"Li Hun, do you want to play with me?"
It was playing, really playing; Li Yiyi swore she wasn't lying.
"Really?"
The surprise came too quickly; Li Hun hadn't expected his inner voice to have such a powerful effect.
"He's putting on quite a convincing act," Li Yi thought to himself.
"Of course it's true, Lee Hun. I've realized I misunderstood you before. You're not what I thought. If you don't mind, we can be good friends from now on!"
"No, I don't mind at all, I don't mind at all."
Li Hun's face visibly flushed, and he became flustered, seemingly overjoyed.
[Yi-Yi, is it really true that Yi-Yi and I are going to be good friends? Is it really true? Am I dreaming? I'm so happy!]
Overjoyed, Li Hun stole a glance at Li Yiyi, only to meet her gaze. This time, even her neck turned red.
[Yi Yi looked at me, so it seems it's true. Yi Yi really wants to be my good friend.]
[Since Yi Yi started believing me, does that mean Yi Yi and I can finally escape the plot?]
The word "plot" sent a jolt through Li Yiyi. She hadn't expected that Li Hun could conjure up a script out of thin air.
A master, truly a master.
If Li Hun had used this tactic from the beginning, without involving Li Su and Long Tian to disrupt things, she might have believed it all.
So this is what it feels like to hear other people's true feelings. But it doesn't sound very pleasant; it's not from the heart, and there's nothing particularly moving about it.
Li Laoda and Jiang Yuting continued walking behind, giving Li Hun a meaningful look, then glancing at Li Yiyi, with a hint of schadenfreude in their hearts.
Li Hun had no idea what Li Yiyi was thinking. His plan was to strike while the iron was hot, imprinting the plot into Li Yiyi's mind to solidify her belief in him.
[It's so great to see YiYi again. I really, really like her.]
[But if Yi Yi knew I transmigrated from a book, would she dislike me? No, no, as long as I don't do anything outrageous, I'm still the original owner of this body, and Yi Yi won't know.]
Talking to himself, Li Hun seemed to have convinced himself. He then glanced at Li Yiyi again, and seeing the shock in Li Yiyi's eyes...
Moving on to the next part of the story, a well-controlled expression of one's inner thoughts is a sure-fire weapon for victory.
[Yi Yi is so wonderful, so why is she the female lead in a tragic romance novel?]
Li Yiyi clenched her fists tightly. Damn Li Hun, she's actually the female lead in a tragic novel!
She utterly humiliated his descendants.
In Li Hun's eyes, it looked like Li Yiyi was angry, and he couldn't help but smile smugly. Li Hun knew that Li Yiyi had taken the bait.
[Yi Yi is definitely developing feelings for Long Tian now, but little does she know that Long Tian doesn't like her at all; he's only after her family's wealth.]
After marrying such a wonderful girl, Long Tian didn't cherish her. He constantly beat and scolded her. He also caused the deaths of Yi Yi's parents. With her parents gone, Yi Yi was heartbroken and finally decided to leave Long Tian.
[But Long Tian was truly a scoundrel. When Yi Yi liked him, he discarded her like trash, but when he didn't like her anymore, he forced himself on her, ultimately leading to her death from depression.]
After Yi Yi passed away, Long Tian began to feign deep affection, claiming he couldn't forget her, yet he used her family's money to find one substitute after another, and even in death, he would utter the words, "Yi Yi, I've come to find you."
[This is shameless! How can I make Yi Yi dislike Long Tian?]
That's shameless, absolutely shameless.
The veins on Li Yiyi's hands were bulging. That bastard Li Hun not only made her the heroine of a tragic novel, but he also killed off her entire family.
That bastard, when he gets angry, he wants to take it out on someone.
"Damn bastard."
Li Yi accidentally kicked the chair that Li Hun was making; there was a landslide in front of her.
Li Hun's chair had wheels, and with the broken leg right in front of him, he couldn't even stand up to avoid slipping.
"Li Hun~"
The wind whistled past his ears, and Li Yiyi's voice reached Li Hun's ears precisely. He stopped in his tracks, his movement of standing up and jumping halted.
No, he can't reveal himself now.
With his eyes closed, Li Hun decided to leave everything to fate. Heaven had been kind to him, and this time would be no exception.
The last one, Boss Li, sneered and flicked his finger. Suddenly, Li Hun in front of him veered off course and crashed into a large tree on the side.
As it happened, Li Hun's legs were spread apart, his eyes were closed, and he had no idea what situation he was about to face. He was still praying for God's favor.
Li Yiyi chased after him for a few steps before stopping, covering her eyes with her hands, and peeking pityingly at Li Hun through her fingers.
Fate played a cruel trick; Li Hun was beyond saving.
Why can't we just go down the road smoothly? Why do we have to turn? This must be God's way of punishing Li Hun for what he said.
Yes, that must be it.
Ah~
Hearing those cries hurt her, seeing them hurt her even more; the physical pain was bad enough, but the emotional wounds were the worst.
Li Yiyi was satisfied, and so was Li Laoda. Why did Li Hun have to fabricate such a bad ending for their family?
Li Hun covered her embarrassing area with both hands, wanting to continue screaming but afraid of attracting more onlookers.
"Li Hun, are you alright?!"
He heard Li Yiyi's voice behind him, and in a few steps, Li Yiyi walked up to him.
"Li Hun, are you alright?!"
Li Yi asked again, and when she didn't hear an answer from Li Hun, she continued to ask.
Are you alright? Of course you're alright!
In front of Li Yiyi, even if Li Hun still wanted to cover it up, for the sake of his image in Li Yiyi's eyes, he could only pretend that nothing had happened and act nonchalantly.
