"Cai Chunxing asked me to bring this to you. She said it was some dried meat slices her father brought back from a business trip." Chen Kang said.
Ye Fuyue understood.
This was not something Cai Chunxing specifically asked Chen Kang to bring to her. It was probably something Cai Chunxing wanted to give to Chen Kang, but Chen Kang didn't want it, so Cai Chunxing had to settle for the next best thing.
Chen Guifeng overheard their conversation and interrupted Chen Kang in confusion, "Who is Cai Chunxing? Is he from your factory? Why did he ask you to bring something to Fu Yue?"
“It’s not from our factory, it’s from Xiangyang Furniture Factory.” Shen Kang said.
"Xiangyang Furniture Factory?" Chen Guifeng was even more puzzled. "How do you know someone from Xiangyang Furniture Factory? Since she works there, she could have just waited for Fuyue to go there and given it to her directly. Why did she have to go through all the trouble of having you bring it to Fuyue?"
