Li Hun looked somewhat uncomfortable, but the knocking continued.
"Li Hun, are you awake?"
It was Li Yiyi's voice. The beating and the dream from last night were still fresh in Li Hun's mind. He didn't really want to see Li Yiyi.
But he was at Li Yi's house, and there was nothing Li Hun could do but get up and open the door.
"Yi-yi, I'm awake."
He didn't want to see Li Yiyi's face at all. Seeing Li Yiyi would involuntarily remind Li Hun of what happened last night.
Li Hun could only keep his head down to avoid seeing Li Yiyi. Li Yiyi, standing at the door, naturally understood Li Hun's thoughts.
She covered her mouth with her small hand, staring at Li Hun in surprise.
"Li Hun, did you go thievery last night? You're covered in injuries."
Covered in wounds, Li Yiyi's words awakened Li Hun's sense of pain.
With a hiss, Li Hun looked down and realized that the places where Li Yiyi had injured him the night before were all bruised and swollen.
The culprit kept asking questions, and Li Hun felt a surge of anger he didn't know how to vent.
On second thought, Li Hun's mind raced again. Since the injury was already done, and he couldn't return it openly, he had to maximize his own gain.
"Li Hun, what happened to your injury? You didn't really steal anything last night, did you?! I never would have guessed you were this kind of person, actually staying in my house..."
"Yi-yi, that's not true, I didn't do anything."
Li Hun looked at Li Yiyi with a mixture of grievance and stubbornness, her eyes telling a story of her sadness.
He was really upset about being wronged by Li Yiyi.
The reality is, both of Li Yiyi's eyes were slapped last night, and today I've become a famous animal, though of course, not cute at all.
To Li Yi, the feigned grievance was sleazy and an eyesore.
