Chapter 62 A Night of Indulgence

Chapter 62 A Night of Indulgence

Shao Leyan opened his mouth and ate the grapes that Fu Xingyan fed him, spit the seeds into his hand, and then lay lazily on the sofa.

"Your mental attack seems to be really effective. I haven't recovered yet."

Fu Xingyan brushed aside the fine hair that was blocking Shao Leyan's eyebrows and asked softly, "Are you scared?"

Shao Leyan did not answer, but just nodded slightly.

"Then... do you want me to sleep with you?"

Shao Leyan suddenly opened her eyes and glanced at Fu Xingyan, only to see that his expression was sincere, as if he was really worried about her and had no improper thoughts.

But even so, Shao Leyan knew in her heart that there would be no future between her and Fu Xingyan.

Since it is destined to have no results, it is better not to start in the first place.

"Thank you for your kindness, but I'm not that fragile."

Fu Xingyan nodded, without a trace of disappointment at being rejected on his face. Surprisingly, he frankly accepted Shao Leyan's choice.

"Then I'll take you back."

"good."

Maybe it was because he slept too much during the day, Shao Leyan couldn't sleep even while lying on the familiar big bed. He wanted to contact Mu Jiaojiao but was afraid of disturbing her, so he could only stare blankly at the ceiling.

Suddenly, there was a rustling sound at the door.

Shao Leyan cleverly closed his eyes, tilted his head towards the window, and pretended to be asleep.

Creak!

The sound of the door opening was particularly deafening in the silent dark room, followed by a deliberately quiet sound of footsteps.

Shao Leyan didn't dare to breathe, his heart was pounding with fear, but his face still had a calm and peaceful expression of sleeping.

Until the lips with familiar shape and temperature gently fell on her forehead, her heart softened and she opened her eyes. Even though it was pitch dark around her, she could still see Fu Xingchen's eyes full of stars.

Fu Xingchen bent down and hovered over her, only a palm's distance away from her. His eyes, full of stars, were curved like crescent moons because of his smile.

She laughed too, raised her arms and put them around his neck, and asked curiously, "Hearing you describe that dark-type psychic, I thought he was a powerful figure. But you only came back in two days this time. It seems that the dark-type psychic's strength is just so-so."

Fu Xingchen stared at Shao Leyan's opening and closing mouth, and without answering her curiosity, he pressed half of his body down.

He kissed Shao Leyan's lips hard, and an unclear answer came out intermittently from the gap between his lips and teeth.

"I haven't found him yet, but I missed you so much that I asked the space ability user to send me to find you."

Shao Leyan wasn't surprised. "So you're slacking off? Aren't you afraid your subordinates will find out and complain about you behind your back?"

Fu Xingchen chuckled disdainfully, "They won't know, and even if they do, it doesn't matter."

Shao Leyan was choked by his confidence and laughed out loud in anger, "Since you came back to see me, I won't be angry with you."

"It's okay to be angry," Fu Xingchen reached out and stroked Shao Leyan's cheek, his eyes revealing an undisguised desire for possession and control, "I'll make you calm down."

Shao Leyan asked knowingly, "How do I calm down?"

Fu Xingchen's lips curled up slightly, and as his soft lips slowly fell, his actions expressed his entire answer in words.

An hour later.

Shao Leyan, sweating profusely, hung weakly on Fu Xingchen, her waist firmly bound by long arms as tight as iron chains, making it a little difficult for her to breathe.

Fu Xingchen slowed down his breathing and gave her a devout kiss on the earlobe.

"Yanyan, I love you."

Shao Leyan replied decisively, "Me too."

"No, you didn't."

Fu Xingchen suddenly lost his temper, "You just tolerate me, but you don't love me."

"How come?"

Shao Leyan followed the posture and kissed Fu Xingchen on the shoulder.

"You are my only man. If I don't love you, who else can I love?"

The sudden silence was inexplicable. Shao Leyan thought Fu Xingchen had been coaxed into submission, and he relaxed.

But she didn't expect that the war she thought was over would suddenly come again.

Fu Xingchen left reluctantly until the sky began to turn slightly white.

Shao Leyan was soaked all over, looking like a water ghost who had just crawled out of the river.

I had no strength at all and even turning around was a problem.

If Fu Xingyan hadn't forced her to eat a lot of snacks before going to bed, she wouldn't have been able to hold on for so long.

She woke up from her sleepiness only a little later, and she didn't know how long it had been before she fell into a deep sleep again.

When I opened my eyes, all I saw was a blinding white.

Shao Leyan wanted to raise his hands to cover his eyes, but his arms were tied and it was difficult for him to move.

It wasn't until she adjusted to the light that she could see the ceiling of the laboratory.

Wasn't she lying in the room?

When did you come to the lab?

"Are you finally awake?"

Shao Leyan looked over when she heard the voice and saw Fu Xingyan walking towards her with a smile, untying the restraints of the smart bed for her.

Shao Leyan simply moved his stiff wrist, his mind still not quite clear.

She always felt that something was wrong, but she couldn't put her finger on what it was.

Fu Xingyan stretched out his hand and waved it in front of her eyes. "You're so stupid! Why aren't you talking?"

"When did I come here? Why don't I remember?"

Fu Xingyan couldn't help but complain, "We agreed to start soon, but you didn't even wake up."

Shao Leyan scratched his head embarrassedly, "I slept too much during the day yesterday, so I didn't feel sleepy at night."

Fu Xingyan glared at her in reproach and waved his hand magnanimously.

"It's okay. Anyway, I discovered it in time and it didn't delay my experiment."

Shao Leyan breathed a sigh of relief.

Fu Xingyan looked at Shao Leyan's actions and couldn't help but reach out and rub her head.

"Let's go, let's go eat."

Shao Leyan didn't know why she had such a good appetite today. She ate whatever Fu Xingyan fed her and accepted everything.

The meal took a full hour.

After swallowing the last mouthful of canned Tremella fuciformis, Shao Leyan leaned back comfortably in his chair, touched his slightly bulging belly, and grinned happily.

Seeing her happy, Fu Xingyan couldn't help but smile, "Are you full?"

Shao Leyan shook his finger and said, "I'm too full."

Fu Xingyan nodded. "Yeah, I've been hungry all day. Luckily I asked them to take some more."

Shao Leyan always felt that she had forgotten something. Suddenly, an idea flashed in her mind and she slapped her thigh.

"Oh right, I haven't contacted Jiaojiao today. Damn it! Damn it!"

After Shao Leyan finished speaking, she wanted to run back to the room to get the communicator, but Fu Xingyan quickly stopped her.

"I've already told Mu Jinsheng in advance that I've rescheduled your appointment for eight o'clock."

"Really?" Shao Leyan breathed a sigh of relief. "Thank you, but I've already broken my promise twice. This time I must apologize to Jiaojiao."

"Okay," Fu Xingyan thought for a while before saying, "When Lin Ying goes to Central City tomorrow, I'll ask her to give Mu Jiaojiao a gift for you."

“That’s great!”

Shao Leyan clapped his hands happily, "Just send her seafood. I drank fruit tea and ate cakes at her place, so I should give her something delicious."
