Thinking back, Li Yiyi remembered Li Daya and accepted the arrangement. An engagement wasn't marriage, so she could barely understand it.
There's only one puzzling thing left: Zhou Wenzhu didn't have any of these things, so who is Li Fuyi engaged to? Could it be Zhou Wenzhu's soul?
"Third Uncle, who is Li Fuyi engaged to?"
"Ask whatever you have questions," Li Yi asked as soon as he opened his mouth.
“You silly child, Fuyi is your cousin, you should call her cousin. Fuyi and Guowei are engaged.”
The tone was intimate, carrying a hint of lecturing and a touch of boasting.
"With Yang Guowei?"
Li Yiyi was stunned, and Li Laoda was also in a daze. How could they be engaged on the same household registration book? The next second, Li Yiyi pulled out all the stops again.
"Third Uncle, Yang Guowei and Li Fuyi are siblings, how can they be engaged? Children born from close relatives are deformed."
Li Yi assured everyone that she was genuinely worried and not deliberately trying to cause trouble.
Li Laoda: It's great to have a daughter; you don't have to ask for help when there's a problem.
"Shut up, Li Yiyi, you're getting more and more disrespectful. Your cousin Fu Yi and Yang Guowei aren't related by blood, so they're not close relatives."
The main character, Li Laoda, didn't say a word, but Li Yiyi, the little kid, kept asking him all sorts of questions, things he didn't want to hear. It was hard for Li Laosan to stay happy.
To avoid Li Laoda becoming jealous and spreading rumors, Li Laosan patiently explained.
"Guowei's household registration is under his father's name, and he and Fuyi are not siblings."
"That's an uncle marrying his niece, that's incest!"
She exaggeratedly covered her mouth, a sly glint in her bright eyes.
