It was 8 p.m. on the 22nd.
After chatting with her girlfriends, Yu's mother finally realized that the Luo family members had all disappeared.
She wandered around her living room, but the family of three—no, the family of four—was nowhere to be found. Puzzled, she went to her husband's side.
"Niannian's dad, have you seen Luo Sheng and the others?"
Halfway through the birthday party, Mr. Yu suddenly remembered that he had forgotten about Mr. Luo.
"No, I was so busy I forgot. What's wrong? Can't you find them?"
"Yeah, we can't find them anywhere. They probably had something come up and went home."
Although Mr. and Mrs. Yu were a little puzzled, they quickly realized that something must have happened at the Luo family's place for them to leave without saying goodbye.
"Honey, should we make a call and ask?"
Song Yunhai, who was eavesdropping from the side, slowly sipped his wine. After hearing the conversation between the two, he felt much more relaxed.
The Luo family is not an easy family to deal with.
The daughter-in-law he found was no easy task either.
"Oh, Xiao Yu, don't worry about other people's business. They're probably dealing with something right now, so don't bother them. Come on, let's keep drinking and ignore them." Song Yunhai winked at his daughter-in-law and then pulled Yu's father away.
Having received a hint from Song Yunhai, Song's mother, with her keen insight, pulled Yu's mother away.

After Song's mother left with her mother, Yu Nian finally had some free time.
She had thought she would be nervous meeting Song Ci's mother for the first time, but she never expected to be this nervous.
However, after spending some time with them, Yu Nian discovered that Song's mother and father were actually just like Song's grandfather. They were easy to get along with and had a very interesting way of speaking; without realizing it, people couldn't help but want to get closer to them.
Indeed, birds of a feather flock together; Grandpa Song is so adorable, and Uncle Song and Aunt Song are just as adorable.
After working for most of the night, Yu Nian realized that it was past dinner time. She looked at the cake on the table and couldn't help but swallow.
She moved slowly toward the dining table, just as she lifted her skirt and took a step.
My other hand was grabbed from behind, and my fingertips touched it.
The next second, my whole hand was gripped tightly.
Yu Nian felt the warmth between her fingers, and the corners of her lips involuntarily curved upwards.
She took the opportunity to pull Song Ci forward, and he was suddenly in front of her.
I'm hungry.
"I want to eat cake."
"Can you give it to me?"
Yu Nian gently shook Song Ci's hand, her big eyes smiling and charming; she pleaded with him in a soft voice, hoping for his response.
Song Ci raised an eyebrow and chuckled softly.
He absolutely adored the way Yu Nian acted coquettishly towards him.
"Okay, let's go."
Song Ci grabbed her overly long skirt, took her hand, and led her in another direction.
As the cake on the table got further and further away from her, Yu Nian was filled with great doubt.
What are we going to do?
Just before the party started, Song Ci had already prepared a cake just for Yu Nian. He originally planned to give it to her when he had the chance, but guests kept arriving, and he ended up helping her greet them.
Having finally gotten the chance, Song Ci was interrupted by her own mother. Seeing the two chatting so enthusiastically, she didn't disturb them.
Yu Nian was led away from the hall by Song Ci and brought to the center of the garden, to the garden cottage that her family had set up at some point.
"Please come in."
Song Ci pushed open the door of the small house, inviting the protagonist of the evening to enter.
The overwhelming blue color made Yu Nian feel as if she were on the coast, even though she wasn't actually at sea.
Inside and outside, two completely different worlds.
The small hut, which was originally filled with clutter, has now been transformed into a lounge area similar to a café.
The walls, painted in icy blue tones, and the floor, depicting the blue sea and yellow sand, make it feel like strolling on a beach.
In the middle of the room was a round table and several chairs, with a pile of poppy bouquets still dripping with water on the table.
Surrounded by the bouquet was a cake sculpted in the shape of a piano.
The cake was small, and upon closer inspection, the lines on it were crooked and meandering.
It's obvious that someone did this on their own.
Happy birthday, Nian Nian.
"This is a gift from my grandpa, mom, dad, and me to you."
"And this little house was built with the consent of Uncle Yu and Aunt Yu."
It was Grandpa, Uncle Song, and Aunt Song who did it together with him.
"So when I came back from the studio this afternoon, I found you were all gone. So you were all hiding in the garden preparing this?"
Yu Nian was pleasantly surprised and explored the entire house, then discovered a wine-red cabinet in the corner.
She gently opened the cabinet and found it filled with wine gift boxes and gifts with packaging in different languages.
Yu Nian looked at Song Ci behind her, puzzled.
"What's this?"
Well...
Song Ci stepped forward and randomly picked out a few gifts, placing them in Yu Nian's hands.
"This part is red wine that Grandpa insisted on putting in himself. It should be the wine he collected while traveling abroad in recent years. It should taste pretty good."
"He said he wanted to give it to his good friend, who is also Niannian's father."
"And these flowers were prepared for you by my mother. She said you'll definitely like them."
"And another part consists of gifts I brought back from competitions abroad over the past few years as a fan of Yu Nian. I've always wanted to give them to you, but I haven't had the chance."
