"If you want to know why, let's go inside and talk."
Li Yiyi had already disappeared from sight, and chasing after her was futile. Long Tian angrily shook off Li Hun's hand.
"Walk."
He wanted to see what Li Hun could come up with.
After the two went inside, Li Yiyi, who had disappeared, reappeared at the door, her ear pressed against it.
The faint footsteps were only heard by Li Hun. Looking at the completely oblivious Long Tian, Li Hun slowly smiled.
"Long Tian, do you remember the hero-saves-the-damsel-in-distress scheme you devised last time? In the alley not far away, you had someone ambush Yi Yi, planning to stage a rescue scene. Who knew that He Heng would jump out halfway and ruin your plan."
Li Hun knew Li Yiyi was eavesdropping, and he would let her hear what she wanted to hear, so that she would completely give up on Long Tian.

Staring blankly at Li Hun, Long Tian seemed to see through Li Hun's exterior to his inner self.
"Why are you looking at me so angrily?"
Long Tian remained silent, which Li Hun misunderstood. A faint smile played on his lips as Li Hun gradually approached the door.
With a loud bang, the door slammed shut. The lights were on inside, and Long Tian felt a chill; unease enveloped him. Realizing he'd been careless, he tried to leave but Li Hun stopped him.
"Long Tian, things haven't been explained yet, why are you leaving!"
Standing up from the chair, Li Hun was half a head taller than Long Tian; in terms of presence, Li Hun had the upper hand.
Li Hun's leg is fine. A wave of emotion washed over Long Tian. He had been skeptical of Li Su's words, but now they had all been confirmed.
"Long Tian, I'm telling the truth. Let's sit down and talk. Don't you want to know why Li Yiyi is disappointed in you and heartbroken?"
In the cramped room, Li Hun's voice was omnipresent, creating an oppressive atmosphere.
But so what? In a mere instant, Long Tian understood.
Even if Li Hun is the mastermind, as long as the system doesn't kill him, Li Hun can't do anything to him.
As his unease subsided, Long Tian calmed down and sat comfortably on the edge of the bed, his gaze sweeping over Li Hun with a scrutinizing look.
