here, you might have lived a life of captivity from now on. To celebrate your new life, from now on you will be called Ping An. Let's focus on animal safety. No buying, no killing."

Weiwei is about four years old now, which is not old for a tiger, but he is a little older than Ping An.

Fortunately, Weiwei's robust physique allowed him to directly teach the tiger cubs how to be tigers.

Without the swear words she had learned from poachers, Su Zhou suddenly felt a profound silence descend upon the world.

"Peace and safety, what a good name. Actually, I hope there are no poachers in this world." Su Zhou breathed a sigh of relief as she looked at the two tigers together in a relatively harmonious scene.

Building an animal exhibit—to be honest, despite the name, Su Zhou didn't really put herself in a superior position. Since gaining the ability to hear the animals' thoughts, she discovered that different breeds and individuals have different personalities. While it's an exhibit, it's also their habitat, and Su Zhou wanted to do everything she could to make it as comfortable as possible. However, if two tigers didn't get along, it would indeed be a problem for her, as building a brand new exhibit was quite a strain on her not-so-wealthy account.

Leaving the tiger exhibit, I looked at the lights that shimmered in the night, like bioluminescent plankton in the deep sea.

She touched her chin. The zoo's night view was indeed quite nice. If she had the chance, it wouldn't be unreasonable to just buy two zoo tickets.

The time from 6 pm to midnight can be fully utilized, but compared to light pollution, Su Zhou hopes that the zoo at night will at least be more well-designed to attract tourists to visit the zoo at night, or like other zoos, to offer group tickets that allow visitors to visit at night.

She walked along the garden path and saw Aunt Sun loosening the soil in a small, secluded vegetable garden. Looking at the time, it was already past ten o'clock. She herself was a little weak and needed to recover for a long time after finishing each task; she really couldn't ignore the hardships endured by the previous generation.

"Aunt Sun, are you still tending to the vegetable garden so late?" Su Zhou asked casually as she walked over.

Under the moonlight, Aunt Sun was still busy and sweating profusely. She nodded, her wrinkles crinkling into a smile: "That's right, we can plant another batch before winter comes. It will be so nice to have hot pot on a snowy day."

It shouldn't be just psychological; Su Zhou genuinely felt that Fushan had a certain spiritual quality about it. The vegetables Aunt Sun grew were sweet and delicious, even better than the vegetables from her own chain restaurant. You know, Su Yunhai had a dedicated market to maintain the reputation of his brand, but even that wasn't of this quality.

Her parents spoiled her until she was over twenty. She lived a comfortable and carefree life and never thought that she would inherit the family business in the future. But now it seems that the soil here can directly benefit the family's vegetable garden.

Su Zhou always wanted to help her parents, but unfortunately, her father was a master chef while she herself was a complete novice in the kitchen. She was considered diligent if she could even cook instant noodles for herself.

The system store sells a lot of things, so starting a farm wouldn't be bad.
