"Who are you looking for?"
Who are you looking for? This is a very positive start, and Li Yiyi and Boss Li are quite pleased.
It seems that Zhao Zhiqing has learned and matured. He no longer opens the door to anyone who is alone and brings them home. It's a good thing that he has become more cautious.
"Teacher Zhao, I am Li Yiyi."
The childish voice sounded somewhat familiar, and the name reminded Zhao Zhiqing who it was.
She was the sickly child from the production team, but I heard she's recovered. He even saw her at the banquet. Her mother, Jiang Yuting, is from the Jiang family.
But he didn't have much contact with the Jiang family, nor was he familiar with Li Yiyi and the others. What did Li Yiyi want from him?
That's what I was thinking, but my hands honestly opened the door.
As long as it wasn't Zhou Gangshu and his group, it was fine with him. If it were, he wasn't even sure if he could be so heartless as to kick them out again.
Upon opening the door, it was indeed Li Yiyi and Boss Li. Zhao Zhiqing breathed a sigh of relief; Boss Li and Li Yiyi had noticed this.
"Teacher Zhao, may we come in and sit for a while?"
Completely oblivious to the fact that she had come uninvited, Li Yiyi, thinking about what she and Boss Li were supposed to do, felt a sense of responsibility creep onto her fair face.
Rescuing good teachers is everyone's responsibility.
"Please come in."
Leaving guests outside the door is impolite to someone like Zhao Zhiqing who strictly adheres to etiquette.
He led her into the living room, where Zhou Gangshu's written materials were still on the table. Just as he was about to put them away, Li Yiyi stopped him with her little hand, and he looked up to meet a pair of innocent eyes.
"Teacher Zhao, are these review materials?"
The innocent eyes of the children cheered Zhao Zhiqing up considerably; he loved the pure, inquisitive look in their eyes.
"Yes, would you like to see it?"
Perhaps it was a professional habit, but Zhao Zhiqing began to take a test of Li Yiyi.
No, I don't want to.
Li Yiyi was inwardly opposed, but she was also afraid of hurting Zhao Zhiqing's pride.
“Teacher Zhao, my mother wants to watch it. You don’t know, my mother is preparing for exams and says she wants to set a good example for me.”
Li Yiyi swore, sincerely swore, that she wasn't lying; that's exactly what her mother said.
"Really?"
Zhao Zhiqing's eyes lit up. As a teacher, what she loved most was seeing others learn, especially a parent like Jiang Yuting who set a good example. She was practically a lucky charm for teachers like them.
With parents like that, how bad could a student possibly be?
Unable to hold on any longer, Li Yiyi called for help from Li Laoda. In a corner where Zhao Zhiqing couldn't see, she poked Li Laoda hard with her hand, afraid that Li Laoda wouldn't feel it.
Li Yiyi gave him a disapproving look, and Li Laoda decided not to make a move. No matter what age people are, they are all afraid of teachers, and he was afraid of them too.
Daughter, good luck to you!
The saying goes, "Better to die for the poor than for your fellow Daoists." The daughter should handle her own affairs; Old Li didn't think he had done anything wrong.
Li Yiyi was putting all her strength into it, and her little face turned quite red, but Li Laoda still maintained an indifferent expression.
Li Yiyi understood; her beloved father had abandoned her.
"Is it true? Teacher Zhao, are these materials still useful to you? If not, can I take them back to my mother?"
Gritting her teeth, Li Yi went for it. On her back, Boss Li made a faint "You're awesome" gesture.
Look, this is her own father. Li Yiyi wanted to cry but had no tears.
Li Yi felt that Zhao Zhiqing's eyes seemed brighter when she looked at him, whether it was her imagination or not.
"It's no use. Of course, it's fine. Little Li Yiyi, you should learn from your mother."
Just when Zhao Zhiqing was wondering what to do with the materials, Li Yiyi solved the problem for him. How could Zhao Zhiqing not be happy? Not to mention, he saw a new approach to education.
Cultivating good habits in a child starts with the parents. If parents set a good example, how could the child be anything but? Absolutely not!
"Thank you, Teacher Zhao."
She breathed a sigh of relief. There's an old saying that seeing an object reminds you of a person; she was genuinely afraid that if she looked at it, Zhao Zhiqing would reconnect with Zhou Gangshu and Li Fuyi.
It's no wonder she was wary; the world is unpredictable, and it seems like something is forcing them to follow the plot and achieve a happy ending.
"By the way, Xiao Yi, what brings you here?"
"Little Yi Yi," Li Yi Yi was so immersed in this nickname that she couldn't tear herself away. What a strange nickname! Couldn't she have a normal nickname?
Li Yiyi, what a beautiful name!
"Teacher Zhao, we've come to see you about something."
The little hand nudged Boss Li again. Now it was Boss Li's turn to step in; she'd handled all the toughest parts.
Li Laoda: Received, my daughter sent me.
"Teacher Zhao, it's like this, my daughter and I found two notebooks on the seat you were sitting in. We thought they were yours, so we brought them back to you."
The warmth of the book told Zhao Zhiqing that it had just been taken from Li Laoda's arms. He admired someone who treated a book with such care.
Upon opening it, I found patches of black dots, but thankfully, I could still vaguely make out the writing.
Speaking of this, Li Laoda is very proud. He was able to produce two books in a short period of time. He didn't care about neatness; as long as they were legible, that was enough. Another point is that his elegant handwriting makes it impossible for anyone to tell that it wasn't written by him.
Is this book really his?
"It can't be," Zhao Zhiqing hesitated, wanting to clarify, but the first words he heard startled him.
Reborn, I will use my mentor from my past life as a stepping stone.
Zhao Zhiqing said no one knew the term "stepping stone" better than him; it was practically describing him.
