Ye Fuyue accepted the medical expenses, but she did not accept the eggs.
"Take the eggs back and give them to Aunt Wu. She just had a high fever and needs some nourishment."
"My mother was left some eggs at home. These eggs are specially brought to you. They are a little gift from our whole family. We are all very grateful to you." Wu Zhenzhen said sincerely.
Seeing this, Ye Fuyue stopped being polite and accepted the eggs.
Wu Zhenzhen breathed a sigh of relief, smiled, and went back first.
Although Chen Guifeng did not go out, she heard the conversation at the gate clearly.

Chen Guifeng nodded in agreement. "Yao Yi often bullied Zhong Lan at home before, but Zhong Lan was a soft-hearted person back then, so she let her bully her and never confronted her directly. Now that she's married, she thinks her in-laws will let her bully them too. She's just waiting to fall!"

Yao Yi, the center of public discussion, had been home for over a week, yet Lei Xiao hadn't come to pick her up.
