Soon it was little Ayan’s birthday.
On the afternoon of September 11th, Su Mianmian and Su Qingqing took half a day off to prepare for little Ayan's birthday at home.
Su Mianmian and Su Qingqing woke up from their nap at noon, but did not wake up Xiao Ayan.
The weather was getting hotter and hotter. Su Mianmian and Su Qingqing were preparing ingredients and had to watch out for flies from time to time, otherwise they would fly into the pot or bowl if they were not careful.

The two of them carried the plates out of the kitchen to eat the cake.
Su Mianmian started kneading the dough and then set it aside. She thought about cooking some vegetables to mix with the noodles.
After she fried scrambled eggs with leeks, stewed pork with vermicelli, and a dish of cold shredded potatoes, Shen Yuandao and Qin Huaichuan left work.
Su Mianmian took the chicken that had been stewed long ago, scooped a bowl of chicken soup into the pot and started making longevity noodles.
After the noodles were cooked, Su Mianmian put little Ayan's longevity noodles in his small bowl, and the others had the cooked noodles mixed with freshly fried vegetables, which smelled intoxicating.
Su Mianmian divided out all the dishes into separate portions and asked Shen Yuandao to send them to the cowshed in advance.
After he came back, Su Mianmian asked a few people to take out the remaining dishes.
Little Ayan looked at the table full of delicious food and kept swallowing his saliva.
He actually wanted to eat more cake, as he hadn't eaten enough just now.
Su Mianmian saw his intention and placed the longevity noodles in front of him.
"Today is our little Ah Yan's birthday. Let's eat noodles first, then cake."
Little Ayan nodded obediently. He was only three years old and didn’t remember much. He didn’t know what a birthday was, but he was happy as long as there was something delicious.
After little Ayan took a mouthful of noodles, Su Mianmian winked at everyone, and everyone understood.
Su Mianmian took out a red envelope and said, "Happy birthday to my little Ayan! I hope you will be happy every day!"
Su Qingqing handed him a picture book and said, "Happy birthday, little Ayan! Your cousin is here to protect you!"
Shen Yuandao handed him a pair of small leather shoes, “Happy birthday, Ah Yan! Be happy every day and have no worries.”
Qin Huaichuan took out a box of White Rabbit candy and said, "Happy birthday, Ah Yan. May you be safe and healthy."
Little Ayan looked at this and that, and liked everything he saw.
He said, "Ayan, I like you so much. Thank you sisters and brothers! Ayan loves you so much!"
The little guy was so happy that he was a little incoherent, and his chubby little face was full of happiness.
Su Mianmian touched his head and said, "From today on, our little Ayan is four years old."
Little Ayan nodded, "Yeah, Ayan is not a three-year-old child anymore. Ayan can protect his sister, father and mother."
Su Mianmian was touched by what she heard and patted his little head. "With mom, dad, and sister here, you don't need our little Ayan's protection. You just need to grow up happily. Sister will always be here."

Su Qingqing greeted everyone, "Eat, eat, and after eating, eat cake."
After everyone started eating, Su Mianmian cut the cake into pieces and gave each person a portion.
I gave little Ayan a little less.
"Eat it, try this simple version of the cake."
Qin Huaichuan gave a thumbs up and said, "It's delicious. It's better than what I ate in Beijing."
Shen Yuandao also nodded. How could the food made by his wife not be delicious? It must be delicious!
Su Mianmian: "Maybe it's because I haven't eaten it for a long time, so I'm craving it."

After dinner, Shen Yuandao and Qin Huaichuan washed the dishes and cleaned up before going back.
After eating, little Ayan went to bed early.
Su Mianmian and Su Qingqing lay on the kang, unable to sleep.
