Not only fans, but also Yu Nian and Luo Sheng have been looking forward to the Hangzhou Music Festival for a long time, and it's finally about to begin.
The Hangzhou concert was officially scheduled for 7 p.m. on Tuesday. Yu Nian and Luo Sheng flew from Nanyang to Hangzhou with their team on Monday, two days earlier than planned.
The Hangzhou Concert is held twice a year and attracts a large number of guests. When Yu Nianluosheng and Shen Ruan arrived at the hotel after getting off the plane, they encountered several groups of people, including the Mi siblings and popular singer Zheng Ziyi.
Today's Hangzhou Concerts are different from those of five years ago. Five years ago, the Hangzhou Concerts were small in scale and featured niche singers like Yu Nianluosheng. Now, the Hangzhou Concerts keep up with the times, and each concert brings together some highly popular and talented singers.
Yu Nian walked out of the hotel and arrived at the Hangzhou Concert Building. Looking up at the tall building in front of her, she could no longer recognize it as the small building where the concert was held five years ago.
"Miss Yu, we meet again." A voice came from behind. Yu Nian turned around and saw Mi Ke from Yuehua Studio.
"Mike, it's been a long time." Yu Nian nodded to him.
“I didn’t expect Miss Yu to remember me. It’s a pleasure to meet Miss Yu here.” Mi Ke pointed to his watch at Yu Nian, and then asked Yu Nian without thinking, “It’s six o’clock. Miss Yu, why don’t you come with me for dinner? I know Hangzhou well, and it’s on me today.”
Yu Nian glanced at her phone again, touched her stomach which was indeed a little hungry, and met Mi Ke's expectant gaze; "Okay."
"Then let's go, Miss Yu. There's a Chinese restaurant not far ahead. The dishes there are quite unique, and I think you'll like them."
When Yu Nian first met Mi Ke, she thought he would be a very aloof person. But after meeting him today, Yu Nian realized that she was wrong. This person seemed to be quite outgoing and a bit talkative.
"Don't call me Miss Yu, just call me Yu Nian, Mr. Mi Ke."
Miko was initially annoyed at arriving early, but for some reason, his mood improved the moment he saw Yu Nian: "Okay, Yu Nian, how's it going in Hangzhou? By the way, are you familiar with this building?"
Yu Nian nodded somewhat boredly: "Yeah, I think, I guess, we're quite familiar with it."
"It's good to be familiar with it. Now it's your turn to tell me where the toilet is, hahaha." She really knows how to rub salt in the wound. Yu Nian was so annoyed by everyone who brought this up with her.
That day, someone with a big mouth spread the word that she had to pee during the awards ceremony. And it got out of hand, but the story got more and more outrageous. It started with "having to pee" and then it became "urinating urgently," then it became "Yu Nian needed someone to accompany her to the toilet," and finally, it became "Yu Nian was constipated."
The worst part was that someone actually edited a video of Yu Nian fidgeting and frantically searching for a toilet during the awards ceremony because she urgently needed to pee. The video's title, "Yu Nian urgently needs to pee and is looking for a toilet," was so prominent that Yu Nian's eyes nearly went blind from watching it for days.
Yu Nian rolled her eyes at anyone who brought it up, and sure enough, she gave Mi Ke a big eye roll.
Yu Nian gritted her teeth and glared at the person leading the way, silently thinking: Laughing at her, huh? If she doesn't fleece Mi Ke, this big fat sheep, at the dinner table later, she's not Yu Nian!
The two walked for about ten minutes before arriving at the Chinese restaurant that Miko had mentioned.
As Mi Ke walked to the door, he saw Yu Nian rubbing her hands together, muttering to herself, "What? Does this person need to perform some kind of ritual just to have a meal?" Mi Ke thought for a long time but still couldn't figure out what Yu Nian wanted to do.
The two chose a private room and started ordering. The lambs to the slaughter seemed unaware that their wallets were now being targeted. Mi Ke even foolishly handed the menu to Yu Nian.
Yu Nian had already done her research on the way there; she knew exactly which dishes were expensive and which were cheap at each restaurant.
"Waiter, hello! I'd like a serving of traditional scallion oil yellow croaker, as well as this premium Dongpo pork, West Lake vinegar fish, and Longjing shrimp. Please bring me one of each of these best dishes."
Mi Ke was so surprised when he saw Yu Nian order more than a dozen dishes in one go that he didn't know what to say.
This isn't your average Chinese restaurant; there are only 34 of these restaurants nationwide, and only one in each province.
These restaurants specialize in local cuisine, with each restaurant in each province having its own unique style. They use ingredients of higher quality than those in ordinary restaurants, and a single dish can cost around a thousand yuan, with the cheapest costing at least eight hundred yuan.
Before Yu Nian finished ordering, she suddenly smiled at Mi Ke and asked, "Mr. Mi, my employees probably haven't eaten yet either. Could I pack one for each of them to take home?"
Upon hearing this, the waiter next to him grinned from ear to ear: What kind of people are these? What kind of employees are these? They also want to eat an employee meal that costs several hundred thousand for a single dish.
Miko patted his pockets, and to save face, he replied with an "okay".
Yu Nian, that guy, was he looking at me suspiciously at the door, thinking about how to rip me off? But I've never eaten Hangzhou cuisine before, how could she be so perceptive? Every dish is so expensive, and I only come to this restaurant once in a long while.
Fortunately, Yu Nian had good taste and ordered expensive but extremely delicious dishes. Although this meal cost almost the equivalent of a Hermes bag for his sister, Mi Ke still felt it was worth it.
It just benefited Luo Sheng and that fierce, soft-hearted man.
