Chapter 215

Chapter 215

“Awu…”

He reached out his fingertip and gently touched the girl's face.

Then he gazed at her with tender eyes until the deep of night.

In the middle of the night, as he was leaving, he leaned down to place a kiss on the girl's forehead, his breath instantly enveloping the clean and beautiful girl on the bed.

But when the man was just inches away from her brow, his eyes cleared for a moment. He stood up slightly and gently brushed the stray hairs from the girl's forehead behind her ear with his warm fingertips.

The gentle moonlight, which had reappeared sometime earlier, spilled into the room.

The blond, noble crown prince took the girl's hand and kissed the back of it.

"My dearest sister, see you tomorrow night."

The moment that loving, low, husky voice stopped, the roses throughout the entire Rose Kingdom slowly returned to their original white and pink color.

His figure gradually disappeared, but Ling Wu on the bed opened her eyes.

A pair of amber eyes, like glass, reflected the half-moon outside the window.

Outside the castle, a figure slowly climbed up the rose vines, his light golden hair seemingly chilled by the night wind.

Until he finally found that window, the window where the most beautiful roses bloomed.

"rustle--"

Alcipe's handsome and deep-set face gradually appeared in the window.

To his dismay, he had hoped to see the legendary, terrifying castle princess lying in bed.

But the bedroom turned out to be empty.

"Hmm? That's strange. The coordinates are fake?"

He gripped the vine with one hand and braced himself against the windowsill with the other, a hint of suspicion in his eyes.

Then, using the momentum, he lightly leaped and entered the bedroom from the windowsill.

He had just entered the bedroom and hadn't even had time to observe his surroundings when he was startled by a gentle, melodious voice, like a babbling brook.

"Who are you?"

He looked in the direction of the sound and saw a girl wearing only a dark green silk nightgown, sitting obediently by the window with her bare feet wrapped around her legs.

That face, like that of a goddess, was half kissed by the moonlight, and the other half shrouded in darkness blocked by the window sill.

The girl had a sweet smile on her lips, and her voice sounded like it came from a distant shore, making one feel intoxicated.

Alcipe has played every game available today, but this is the first time he has encountered an NPC that has been crafted to be so beautiful.

He could clearly hear his own heartbeat, but only for a moment before he regained his usual composure.

He was about to speak when the girl in front of him interrupted him, taking away his first chance to speak.

Are you Lady Luck?

Her eyes were so clear, as if she would believe anything anyone said.

The mere mention of "Lady Luck" left even Alcipe, who had charmed countless NPCs, momentarily stunned.

He didn't answer immediately, but instead sat cross-legged opposite Ling Wu, and only when their eyes met did he explain with a serious expression:

"The goddess of fortune is female, I..." He paused before he could explain, then a brilliant idea struck him, and a glowing Bible suddenly appeared in his hand.

"And I am a god."

He held the glowing Bible in his hands, his eyelashes slightly lowered as if he were truly a deity listening to his prayers.

But the girl in front of him was not as innocent as he thought. She leaned closer to him, sniffed lightly, and then frowned and said with obvious displeasure, "No, you're a liar."

Alcipe paused, and only when he checked again to see if his affinity aura was activated did he notice a small line of text beneath it:

(The high-level NPC, the castle princess, has an initial favorability rating below 0, and her affinity aura has been exposed and is now invalid!)

The girl's haughty voice rang out: "Before I get angry, you'd better leave my castle quickly, otherwise you'll be sawed to death if my brother finds out."

She stood up, her dark green skirt trailing down to her ankles.

These words were spoken with an air of arrogance and affectation, completely different from the gentle and soft manner she displayed when they first met.

But Alcipe was not disgusted; his gaze was fixed on her bare feet.

The room was filled with white goose down, and her fair feet felt like they were walking on snow when they stepped on it.

Without a second thought, Alcipe took out a jewel-encrusted brocade box from his storage space and placed it on the blanket with a smile.

"Your Highness, this is a gift for our first meeting..."

He was about to say something more when a cold, icy male voice rang out from outside the door:

"Is A-Wu awake?"

Alcipe's expression changed.

The Crown Prince found out so quickly?

He sighed softly, the rest of his words lingering on his lips, and finally he said in a low, gentle voice, "I hope Your Highness will like this gift."

He got up to leave.

Just before leaping out of the window, he tilted his head, and the moonlight made his light golden hair seem to glow, making his face look like that of a god, incomparably handsome.

“Your Highness, I am Alcipe. See you tomorrow night.”

May you have sweet dreams tonight.

He disappeared out the window as soon as he finished speaking.

But as soon as he landed, he was hit on the head by the gift box he had just left behind!

He winced in pain and instinctively covered his forehead, then looked down at the gift box that had fallen to the ground.

The gemstones shone brilliantly under the moonlight, and a smile tugged at the corners of his lips.

"How arrogant and spoiled."

Inside the room, Landric pushed open the door and looked around before approaching the girl lying on the bed with extremely light steps.

He stared at the girl's sleeping face for a long time, his eyes both tender and extremely cold.

After a short while, he gently placed the girl's hand, which was outside the blanket, back into the soft blanket before turning to leave. However, as he walked to the door, he turned back to the window.

His originally emerald eyes gleamed with a hint of gold. He reached out and stroked the roses by the window, his gaze sweeping across the castle before finally leaving the room.

next day

After Lingwu swallowed the pills with warm water as usual, Landric finally spoke up:

Did Celestia see any strange people last night?

"A person?" the girl pondered, then shook her head.

As Landric felt a chill run down his spine, he heard Lingwu say, "But there's a fraudster who claims to be a god."

Landric then affectionately ruffled Lingwu's hair, his voice containing a hint of coldness he himself was unaware of:

"Does Celestia remember what that conman looked like?"

“He has the same blond hair and blue eyes as my brother, um… he said his name is Alcipe.”

Landric's eyes flickered slightly.

Alcipe, the Supreme Strategist.

I just didn't expect it to be this fast, but...

Being called a liar by Celestia suggests that she guessed the guide NPC's identity wrong from the start.

"Brother Wang?" the girl called softly to the man who was deep in thought.

Landric snapped out of his reverie. “Celestia is very well-behaved. Let’s start learning etiquette today. In half a month, your brother will take you on a tour of the royal city.”

"And what about Alcipe?"

Hearing the girl softly call someone else's name, Landric felt somewhat displeased, but he didn't realize it, only assuming that the conqueror's speed was too fast and that it made him unhappy.

“The one who bewitched our obedient Celestia should naturally receive the punishment she deserves.”
