Chapter 428: Sneaking Down the Mountain
"Sister Ting, go back to your room and have a good rest. I'll go buy it for you right away." Bai Xi first escorted Lin Ting to the floor where she lived, then he raised his hand and pressed the first floor button. The elevator closed and went down again.
Lin Ting swiped her card to enter the room. She threw her backpack on the sofa, walked into the bedroom of the suite, picked up her pajamas on the bed, and walked to the bathroom.
Just as she entered the bathroom, a little green head popped out of the backpack she had left on the sofa.
The little head looked around the room, and seeing that there was no one around, it slowly crawled out of the schoolbag. It first climbed down from the sofa, and used the table legs to climb onto the coffee table. On the coffee table was the sweet water duck that she had not finished eating last night.
The little guy leaned forward and took a bite. It tasted very delicious. The little guy turned his head to look in the direction of the bathroom. Seeing that Lin Ting had no intention of coming out, the little guy buried his head in the disposable plate and started eating with big mouthfuls.
Although the little guy has teeth, he mainly eats by swallowing and relies on digestion afterwards. He devoured several pieces of sweet water duck in no time and even licked the soup inside clean.
After a long time, the sound of water in the bathroom suddenly stopped. The little guy who was just stealing food took a panicked look and climbed down the table leg again.
Just at this moment, Lin Ting suddenly pushed the door open and came out, holding a towel in her hand, wiping her wet hair.
The doorbell of the room rang, and along with the doorbell, Bai Xi's voice rang, "Open the door, sister, I bought all the snacks you asked for."
Lin Ting walked forward in slippers and wiped his hair to open the door for Bai Xi. Bai Xi was carrying a schoolbag on his back and a lot of bags in his hands. It was obvious that he did not go back to the room, but went directly to the snack street he mentioned.
"We bought so much, can we finish it?"

"Put the food on the coffee table first. I'm going to blow dry my hair. We'll eat together later. I'm afraid I can't eat so much by myself." After hearing this, Lin turned around and went back into the bathroom.
Bai Xi followed Lin Ting's instructions, put the things on the coffee table obediently, and opened all the packing bags.
Most of the food is freshly made. The moment the package is opened, hot steam comes out, along with the aroma of food.
The little guy hiding under the sofa smelled the sweet smell and couldn't help but stick his head out from under the table.
As soon as its head popped out, it met Bai Xi's eyes. The man and the snake were stunned for three seconds. Bai Xi then made a sharp explosion, and the Bamboo Leaf Green Snake shrank back into the sofa at the fastest speed.
Hearing the sound, Lin Ting quickly put down the hair dryer and ran out, "What happened?"
Bai Xi was so frightened that she fell to the ground. After seeing Lin heard it, she pointed under the sofa with a pale face and stammered, "Snake, there is a snake under me."
"The hotel conducts security checks every day. How could a snake get in? Did you see it wrong?" Lin Ting asked instinctively.
Bai Xi shook her head like a rattle, but her tone was remarkably firm. "Listen, sister, believe me, I definitely didn't see anything. I was just unpacking the bag when a green snake popped its head out. It heard me scream and then shrank back down in fear."
"Listen sister, I'm not dazzled. There's absolutely nothing wrong with my eyes." Afraid that Lin wouldn't believe him, Bai Xi frantically proved it.
Lin Ting's eyes suddenly fell on the plate of sweet duck that she hadn't finished last night.
She was too sleepy last night and forgot to throw it away after eating. There should have been a few pieces of meat left in it, but now there is nothing left. If someone didn't come in and eat it, then it must have been eaten by some small animals.
"What color snake did you just say you saw?" Lin Ting asked calmly.
Bai Xi said without hesitation, "Green. The head is a lush green, no other colors at all."

When leaving the reserve, she placed the bamboo green snake on the plate of the little golden monkey, and then the bamboo green snake disappeared all of a sudden. She was saying goodbye to the golden monkey and the pandas, so naturally she didn't pay much attention to it.
The color of the bamboo green pit viper was so similar to the nearby grass that she was not worried at all about its ability to survive in the forest.

Bai Xi was so frightened that his face turned pale. He hid his strong body behind Lin Ting, his fingers grabbing the corner of Lin Ting's pajamas, like a child who was afraid of being abandoned.
"When did you get into my bag?" Lin Ting stepped forward and picked up the Bamboo Leaf Green Ghost from the ground.
"When the human said goodbye to the monkey, the snake saw the human's bag and put it on the ground, so the snake crawled into it."
"That's good of you to drill. Don't drill again next time. Do you know that the human world is very dangerous? If you are caught by humans, they will soak you in wine and make you into a medicinal snake.
Even if you don't get caught, there are cars everywhere and you could get run over if you're not careful." Lin Ting said calmly.
"The snake wasn't running around, and it wasn't discovered by humans. This was an accident."
Zhuyeqing's words were suggestive.
Lin Ting followed Zhuyeqing's gaze and looked at Bai Xi, who was hiding as far away as possible. If possible, Bai Xi would probably hide in her bedroom.
She rubbed her brows helplessly. "Go call Assistant Zhang from the research institute and ask her to send over an incubator to prevent this little guy from running around at night out of curiosity. It would be terrible if he ran into other rooms through the pipes and scared the guests. I'll go into the mountains and take him back tomorrow."
After receiving Lin Ting's signal, Bai Xi immediately called the research institute.
Zhuyeqing wrapped its body around Lin Ting's fingers, raised its head, and tried to look directly into Lin Ting's eyes.
