The three children slept soundly, and the entire small western-style building seemed to have fallen into a deep sleep. Even Xiaobai was lying in his doghouse, sleeping soundly.

Zhong Lan sneered: "You should talk to the police about these things!"
She turned to Cui Li and said, "I'm going to call the police now. Can you keep an eye on him by yourself?"
Cui Li clenched the stick in her hand and said firmly, "Yes! And Xiaobai is here too."
When Xiaobai heard his name, he barked twice.
Zhong Lan nodded and quickly ran to call the police.
Er Gouzi tried to escape when he got the chance, but Cui Li blocked his way with a stick.
"Why are you running? If you run again, I'll let Xiaobai bite you."
"I...I..." Er Gouzi was anxious and angry: "I took the wrong road, why don't you let me go home?"

Xiaobai raised his tail and barked a few times majestically at Ergouzi at the right time.
