After saying that, without giving Li's mother any time to react, Li Su turned and left.
The last shred of affection she had for Li's mother vanished as her mother remained silent; perhaps it was foolish of her.

It's all fake, all fake, just her fantasy. If she could do it all over again, she would atone for what she had done.
Yesterday's dusk was the same, today the old trees and withered vines remain.
Slowly walking back to the eaves, Li's mother sat quietly, gazing into the distance.
She was waiting for the right time, and for some people who would never return.
She saw them off one by one; now, it's time to guard the road back.
