I guess Le An couldn't figure out even if he racked his brains, the reason why Fu Xingyan's favorability was so high was because of his despicable behavior of taking advantage of others' misfortune.
If he could have foreseen this earlier, when Lu Chuchen offered him the olive branch of the Central City and the underground city represented by Fu Xingyan, he would definitely not have chosen Fu Xingyan.

"Xingyan, when did you come here?"

"Brother, you're back."
Fu Xingchen nodded, looking into the eyes that looked exactly like the ones he saw in the mirror, and waited stubbornly for his reply.
"Oh, I came to look for you, but my sister-in-law was the only one there, so I took care of her while waiting for you. What were you doing?"
"I'm going to find Mu Jiaojiao."
Hearing Mu Jiaojiao's name, Shao Leyan finally came out of his deep shock and asked curiously, "What did Jiaojiao say?"
Fu Xingchen's expression softened instantly. He sat down on the edge of the bed and ruffled Shao Leyan's hair, which Fu Xingyan had just tidied.
"She wants to see you," Fu Xingchen frowned slightly, "but she only wants to see you."
Shao Leyan was not surprised and gently held Fu Xingchen's hand to comfort him.
"Don't worry about me, Jiaojiao is safe."
"Safe?" Fu Xingchen raised his eyebrows in surprise. "Have you forgotten? If Mu Jinsheng hadn't happened to see you fainted last time, I might never have seen you again."
"That last time was an accident."
"I really can't accompany you?"
Shao Leyan shook his head and said, "You can go and do your work with Xingyan first. I'll come find you when I'm tired."
Fu Xingyan suggested: "Then let Fu Yue accompany you!"
"They don't know each other, Jiaojiao will feel inconvenient!"
The three of them were still arguing until they reached Mu Jiaojiao's door.
"Yanyan, I..."
"Alright!" Shao Leyan covered Fu Xingchen's mouth and complained irritably, "Didn't we agree that I would come find you after visiting the garden? If you keep being like this, when will I be able to go in?"
"Don't be angry," Fu Xingchen said, following Shao Leyan's chest, which was rising and falling with anger. "I won't go. You guys have fun, but be careful."
"Don't worry, Xingyan, give me a communicator beforehand, and I'll call you if anything happens."
Shao Leyan stood on tiptoe and gave Fu Xingchen a quick, light kiss on the lips.
"Then I'll go in."
Even though Fu Xingchen was still reluctant to leave, Shao Leyan had already skipped to the door and grasped the door handle with his right hand.
"Don't be anxious, Yanyan, walk slowly."
Shao Leyan turned around and smiled, then pressed the handle and opened the door.
Until the door closed again, Fu Xingchen still stared straight at the brown-red carved door, pursed his lips, and remained silent.
Fu Xingyan stared coldly at Fu Xingchen's worried profile, and raised the corners of his lips sarcastically.
"Brother, let's go too!"
"Xingyan," Fu Xingchen carefully considered his words, "Do you think I'm too strict and putting pressure on your sister-in-law?"
"How could that be?" Fu Xingyan patted Fu Xingchen's shoulder gently. "Brother, why do you think so? You're obviously thinking about her. The world is so cruel now, and the danger of death is everywhere. If you don't love her or let her do whatever she wants, not only your sister-in-law, but even the dungeon may be in danger."
Fu Xingchen pondered for a moment, and his frown relaxed slightly.
"You have a point, but I just hope she doesn't blame me."

"What happened to him?"
