Chapter 92 Wen Youheng

Chapter 92 Wen Youheng

"That's him," Le An winked at Shao Le Yan mysteriously, "Guess who he is?"

Shao Leyan was a little surprised, "Do you know him?"

Le An's eyes lit up and he excitedly grabbed her arm. If he had a tail behind him, it would definitely turn into a propeller and take off vertically.

"He is Wen Youheng, Wen Youheng!"

Wen Youheng?

Shao Leyan was surprised.

Who would have thought that she would meet the last male protagonist in the desolate, dilapidated and dangerous Red Flame District.

"How do you know he is..."

"He has his name engraved on the hilt."

Shao Leyan cautiously glanced at Wen Youheng, who was staring at them with a cold face, and swallowed silently.

"So what should we do now? Should we go with him?"

"Of course he invited me. And he saved us, so we have to return the favor."

After the two of them finished discussing, they walked up to Wen Youheng somewhat stiffly.

Le'an smiled flatteringly, just like a father-in-law looking at his son-in-law, and found everything about him pleasing to the eye.

"Brother, we've made a deal. If it's not too much trouble, could you please take us in for a few days? Don't worry, we're all capable and can work like slaves for you. We'll definitely not put you in any difficult position."

Le An patted his chest and promised, but Wen Youheng didn't notice his sincere and persistent look. His eyes kept glancing at Shao Leyan who was standing behind Le An without saying a word.

Le An naturally noticed it as well, and he took Shao Leyan's hand and pulled her forward, suddenly pulling her in front of Wen Youheng.

Staring straight at the two of them looking at each other, those big, round eyes seemed to be saying.

"Don't you want to see it? Then go ahead and see it to your heart's content."

Wen Youheng's eyes were slightly narrowed, and his aura was cold and calm. It was obvious that he was not someone who was easy to talk to.

Shao Leyan felt his whole body go numb when he was stared at. In the end, he simply avoided his gaze and looked down at the ground.

"How did you heal your shoulder injury?"

Shao Leyan touched the bloody torn cloth on his shoulder, and suddenly looked up and met Wen Youheng's inquiring gaze. His eyes were so oppressive that it made it impossible for him to tell a lie.

"This is my special ability."

Wen Youheng's eyes suddenly widened, and his pupils burst into brilliant light under the night sky.

"Healing ability?"

Shao Leyan shook his head, hesitated for two seconds, and then laid out all his family assets in front of the other party.

"It's not a cure, it's a resurrection."

For some reason, after hearing this, a hint of loss flashed across Wen Youheng's eyes. Although it was only for a second, it was accurately captured by Shao Leyan who was only one step away from him.

She was confused by Wen Youheng's sudden change of mood, but she didn't dare to ask more questions.

Wen Youheng smiled bitterly, "Forget it, what am I expecting?"

He retracted his smile and put on the cold and indifferent mask of a dead man again.

His indifferent gaze lightly fell on Le An and Shao Leyan and then quickly retracted, as if the two of them were just insignificant little pets wandering the streets in the doomsday, and it would not make any difference to him whether they were left here or taken home.

He spread his hands and nodded to the two of them.

"Hold on to me."

Shao Leyan and Le An looked at each other, then placed their palms on Wen Youheng's hands and held them tightly.

Wen Youheng's palms were large and rough, just like his personality, as cold as ice.

However, Shao Leyan had just come out of the ice coffin and quickly adapted to Wen Youheng's body temperature.

On the other hand, Le An, who had just had a thrilling fight, felt hot all over, and couldn't help but grimace when he first touched such cold skin.

Shao Leyan found it funny and laughed out loud. The next second, the surrounding street scenery faded away instantly.

She panicked, and before she could exclaim, the scene before her eyes changed again.

They seemed to have moved to a small living room of a house, because Shao Leyan's legs went weak and she fell onto a sofa with half of the cotton popped out. The iron frame inside the leather sofa cover hurt her tailbone.

Wen Youheng let go of Shao Leyan's hand and said coldly, "There's only one room here. You guys can just stay in the living room. I'll get you some blankets."

Le An took out his special device and turned on the flashlight, then looked around for the light switch in the light.

Shao Leyan could now see the whole picture of the house.

There are only two pieces of furniture in the living room: a sofa and a round coffee table. There is a one-meter-high refrigerator next to the kitchen.

The kitchen is open, but at first glance there are only a few pots and pans to be seen, as if the owner of this house has never cooked.

Everything can only be described as simple.

Le An pressed the switch a few times, and the small light bulb in the center of the living room ceiling flashed a few times and then went out completely.

He couldn't help but sigh, "Alas, there is no electricity here."

Wen Youheng, who came over with bedding in his arms, echoed, "Yes, the refrigerator can't be used either."

Shao Leyan and the other person turned to look at Wen Youheng. With the help of the flashlight, she could see Wen Youheng's appearance clearly.

His skin was glowing white and as delicate as hers.

His eyes are narrow but not small, his expression is lazy and distant, and his facial features are unusually soft. At first glance, it is difficult to associate his gentle appearance with his cold temperament.

He raised his chin slightly, like a proud ragdoll cat, but he still wasn't the type to act coquettishly or cute.

Afraid that Wen Youheng might misunderstand, Le An hurriedly explained, "I'm just stating the truth. I really don't mean anything else! It's normal for it to be out of power. After all, in the Chiyan District, I'm lucky to have a place to stay. Why would I need a bicycle? Le Yan, don't you agree?"

Shao Leyan said "hmm" without any sincerity and took the thin blanket handed to him by Wen Youheng.

When she shook it open, something fell out and she caught it with her quick eyes and hands.

It was a loose white cotton dress.

"This is?"

Wen Youheng's expression remained unchanged and his tone was calm, as if it was just a piece of cake.

"This is what my mother used to wear. Now she doesn't need it, so I'll give it to you."

"Really? Thank you so much. Please convey my gratitude to her."

After Shao Leyan finished speaking, he caught a glimpse of Le An's frightened expression and was immediately confused.

She looked at Wen Youheng again, and he remained calm, which made her look a little dumbfounded.

"If you need anything else, just tell me. I'll give it to you if I have it."

Le An covered Shao Leyan's slightly open mouth and said cheerfully: "Okay, okay, it's getting late, you should go to bed!"

Wen Youheng nodded and turned back to the house.

As soon as the door was closed, Le An patted Shao Leyan's shoulder lightly and said angrily, "My dear aunt, I will die from your mouth sooner or later."

"I……"

Shao Leyan was confused and wanted to quibble but he didn't have the confidence to say, "I was quite polite, didn't I say something wrong?"

Le An rolled his eyes. "Wen Youheng's parents died at the beginning of the apocalypse, and he and his grandmother depended on each other for survival. If I'm not mistaken, this living room was his room before we came."
