Chapter 32 Meow sees the bad guy

Chapter 32 Meow sees the bad guy

Little Lihua and Little Sanhua walked through the crowd and came to the fried skewers stall set up by grandma, meowing at the elderly man.

"Grandma, the bad guy with a hidden knife is coming this way, please be careful."

The old man didn't understand what the little cat was saying. Seeing the little cat rubbing against him, he thought the little cat was hungry, so he took a sausage from the stall and put it in front of the little cat, "You're hungry, come and eat."

"Hurry up and leave after you finish eating. Grandma still needs to set up the stall. When she's done, I'll prepare some delicious food for you."

Little Lihua didn't eat the sausage given by grandma, but rubbed against grandma's legs even harder.

"What's wrong with you two today? You don't even want to eat your favorite sausage. How about grandma give you some pork tenderloin instead?" Grandma said lovingly and was about to throw the skewered pork tenderloin into the wok.

Before the old man could throw the food into the pot, Lin Ting hurried forward to stop him and said, "These two cats are not hungry, they are here to remind you that there is danger and ask you to be careful."

The old man looked at Lin Ting who suddenly appeared in surprise.

"I set up a stall here every day, where is the danger?" the old man asked back.

"Little Lihua saw someone coming this way with a knife hidden in his sleeve, so they wanted to come over to remind you." Lin Tingtong explained to the old man.

The old lady stared at Lin Ting with a slow reaction.

This little girl doesn't look like she's lying, but what she says is hard to understand.

However, when Little Lihua realized that Lin Ting could understand what she said, she jumped into Lin Ting's arms. Lin Ting stroked Little Lihua's chin and asked gently, "Did you see what the man with the knife looked like?"

There are too many people in the mall, and if you don’t have any specific characteristics, trying to find a potential bad guy is like looking for a needle in a haystack.

'The bad guy was wearing a hat and shabby clothes.'

According to research, cats can't distinguish many colors.

Aside from the hat, the color of the clothing cannot be fully discerned by the cat.

But in this season, and at noon, most people would wear hats when going out.

Meow

"Meow, I saw a bad guy."

Sanhua, who was squatting at Lin Ting's feet, rushed into the crowd and ran towards the supermarket. However, Sanhua didn't make it into the supermarket and was stopped by the security guard at the entrance. The security guard grabbed Sanhua's neck with one hand and shouted to the crowd, "Whose cat is this?"

Lin Ting and the old lady guarding the stall came over one after the other. The old lady hurriedly took the cat from the security guard's hand and said, "This is my cat."

The security guard returned the cat to the old lady and said, "Be careful, keep an eye on the cat. This is a supermarket and small animals are not allowed in."

"I know, I know." The old lady hugged the kitten and apologized to the security guard with a smile.

But the kitten in the old lady's arms cried excitedly.

'The bad guys are in.'

After hearing this, Lin looked at the security guard who was about to turn around and enter the supermarket, "Wait a minute, a man holding a dagger just entered the supermarket."

"Little girl, please stop talking nonsense. We don't allow controlled knives to enter our supermarket. Even if you do, our inspection machine will alarm. So many people just entered, and the machine didn't sound at all. Maybe you saw it wrong."

The security guard obviously didn't believe what Lin Ting said.

"We saw with our own eyes that man hide the dagger in his sleeve and blend into the crowd to enter the supermarket. Could it be that your machine didn't make a sound because there were so many people entering that it couldn't recognize it at first?"

Lin Ting was holding a meowing kitten in his arms and was still trying to explain to the security guard.

Originally, the old lady had some doubts about Lin Ting, but when she saw how firmly Lin Ting spoke, she suddenly became a little shaken.

"Our Doctor Lin can communicate with animals. The two kittens saw it with their own eyes, so he can't be wrong. If you don't believe me, you can go in and check it out. It's not the best idea. What if someone really is carrying a controlled knife and it poses a danger to other customers? That would be bad." Bai Xi stood by to support his boss.

Through a series of events, Bai Xi not only believed that his boss could really communicate with animals, but also admired his boss very much.

Anger gradually surfaced on the security guard's face. "You guys must have watched too much TV. Communicating with animals?"

"Little girl, stop messing around here and leave immediately. If you continue to mess around, I will call for help."

The security guard pulled out the intercom from his waist and was about to call for help.

Lin Ting was too lazy to explain. He handed the little tabby girl in his arms to the grandmother next to him and walked past the security guard to the supermarket.

Bai Xi jogged to catch up with Lin Ting.

As soon as they stepped into the supermarket entrance, they saw a man wearing a baseball cap and a gray sweatshirt quickly pull out a dagger from his sleeve and point it at a cashier, "Hand over all the money."

Faced with the sudden change, the female cashier's face turned pale with fright, and the barcode scanner in her hand was shaking.

Seeing this, the nearby customers stepped back, fearing that the situation would affect them.

"I'll get it for you." The female cashier's voice was trembling as she reached for the cash drawer.

The knife-wielding man's attention was attracted by the female cashier's action of taking money. It was because of this distraction that Lin Ting, who arrived later, picked up the can on the shelf at the door and quickly hit the knife-wielding man's arm.

There was a loud bang, and the dagger fell to the ground with a flash of light. The man who was hit screamed belatedly.

Lin Ting breathed a sigh of relief.

Fortunately, I didn’t forget the shooting skills I learned when I was a child. At least my accuracy is pretty good.

"I sound really good, have you practiced this before?" Bai Xi couldn't help but give a thumbs up.

Lin Ting nodded, "I guess so."

The security guard who arrived later quickly stepped forward and subdued the man.

The security captain who had just stopped Lin Ting came forward with an apologetic look on his face, "I'm sorry, little girl. I misunderstood you just now."

"Thank you for helping us so much in time." The security captain lowered his head and did not dare to look into Lin Ting's eyes.

Just now he didn't believe the girl and even spoke rudely to her. If the girl hadn't taken action in time to recover the loss, he would have lost his job today.

"It's okay, there might be something wrong with the detection machine at your door." Lin Ting immediately changed the subject.

The security captain nodded repeatedly, "We've sent someone to report the problem."

The security captain had just subdued the man when Si Chen led his team over from the other side.

The security captain handed the robber over to Wu Dachuan and others.

Si Chen came to Lin Ting's side, and looked her over with deep eyes. Seeing that she was not injured, his heart, which had been tense all the way, could not help but relax. "Miss Lin, in the future, if something dangerous happens like this, please call the police immediately and try not to get involved. If there are accomplices nearby, or if they fight back, it will be troublesome."

"I get it. I'll try not to do it again next time." Lin Ting always felt that the person in front of him looked familiar, but he couldn't remember where he had seen him before.
