They finally vented their anger, partly because Li Lao Er and Zhao Da Hua had tricked them into going to find Li Lao Da, and partly because Li Jia Fu had deceived Lin Da Mei.
Judging from Li Lao Er and Zhao Da Hua's reactions, they probably didn't know about Li Jia Fu's marriage certificate.
So what? They raised their son. To arrange a marriage without even asking questions first—do they really think the Lin family would just swallow their anger?
In a daze, Lin Damei was forced to marry Li Jiafu, a man who had nothing to offer.

"I'll beat you to death, you fool! How can you be so reckless? Tell your mother who you like. Do you think your mother would force you?"
It's more like venting than actually hitting someone.
The liquid felt like a tickle on Li Jiafu, causing no pain whatsoever. Didn't you see that Li Jiafu's expression didn't even change?
[Pretending to fight? If you're so capable, why don't you actually fight?]
[You beat up Li Jiafu, and we'll keep you on our toes.]
[They say Old Man Li and Old Woman Li are biased, but aren't you, Zhao Dahua, just like them? Extremely biased, it's a family tradition.]
