Jiang Zuoque was momentarily captivated. After regaining his senses, his worried gaze fell directly on Jiang Guimei.
"Meimei, you'll be alright. Let's go see a doctor right away."
Feeling the pinch of the money, Jiang Zuoque didn't want to say anything discouraging. He said he would go see her, but he kept putting it off.
The Jiang sisters, Jiang Guimei and Jiang Guimei, saw this and were both aware of it.
"Zuo Que, I'm fine. I know my own body. However, before I die, I have one wish."
She lightly bit her lip, a blush appearing on Jiang Guimei's pale cheeks. At the perfect moment, she lowered her head.
"Meimei, you say it."
With some guesses in mind, Jiang Zuoque looked at Jiang Guimei, then at Jiang Guimei, and a brilliant idea popped into his head.
He finally found a way to break the deadlock and could now reap the benefits of others' misfortunes.
"Meimei, tell me, I will definitely satisfy you, and your sister will satisfy you too."
Jiang Guimei said something meaningful, glanced back at Jiang Zuoque, and nodded heavily.
"Meimei, Zuo Que is right. I will give you whatever you want."
Satisfied with Jiang Guimei's posture, Jiang Zuoque turned his gaze back to her.
"Zuo Que, I know, you all treat me very well."
Jiang Guimei smiled slightly, raising her eyes, and looked at Jiang Zuoque.
"Zuo Que, my only wish is to become revolutionary comrades with you. I know my days are numbered, but..."
Jiang Guimei hesitated to finish her sentence, looking at Jiang Zuoque.
