Ma Mei thought she was secretly probing Li Su's thoughts about Long Tian, but little did she know that Li Su had already seen through her intentions.
"How else could we have met? Thanks to Li Yi, I got to know Long Tian after being punished to stand in the corner a few times. But Long Tian and I are good buddies. He has someone he likes, but every time I ask him, he won't say anything, saying he's afraid of interfering with the studies of the person he likes."

Li Su's words were pointed, and Ma Mei, not disappointing her, was so shy she didn't know what to do.
Li Su knew that Long Tian liked her, but she also knew that people who were liked by Long Tian were very happy. Just thinking about it made Ma Mei feel incredibly happy.

Li Su was happier than anyone else at this point. She could deal with Li Yiyi without lifting a finger; it truly was a brilliant idea from Long Tian.
Li Su admired this ally, but also felt a deep sense of apprehension.
Back in the classroom, both Li Su and Ma Mei immediately looked at Long Tian, who was sitting at the back. Long Tian smiled slowly, and Ma Mei froze in place.
"Meizi, let's go, our classmates are still watching!"
When Li Suyi pointed it out, Ma Mei realized that many people were looking at her. Even the most proud and arrogant person felt a little embarrassed and annoyed at this moment.
After taking her seat, Ma Mei couldn't help but look back at Long Tian again. This time, Ma Mei didn't look away; she etched Long Tian's image into her mind with that single glance.
Li Yiyi came to class. She missed the first two periods, but showed up for the third.
As Ma Mei watched Li Yiyi's figure, malice flashed in her eyes. She felt a great deal of dissatisfaction with Li Yiyi, and her hatred had grown even stronger than before.
Lowering her head, Ma Mei dared not let others see the ruthlessness in her eyes, but her clenched fists were enough to show that Ma Mei was not as calm as she appeared.
After school, Ma Mei declined Li Su's invitation to go with her. After exchanging a subtle, suggestive glance with Long Tian, she headed home.
She hadn't walked far when Ma Mei went into a corner and quietly waited for everyone to leave.
After the few people had all left, Ma Mei emerged from the corner, returned to the school, and placed a prepared statement into the complaint box.
While posting a notice in the classroom next door, Ma Mei still maintained her rationality and didn't lose her temper by posting it in her own classroom.
Posting it in her own classroom indirectly tells others that it was posted by someone in her class, and that she is also a member of the class. If people become suspicious, she herself will also be a suspect.
Coincidentally, Ding Sitian and Li Yiyi from the next class have a bit of a grudge, so posting it in their class would carry some weight.
After pasting it on, Ma Mei carefully wiped away all her marks and only left the school after confirming that everything was correct.

His arrogant and unassuming manner made Li Su even more wary. Remembering the play Long Tian had mentioned, Li Su composed herself and followed behind Long Tian.
With an indelible darkness and gloom in her eyes, Li Su wondered if her honesty with Long Tian was the right thing to do. A trace of regret seeped into her heart, and Li Su's mind was far from at peace.
Ma Mei was preoccupied with her own thoughts. She walked into the alley she usually passed by, not noticing anyone ahead of her.
"You brat, you're so blind, can't you see your grandpa standing right in front of you?"
Before Ma Mei could even see what was happening, she was hit with a barrage of insults.
"Oh, it's just a kid. You must be from the school next door. My kid goes there too, maybe even in the same class as you!"
At the prospect of a school, hope rose in Ma Mei's heart.
She had just glanced up at the burly man in front of her, his massive frame and black beard, his chest bare and menacing, made Ma Mei's face turn pale with fright.
I was walking along the same road normally, but today there were strangers in the road.
"Yes, I'm from the school next door."
With a timid voice, Ma Mei backed away, looking for a chance to slip away.
"Hmph, since you're from that school, then take out some money to spend. My kid, with his mother, has more money than I do. You're from the school next door, so you must have a lot of money too."
Money, the person in front of me wants money.
Ma Mei gripped Li Yiyi's hand tighter. There was another reason she disliked Li Yiyi: Li Yiyi was rich, while she wasn't.
Although her family wasn't as poor as Li Su's, they weren't much better off. The good thing was that her parents knew that studying was very important and valued her grades.
