Time flies, and two days later, the princess's residence hosted a grand banquet.
When Cen Xi woke up early in the morning, she saw that the princess's residence was decorated with lanterns and colorful streamers. Shen Jinchen, who had not appeared for two days, had taken a day off and appeared in front of Cen Xi dressed in a very presentable manner, waiting for her to wash up.
"The entire Shen family has arrived?"

Shen Jinchen looked at her beautiful features and felt a little itchy, but he still remembered what Feng Qin had said, so his attitude remained neutral.
"Alright! Let's go!"
Cen Xi is actually quite easy to talk to as long as you don't pressure her too much. Now that they're married, she has to give Shen Jinchen face.
Upon entering the flower hall and seeing the room full of elders, Cen Xi felt a little dizzy. The handsome and refined middle-aged man at the top must be General Shen.

Cen Xi smiled and glanced at Shen Youji, then gave instructions to the maid in green beside her.
"Yes! Behind the princess."
The woman in green responded and then went to serve the tea.
To everyone's surprise, Shen Jinchen had already prepared everything and handed a cup of tea to Cen Xi.
"Everything's ready for you, use this one!"
With a smile, Shen Jinchen served Cen Xi the tea he had just prepared.
"good!"
Cen Xi took it, walked up to Shen Youji, and called out:
"Father, please have some tea."
"Good, good, good! My Shen family has finally lived up to the expectations of the person who entrusted you with this orphanage. Today, I accept the title of father on his behalf. I wish you both a long and happy life together."
After taking a sip of tea, Shen Youji took out a gift and handed it to Cen Xi, then laughed loudly.
"Is it all done?"
Cen Xi accepted the gift and then asked Shen Jinchen.
"It's all done, the ceremony is complete! Next, I would like to ask Your Highness to entertain the sisters of the Shen family. The luncheon will begin around 1:15 noon. Thank you for your trouble, Your Highness."
Shen Jinchen bowed to Cen Xi in a gentlemanly manner and then spoke.
"Why are you so serious today? I'm not used to it."
Cen Xi felt a chill run down her spine when she looked at him.
"This is the way of husband and wife. Princess, you should get used to it. I will take Father to the men's quarters first, and you can leave him to the princess."
Shen Jinchen gently stroked Cen Xi's hair, smiled and gave her a few instructions before leaving.
Only Cen Xi and the Shen family sisters remained.
"You may do as you please. Feel free to wander around the Princess's residence. When it's time for lunch, I will inform you to come for the lunch banquet."
Cen Xi felt she had nothing to talk about with the women in the room, so she decided to take Qingyi away to find some peace and quiet.
"Wait a minute, the princess brazenly stole our brother, shouldn't she show some remorse?"
Before Cen Xi could even step out of the flower hall, she was stopped by a woman in a pink dress, her face full of provocation.
"What should I say, Qingyi? I don't quite understand what she's saying."
Cen Xi pretended to be stupid.
"She probably wants a gift. Princess, have you prepared a gift?"
The woman in green glanced around and asked the seventeen or eighteen young ladies in the flower hall.
"No, I don't know how many juniors there are in the Shen family. Besides, it's not like I stole them. Why should I try to please them? This is the Princess's residence, and I am the most important person here. Giving General Shen face is already a great act of leniency from me. Do those nobodies even deserve my gifts?"
Cen Xi glanced at the various delicate and beautiful young ladies in the flower hall and said arrogantly.

"Qingyi, do you think that in the countryside, a shrew's cursing in the street is like her?"
Cen Xi ignored the woman and instead asked the woman in green beside her with a smile.
"Yes, I've met the princess before; she's even more exaggerated than those shrewish women."
The woman in green nodded solemnly as she watched from the side.
"Never mind then. If a dog bites you, you can't bite it back. Let's go back to the yard and rest."
Cen Xi had no interest in arguing with these people today. Let them make a scene, she thought. She was afraid of Shen Jinchen cleaning up the mess once they had enough.
