"What's wrong?" asked Duan's mother.
Old Man Duan ignored her.
He thought it would be Old Lady Duan who would open the door, but it turned out to be Zhao Yuan.
"Why are you in my room?" Old Man Duan asked with a grim expression.
He looked into the room and saw Old Lady Duan, whose expression was obviously different from usual. He then asked Zhao Yuan, "What are you doing in the room with the door closed?"
"I think grandma seems to be sick. I'm afraid she will go out and be lost like last time, so I want to lock her in the house, which will be safer." Zhao Yuan said.
Old Man Duan snorted coldly but said nothing more.
He said to Old Lady Duan, "Mei Qiu, go wash my clothes!"
Zhao Yuan looked at Old Lady Duan and said to Old Man Duan, "Grandpa, I'll go wash. Let Grandma stay in the house."
"Why are you washing them? I'll let her wash them!" Old Man Duan glared at Zhao Yuan and said to Old Lady Duan, "Mei Qiu, did you hear me? I'll let you wash my clothes!"
"Dad, look at Mom's condition. She must be sick. I'll go wash you." Duan's mother also said.
"She gets sick all the time. She eats and drinks the same amount every day, so how could she get this strange disease? I think she did it on purpose for me to see her. She just wants to be lazy and not work!" Old man Duan cursed.
"Dad, go out for a walk and play chess with everyone. I'll ask Zhao Yuan to cook. When the meal is ready, I'll call you back to eat." Duan's mother said kindly.
Old Man Duan put his hands behind his back and snorted, "Okay, then I'll go out for a walk."
Duan's mother: "Hey."
After seeing Old Man Duan leave, Duan's mother and Zhao Yuan both breathed a sigh of relief.
"What were you and grandma doing locked in the room? You could have just locked grandma in the room. Why were you doing there too?" Duan's mother asked Zhao Yuan.
"I chatted with grandma for a while." Zhao Yuan said.
Duan's mother said nothing at this point: "Close the door and don't let grandma out. Go cook, and I'll wash Dad's clothes."
"Okay." Zhao Yuan nodded.
After closing the door of Old Lady Duan's room, she returned to her own room, wrapped the remaining candies and egg cakes in newspaper, hid them in the closet, and then went to cook.
On the other side, Yao Yi didn't come back until almost lunchtime.
She went to see Lei Xiao again in the morning.
Although she and Lei Xiao have divorced, she still cannot accept this fact and hopes that Lei Xiao can change his mind and reconcile with her.

"Don't call me that!" Lei Ying quickly interrupted her: "We're not familiar with each other, stop disgusting me."
Lei Ying continued with disgust on her face, "My brother divorced you a long time ago. Don't recognize random mothers and don't keep coming to my house. Do you know that you are very annoying and disgusting? Weren't you very powerful back then? You yelled at me, told my mother to get out, and even lost my brother's job. How come you are not so powerful now? You always hang around my door like a beggar! Yao Yi's face flushed red after hearing Lei Ying's words. She thought she was sincere, but she was being trampled upon and looked down upon by Lei Xiao and the Lei family.
Yao Yi returned home with an angry face.
When Aunt Xie saw her like this, she guessed that she was probably going to the Lei family to find Lei Xiao again.
Aunt Xie smiled at her gently and said, "You're back. Come and have dinner. I made your favorite braised pork today."

"I haven't been into your room either." Zhong Lan said.
Yao Yi didn't believe it: "It must be you! You and Mom are the only ones at home. If Mom really ate my candy and egg cake, she would definitely tell me. It's only you!"
"I have never been into your house, nor have I eaten your toffee and egg cake. I didn't even know you had these things in your house." Zhong Lan explained again.
"Stop pretending. Who else could it be but you?" Yao Yi shouted.
"Could it be that you made a mistake? No one has actually touched your things?" Yao Hongdao.
"Brother, I've noticed you're really protective of your sister-in-law! How could I possibly mess up my own things?! I only bought a few egg cakes, and I ate a few, so how could I not know? I only bought a few toffees, so how could I not tell if there were any missing?!"
