Chapter 367 Is this Li Hun sacrificing his own family for the greater good?

Forget it, I'm not playing anymore.

As the last thick bar fell, Li Su realized she could see again. Her eyes met the ceiling, and tilting slightly downwards, she saw Li Yiyi's joyful eyes.

"Li Su, you're finally awake! Don't move, you still have needles in your body!"

Looking over, all that met her eyes were needles that glittered in the light, their silvery sheen sending chills down Li Su's spine.

"Li Su, don't speak yet, it won't be good if the needle goes in."

Li Su froze instantly, while Li Yi chuckled.

"Li Su, don't move, I'm going to remove all the needles."

Pull it out, pull it out quickly!

The more anxious Li Su was, the more leisurely Li Yiyi became.

"Don't move! If this needle goes in, you won't be able to speak anymore. If this needle goes in, you'll be disfigured. If this needle goes in, you'll go blind..."

Before removing a single needle, Li Yiyi would explain its function. Actually, Li Yiyi was just trying to scare them, but Li Su believed it anyway.

As each hair fell away, Li Su wished she could remain immobile.

At least, if you can't move, you don't have to worry about moving around randomly; but if you can move, you still have to worry about whether you can stay still.

The marks on my face were gone, then they appeared on my body, and then on my legs.

After the needles were removed, Li Su was soaked from head to toe; it wouldn't be an exaggeration to say she had crawled out of the water.

"Li Su, aren't you thirsty? There's water in the kitchen."

With her head down, tidying up her precious belongings, Li Yiyi said meaningfully,

She knew about the medicine when she was getting acupuncture; seeing the medicine reminded her of Chen Fang's late-night conversation with Li Su.

Li Su came with a purpose: to drug Chen Fang. It's just unknown whether she has already decided on someone to replace Chen Fang.

A dark and unpredictable look flickered in Li Yiyi's eyes. She felt that she had become more merciful. Sure enough, living in a peaceful era for too long, one would even temporarily forget one's true nature.

"Thanks."

Water, thirst

Li Su didn't realize she was thirsty until Li Yiyi mentioned it.

Just then, Boss Li came out of the kitchen, which meant there was no one in the kitchen.

There was no one, and water was linked together. Li Su knew what she had to do, and her thanks were sincere.

She also had to thank Li Yiyi. If it weren't for Li Yiyi, she would have forgotten why she pretended to faint to get in. She didn't know if it was just her imagination, but Li Su felt that her legs hurt a lot when she walked.

Upon arriving in the kitchen, Li Yiyi felt very resentful.

Li Yi's family's kitchen is bigger than theirs. While she's scheming over the little things in her house, Li Yi has enjoyed so much since birth.

It's so unfair! Why does she have to suffer, while Li Yiyi grew up in a sweet environment?

However, this is all to be expected.

Her first half of life was bitter, but her second half should be sweet. Li Yiyi's first half was sweet, but she should also experience the hardships of life in the second half.

The medicine had spilled into the water. Li Su suppressed her excitement, pretending nothing had happened, and carried the water to the living room.

"Thank you, Uncle and Aunt, and thank you too, Yi Yi."

In front of each person was a glass of water, clean and clear, with no indication of what was inside.

To be honest, Li Yiyi and the others didn't really want to drink it. They weren't worried about the medicine itself, but they didn't want to drink it because it was dirty.

"Uncle and Aunt, I am truly grateful to you. If you hadn't carried me into the house, I don't know how long I would have been lying on the ground."

Li Su's back was still throbbing, but in order to get Li Laoda and the others to drink the water, she had no choice but to lie through her teeth.

The infatuated look returned, and Li Su felt increasingly pleased with Li Laoda.

"Now that you're alright, you should leave!"

The water is undrinkable. Knowing it's dangerous, why would he drink it? He's not stupid; there's no need to risk his life.

"uncle."

Leaving? That won't do! Before he could finish his sentence, there was a knock on the door.

"Father, someone's here."

It was Li Hun. Li Yiyi glanced at Li Su meaningfully, wondering if Li Su knew about Li Hun's arrival.

The door opened, and Li Hun and his mother walked in.

Seeing that Li Su was alright, Li Hun felt a pang of regret, realizing he had miscalculated the time. Li's mother, however, was different.

He acted as if he were in his own home, nodding with satisfaction as he looked around. Although Li Yiyi's daughter-in-law was a bit spoiled, he could teach her slowly in the future. The main thing was that this family was really rich.

"Li Yiyi, come and help my son sit down to eat."

With that thought in mind, Li's mother naturally started ordering Li Yiyi around. She hadn't forgotten how Li Yiyi and Li Hun had hit it off during their last visit to her house.

Li Yiyi: Do you even like me? You do have a pair of cross-eyed eyes.

"Mother, what are you saying? Have you forgotten why we came?"

A flicker of annoyance crossed Li Hun's eyes. He was touched by his mother's sacrifices for him, for not abandoning him during his difficult times, but he was also annoyed by her various inexplicable quirks.

Just like what he said earlier, he was thinking it, but it wasn't the right time yet.

"Son~"

Feeling a little wronged by Li Hun's rebuttal, Li's mother then glared fiercely at Li Yiyi.

Li Yiyi: Problem.

"Hello Li Yiyi, I wonder if you still remember me."

"I remember, you are Li Su's older brother, Li Hun."

How could Li Yiyi forget the way Li Hun looked at her the first time they met, as if she were food on a plate? It was even more blatant than Li Su's gaze.

Even more than Li Su...

Li Yiyi felt she had overlooked something, but before she could think about it carefully, Li Hun spoke up.
